This beautiful antique firescreen has a frame and filigree scroll work of hand hammered wrought iron. At the base of the screen there is scenery made of sheet metal. On the left panel. At the bottom there is a small house siting adjacent to a wind mill on a bluff. The lower edge of the main center panel has from left to right a small evergreen tree, a cabin, a tall evergreen tree, in the center there are two deer facing each other, then another tall evergreen tree, then there is a small boat with two people fishing. At the bottom of the right side panel there are two trees, one a small evergreen sapling, and a larger tree with a silhouette of ... morea bird. Along the top edge of the frame there is some delicate beautifully wrought scroll work, and two long tailed birds facing inward. Along the top curved edge of the screen are two handles. At the the bottom outside corners of the screen are two very ornately scrolled feet to keep the screen upright and stable. The main panel of the screen measures 29 inches wide. By 34 1/2 inches tall. The side panels are both 8 inches wide, by 28 inches tall. This screen weighs approximately 25 pounds. Condition- The condition of this piece is excellent. Beautiful Vintage Wrought Iron Fruit Motif 3 Shelf Display Stand
This is a Beautiful Wrought Iron Fruit Motif 3 Shelf Display Stand. The stand is an estate item that we purchased many years ago. Based on the time we have owned it and the fact that it already had some age. We believe it is old enough the be considered vintage but we do not know for certain. The excellent workmanship on the piece and quality and appearance of the fruit led us to believe that this might be an Italian piece but, as found, there is no tag or sticker and we cannot say for sure when or where it was made. The stand is painted a subtle green and patinated to create an antique appearance. The shelf is beautifully decorated with metal fruit and vines at the top and on the left and right sides as seen. This nice heavy. Solid piece is made entirely from wrought iron with the exception of the painted metal fruit that is made from a ... morenon-ferrous metal. The shelf is 30" high at the top of the arched back. 15 1/2" wide x 8" deep. The usable height on the first shelf is 8 3/4" and that of the second shelf is 8 3/8" A nice feature of this unit is that, while it sits in a very sturdy manner, it collapes flat for movement or storage to a thickness of less than 2 1/2" Each of the three shelves has a pin on each corner that drops into an eye on the vertical support. The shelf can be set or collapsed in a matter of seconds. This versatile and lovely shelf would be wonderful as a plant stand. Or as a display piece for art pottery or other fine antiques or collectibles. At the time of the original listing, this was one of two metal display stands being listed. Condition In examining the piece. The only condition issue I found to make note of is a small worn spot on the front of the center piece of fruit on the top from that can be seen clearly on close up photo of the top. I think this might be from rubbing against the left side panel when folded but I do not know for sure. The shelf is otherwise in excellent condition. This is a Vintage Hand Wrought Hotdog/ Weenie/ Marshmallow Roaster. We do not know specifically how old the roaster is. The roaster is made from heavy duty 1/4" iron stock. It is 29" long. Of which 4 1/2" is the handle and 6" is the tines. Using this great old roaster will add a touch of nostalgia to your campfire experience! At the time of the original listing this was one of two hotdog roaster listings. Please note that for international shipping. Condition As you can see the roaster is not perfectly straight. The deviation begins at the lower end of the decorative twists that were applied to the shaft. When you receive the roaster you will see that shaft is way to heavy for this to have been something that occurred accidentally after the piece was made. The roaster is otherwise in excellent condition. The handle is securely attached and the tines are very. Very sharp. This circa 1820 clean-out door was installed about 10" below a Bake Oven Door. The interior of the bake oven hand an ash dump in the floor of the oven which went down to a chamber below. This door covered that chamber and could be opened to retrieve(for soap making) or dump out the accumulated ash. Description This vintage circa 1920-30's Arts& Crafts chestnut roaster. Is hand worked in copper with lily leaf shaped dished bowl with a pattern of pierced holes. It is attached with copper rivets to a plain iron shaft with wrought end tapered and curled to form suspension loop or hook. This lovely old piece is not the best quality we have seen but it does have a great look to it. It is apparently unmarked and is basically in good condition with old marks, dinks, scratches and some rust marks to the handle, all consistent with its age and use. Length 54cm, width 20.7cm. Wrought Iron Gate Door Handle Hand Forged Pull Large 20lbs Vintage Mid Century
This is a huge and heavy black wrought iron hand-forged door or gate handle/pull. It's from a mid-century house here in Phoenix. It measures 22" long and almost 13" deep. 7" at widest point; weights 20.5 lbs. It could be much older than mid-century, I don't know. It has surface rust and a few small, round drops of what appears to be where runny cement splashed on it- a good cleaning with a wire brush and fresh paint and it would look amazing. There is one round metal plate attached to the bottom, it could be either brass or copper that has turned with age or another unknown metal that bolts on to the other side of the door/gate. This is an antique wrought iron street lamp that features textured bubble amber plate glass. The metal is twisted and very ornate. The amber glass shines with wicked age. The only flaw I see is a piece of the glass missing as pictured on picture#4. This cannot actually even bee seen, and was only discovered when I was taking pictures. This would look absolutely awesome in an outdoor garden, or as a porch light. It will provide a very strong architectural visual centerpiece. It is large at approx. 14" tall x 13" wide. Nice vintage aluminum bowls. These hand wrought grape leaf bowls were made by Buenilum between 1933 and 1941. The larger bowl measures approximately 9" wide by 8 1/2" long. The smaller bowl is approximately 7" wide by 6 1/2" long. Both are in nice shape for their age. Showing minimal signs of wear. Vintage Antique Heavy Gold Colored Wrought Iron Electric Hanging Chandelier
This vintage. Gold colored, iron chandelier was purchased at an estate sale, and if only it could speak, I'm sure it would have some VERY interesting tales to tell. This old timer will need some work(and rewiring, I'm sure) but it would feel right at home in Dr. Frankenstein's castle. The chandelier stands approximately 24" tall and is approximately 20" in diameter. It weighs over eight pounds.
