They have Eastlake Spoon Carvings below the the finials. The top has carved oak leaf and acorn panels on three sides. There are ornate carved moldings above and below the panels. The shafts are fluted with turned 1/4 round columns at the corners. They are notched for the step. Your bid buys the pair. Each measures 56 inches tall by 7 square at the shaft and 8.5 square at the top. The black is a tad taller. Overall. They are in very good co ndition. Pair of matching vintage cast iron columns. 30" tall. Tops are 7 1/2" in diameter and bases are 9 3/4" in diameter. Nice fluted horizontal ribs top to bottom. Both are solid. Very heavy with no cracks, missing metal, rot, or other visible damage. Very old paint that is checking, chipping and has different colors on top and under each. Some random spray paint areas. Please look at photos as the are part of description. No large areas of paint loss. Nice even patina. Surface rust under paint. Bases have 3 holes for mounting. No mounting holes on tops.
