This ... morecame from a very old local estate; I'm sure it's over 100 years old. I was told that it was made by the old Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond. VA. It's a very heavy, wonderfully ornate decorative fence. It was encased in concrete at the house when I obtained it. There are J hook rods through the bottom of the posts. You could probably re-use them if needed, or just cut them off if you are using this for décor; as they are not needed for display purposes. This item is just the panel part of the fence. With 2 posts. There is NO door or gate function; this doesn't function as an actual entrance gate or security fence. As you can see from the photos, all 3 parts are separate pieces and would need to be reassembled/put back together to make 1 full piece again. The posts are sort of loose and would need to be put back together. The finials are a pretty fleur-de-lis style. This fence would be used for décor or accent purposes. Cosmetically. The iron has an old, vintage, weathered patina. It doesn't get more perfect than this! It measures 4 feet tall and is 5 feet long. Description This is nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of walnut and is painted brown. It has the original cap. It has a light but it is missing. The top has large bullseyes on 3 sides. The shaft is fluted and the corners are trimmed in reel and bead molding. It is notched for the step but is freestanding. It measures 48.25 inches tall. 7.5 square at the base and 6 square at the shaft. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Description This is a nice newel post that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of oak and is painted brown. It has its original cap with egg and dart molding below. The top has carved panels on three sides. The shaft is a recessed panel with applied wreathes and bell flowers on three sides. These are carved wood. No gesso. The base is notched for the step but is freestanding. The total measurements are 48.5 inches tall by 9 inches square at the base and 7 inches square at the shaft. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a couple of small missing moldings. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 21430 Shipping. For sale are two Antique Solid Marble Column Capitals. They each weigh 22-23 lbs. Measured Diagonally from corner to corner. They are 10" across the top(around 6" across the pinched in middle part) They could use some cleaning/polishing, I was unsure of the best way to do this so I left them as is. Some chips on both, mainly on the tops of the capitals. This was salvaged from an old late 1800's brick Iowa two story Victorian church parsonage house that was torn down. It measures 60" in height. Made from cherry wood stock. Post has been stripped very clean and is ready for stain and finish. It is missing some trim molding for the upper section as well as the cap. I used to have it but the pieces have gotten misplaced over the years and are gone now but can be easily trimmed with any other kind of old similar molding and caps aren't hard to find. Antique Ornate Carved Wood Architectural Salvage Column Top Or Display Shelf
This is a beautiful antique ornate carved wood architectural salvage column top which can also be used as a display shelf. I'm fairly certain it dates from the late 19th century. 1880s or 1890s. It measures 7 7/8 inches tall(20 cm) Depending on which you call the top or the bottom. One measures 12 5/8 inches x 5 1/2 inches(32 cm x 14 cm) and the other measures 8 1/2 inches x 3 1/4 inches(21.6 cm x 8.3 cm) Given its many fleur de lis and the way it was made. I believe it's French. There are no nails, only glue, wood pegs and splining. There is a 1 inch(2.54 cm) x 1/4 inch(63 cm) chipped off piece of wood in the center a few inches from the top(or bottom) One of the large pieces of carving in the corner has a scrape to the front(please see photo) Other than this. There are a few dents, nicks, chips, scratches, scuff marks and age-related ... morecracks. But overall, it's a great looking piece and is very sturdy. I took most of the photographs with the large part on the bottom. But it can be used either way. It weighs 3 pounds 7 1/2 ounces(1.57 kg)

Description This is a nice post that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of walnut and is currently painted. It has the original finial. The top has raised bulls eyes on 3 sides. The shaft is fluted with beveled edges and recessed bulls eyes in the middle. It is notched for the step but is not freestanding. It measures 53.75 inches tall. Is 8 inches square at the base and 6 inches square at the shaft. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are nail holes along the bottom. The handrail was recessed into the post. Please look at the pictures carefully.
