This a beautiful antique compote. It is in wonderful condition with no cracks or repairs. It has one little nick on the rim that is not noticable. It is marked on the bottom 742 Italy. It is a gorgeous stone with white. Cream and a heavy charcoal vein. It has two carved rings on the underside rim of the bowl. It has a shallow bowl that measures 10" wide and a small turned pedestal which raises the bowl to 4 1/4" tall. The bowl is an Art Deco design but its simple lines will fit into any decor. It is a very nice compote. If you have any question fell free to contact us. All breakable items will be insured by seller. We do offer refunds. It has a cracked and chipped patina and is a sand over white. Although the cannonball top has a crack it is still very solid. One side has nail holes from its original installation.see photos.
