Antique Primitive Carved Wood Architectural Salvage Pediment 3 Misc. pieces
Three unique vintage architectural salvage wood pieces. All are in very good vintage condition. Will need some cleaning, I will leave that up to their new owner, I don't know enough about old wood to clean it for fear or damaging it. First there is a nice hand carved pediment that measures 18 in. across X 5 in. at the tallest place and 3/4 in. in depth. Next is a unique fan shaped piece with some carving on it, the measurements are 10 in. from point to top X 8 in. at it's widest points and 1 in. at it's deepest depth. Last is a very detail carved rosette, some chipping on 2 of the petals(see pictures) there is a hole drilled in the middle. Overall very nice pieces. Thank you for looking.

Architectural Pieces! The largest pediment. I think, is made of resin. It is very detailed and has some green& gold. Paint on it. It measures approximately 15 1/2" By about 5" tall. Its almost 1" thick. The next. Three pediment pieces? are made of Oak. I think. Two measure about 9 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1" one. Is about 13" x 2 3/4" x 1" There are also 7 leaves. One side of the leaf has detail& the back side. Is plain. They are carved and kind of"puffed" Out. In the center(underneath) there is a little. Hole that a dowel may have gone in. To attach it. 9 Antique Salvage Trim Pieces These beautiful carved wood antique trim pieces were probably salvaged from an ornate house or old church. This trim could again decorate above a window or door. It could be repurposed to decorate a headboard or mantle. All of the trim pieces have a nice darker color but do not have any glaze finish. They are all in very nice condition with almost no bumps or scraps. A few of the pieces have a dot of white or yellow paint on the front. All have a large splotch of yellow paint on the very back. 8 Salvage Wood Pieces/ Chippy Paint - Architectural - 1890 ship lap/ Heart Pine
These eight salvaged wood pieces came from a 1890's Florida"Cracker-style" house whose interior walls were covered in painted shiplap made from heart pine boards. Here are six small salvaged boards from a mint green room in that home. Each piece measures 12" with 9.5" painted in the mint green. This is caused by the ends of the boards laying under door and window casings. Each piece is 3.25" wide. The pieces do lap together to make one large area. But these boards are old and some of the grooves are splintered. The fronts of the boards look fine, but some edges may be damaged. Heart pine was used extensively in Florida construction at the turn of the century. It smells wonderful and lasts forever. These salvaged pieces would be great for short peg shelves for jewelry etc. or for vintage signs or small craft projects. ... morethe last photo shows what these would look like as a peg shelf. Solid Wood Decorative Trim Molding Lot of 4 Pieces - Neat Architectural Salvage!
Up for sale is a great lot of 4 vintage pieces of wood decorative trim or molding. I'm not exactly sure what this was used for. But it was salvaged from an old estate in the Cincinnati area. It is solid wood with what appears to be some sort of lacquer on it. The motif looks floral, perhaps a tulip? In terms of condition. I would consider these to be good to very good. A few pieces have some minor cracking, but nothing that goes all the way through or causes them to be falling apart. Each piece is numbered on the back. And these 4 go in order, so they are fairly evenly matched. Each piece is roughly 6.5 inches long. 2.5 inches tall, and 0.75 inches deep at the base.
