The ones I found are listed as"Quartersawn ... moreOak and(very rare) Curly Birch Bed Room Suites" This is the mirror off of the"pattern mirror dresser" and is"Mahoganized" according to their catalog which gives it the spectacular reddish brown color. The carving is very deep. High relief motifs of scrolls, feathers and plumes. This would have set on an ornate mirror frame that attaches to the dresser. The paper tag shown is off of the matching"Mirror Dresser" Which was sold with this bedstead as a set. I am certain they are a match as I also have the bedstead with the same motifs, and these ornaments are also carried through on the drawer pulls for this dresser. The sets that are similar to this one are on the first pages of the catalog, so I am assuming that these were the very best that the Cron Company would have to offer. They are also curly birch and are mahoganized. This mirror measures 32 inches wide by 29 inches tall. The L. C& W. L. Cron Company"Manufacturers of Bed Room Suites" was located in Piqua. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. Up for sale we have a very nice finial from a newel post. We hope you may have a use for this piece as a new decoration in the home. The grain and color are just beautiful. The Post top measures 10" tall by 6" in dia. This top has the original finish on it. The bottom shows the turning of this piece during its making as a 19th C. carving. Nice pair of 1/4 sawn oak columns. Each column stands 5' 5-5/8" tall. Has 6-1/4" square base. Egg and dart retail on top. Columns sections are approximately 4-1/4" dia. Has flat spot on each column at top that sits against wall(shown in picture) There are some holes. Rather small. There are more in one column and those holes are shown in one of the pictures. Matching. Tapered, antique columns. Solid, quarter sawn oak construction. Guaranteed Victorian pieces. They have doubled, beveled, ring bases with a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. Tapering upwards is another beveled ring. Directly above that are acanthus leaf carvings. Then you have classical, ionic scrolls with a carved flower in the middle. Antique Architectural Newel Post Base Banister Base Tiger Oak Great Pedestal Too A 26 years long time antique dealer in this area is closing her doors for good. And I actually spent two days picking this weekend through her stuff. She specialized in very old primitives, but I was able to grab a little bit for everyone– I have some fabulous advertising, industrial, retro, deco, lots of store displays and apothecary too– you don’t want to miss this week! WOW. Do I love this one! It's a beautiful antique architectural piece for you. A post bottom of base of some sorts- it's 12 1/2 lbs heavy and in excellent solid and sturdy structural condition- totally strong. Wouldn't it make a wonderful pedestal for your pretty? It's hollow on the inside, as you can see in my photos, with a solid wood base that has a single small hole at the ... morebottom, and numbers that are impressed in the wood- there's 18243, and then there's 396. I do not know the maker. You can also see wood pegs on the underside too- see photo 21- they are lighter in color and round. It measures 9 7/8" square at the base, 7 1/2" square at the body and 8 7/8' square at the top. The opening at the top is 4 1/4" square. It's 12 1/2" tall. I'm showing it next to my footstool in photo 2 for a size reference. The piece is covered with a tiger oak veneer, and you can see that there's one row of a carved look veneer just above the base- see photo 16. I do not know what the body wood is, but it's hard wood, and it even could be oak- see my top and bottom photos and what you think, as I am not sure. The patina is dark and shows a fair amount of wear to the finish- more aligatored crackles from age than anything. There's one corner that has a chip to the veneer- I'm showing it from one side in photo 19 and from the other side in photo 20. The photo 19 side chip is about 1" by 1" while the two chips on the other side are about 1/4" and 1/8" There's some other small spots and corn

Tall. Classic, architectural column. Original, salvaged, 19th century, antique. Slightly tapered, quarter sawn oak. Tiger striping is fantastic. Encircling bottom is nicely beveled& recessed trim around the circumference. Raised block base. Moving up near the top are 2 more small raised bands, again encircling the circumference. Above those you see ornate egg/dart trim. Beautiful scrolls at all 4 corners. Carved flower medallions on 3 sides. Other side is plain. Good overall condition. All carving intact. It measures 64 5/8 inches long with a 6 5/8 by 6 1/2 inch base. Some finish wear on one side of lower half. Top measures 7 5/8 inches square. Many other salvaged architectural pieces listed.
