OUTSTANDING ANTIQUE MINT LEADED GLASS " FLAME" SHADE/HANDEL
This is a stunning lamp shade; I wonder if it was from a hanging light fixture; or one of those keen examples that are at the base of a staircase; I often wonder if these things could talk; the stories they could tell. The glass itself is curved and leaded; the color is delicious and the lampshade is MINT; no cracks. No breaks, I am going to download a few more pictures that I took showing light coming through the glass itself. It measures not quite 8 1/2" tall with a fitter measurement of just under 3 1/4" upon closer inspection at the metal rim I find a mark, hand-written: Handel 127118 G. I will include a picture of that as well in my update. I will more than likely double-box this; lastly; this is INVESTMENT GRADE and exceptional. You will love this lampshade. Good luck.

Antique G. E. Co. Arts & Crafts Industrial Era Copper & Diffuse Glass Table Lamp
18-1/2" high G. E. looks bronze but is probably copper) lamp which has the old"bumpy" diffused glass held by the copper frame& small rounded brass screws. As shown. would look great with a good looking slag glass) It has no damage, just the patina of age with a few gentle"bumps" at the top corners and edges. All of the glass is intact with no cracks or breaks and the lamp is good, solid and very heavy for its size. I am assuming it is made by"G. E. as the switch indicates or, perhaps, it was just a G. E. switch. The lower edges of the shade measure about 10-1/4" square and the base measures about 4-1/4" square. I think it has its original wiring and cord. Works just fine. it will be shipped as one unit with shade in place.

AMAZING Art Glass Antique Lamp Shade Metal Base Irridescent Quezal? Loetz? LOOK!
Beautiful! Purchased this lamp along with other antiques from an estate of A Naval Rear Admiral originally from the Coronado California area. He had many wonderful items! I cannot find a signature on the lamp shade. Although I may be missing something. Also, there is no felt or bottom covering on the base. The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. The rim of shade has no chips, just slight roughness. Shade is excellent. The metal base does has some discolor here& there. The lamp works and cord is fine. If it is a replacement, ... moreit was done many years ago. NOTE The four spokes supporting the base for the shade may be able to be tightened. This part moves slightly if shade is touched. Antique lamp base part for slag glass shade , Bradley and Hubbard
This antique base is not si gned but I have seen it on Bradley and Hubbard lamps so I have listed it as such. It is primarily made of pot mteal with a br ass stem and steel socket cluster. All are painted in a bronze col ored finish with gilt highlights. The paint has some chipping and could use some restor ation. Other than that this base is in fine condition. It is not cracked bent or broken in any way. It is 20" tall and measures 8 1/2"across the widest dimension of the bottom. T he top of the socket cluster measures 1 3/4" It weighs 5 3/4 pounds. The wiring seems replaces but old. The brass fitting that the bulb goes into also appears to be newer that the lamp. This nice period lamp dates ca. 1900-1915 and manufactured in an era when they could be“wired” for either gas or electricity. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. The owner thought it should be re-wired for sale, so that has been done. ANTIQUE GLASS/CRYSTAL HURRICANE LAMP WITH PRISMS - WORKS
For Sale: A beautiful hurricane lamp that is still in working condition. I'm not sure if the material is glass or lead crystal. It's very heavy like crystal and looks like it. But I can't be sure. It measures 11-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide. It's not a real thin lamp like some lamps of this type. The glass/crystal on the stem is a little wider and it's very well made. It still works. It just needs a globe. The prisms are all there. The wires have rivets on the ends which is how they stay hooked on the lamp. Two of them are missing the rivet. They still hook to the shade just fine. You just have to bend the wire a little. There is also one rivet missing on one of the wires on the top of one of the long prisms. I did the same thing, I just put the wire through the prism and bent it upwards a bit and it's fine. ... moreOne of the prisms is just a tiny bit rounded on the end versus the sharp V. I'm not sure if it was chipped and then sanded and polished at one time or not. It isn't noticeable. It blends fine because it's the very tip and you really have to look to notice it. All of the prisms are there. I removed some of them for a couple of photos. They are not missing. I also removed all of them so interested buyers could see exactly what the lamp looks like. This is a beautiful old glass light fixture shade. It has sharp ribbing all around the piece with a ruffled type edge. The effect when light hits it is very pretty. The actual base opening measures just a smidge over 1.5 inches across and if you include the edges it measures 2.25 inches across. The piece measures 7 7/8 inches across. Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp Miller Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh, Handel, Empire
This is a beautiful nice sized bent slag glass lamp. The shade is a combination variegated deep carmel bent slag glass with a beautiful look to it. The filigree work is just wonderful and sets off the colors in the shade. The lamp is a combination of brass. Copper, bronze and pot metal with a great golden patinated finish near 100% The lamp stands 20 inches tall. The shade is 16 inches wide and about 6 1/2 inches tall. There are 2 vintage sockets working off of one pull chain. One pull turns on one light, second turns on the second light, third pull goes back to one light and fourth pull turns it all off, it all works well. The lamp has been rewired with correct wiring and works and looks just great. This beautiful lamp is unmarked except for a#1 on the base. Features Houze Sage Green Slag Glass embellishments on this great old lamp. Early 1900's lamp. Perfect Condition. Shade has a pinkish interior. I can't say for sure the shade dates as old as the lamp. But it is an old shade. Has an old Fat boy socket in it; I've turned it on and off 25-30 times; works great. Should probably have no more than a 60 watt bulb, though in the old days, they regularly installed 100 waters. Designed as a task light, mainly for reading in the parlor. 56 1/2" tall. Lamp will be disassembled for shipment. Not hard to reassemble at all.

We have 6 listed this week.My Great Uncle owned a lamp shop in DC for almost 50 years. From the late 30's until the early 80's. The lamps we have listed this week came from his estate. My aunt, his daughter, recently passed away and we took these parts from her attic. Her Dad had strung these parts in order on a piece of wire and had them hanging in his shop. After he passed my aunt brought them home and hung them in her attic. About 10 years ago she gave us a strand of these parts. We found a threaded pole here on ebay and took the pieces ... moreoff of the wire, sliding them down the pole in the order they came off of the wire and we have had a beautiful slag glass floor lamp ever since. My aunt has recently passed away and these parts came from her attic.This one has what looks to me to be a green vaseline type glass incorporated into its design one of which has chips as shown but the others are fine. The cast iron base and steel parts had been stripped of their paint and or plating years ago and they got rusty so I took my wire wheel and went over them but you'll still need to brush them again before painting however most of the prep work is done. The base is really rusty on the under side but I cleaned the threads up and they look fine. There are 2 matching brass tubes. I polished a small area of one of the tubes so you can see what they'll look like once cleaned up. I do not have any sockets and of course the pole is missing too but the threads in the base look fine. I laid these parts out in a line on the floor and as far as I can tell there are enough to make about a 54" tall lamp. Rod is not included. Thank you for viewing. Antique Caramel & Multi Color Slag Glass 16 Panel Table Lamp
Antique Caramel and Multi colored Slag Glass 16 panel table lamp. Lamp measures approximately 22" tall with shade. One of the large glass panels is broken and one of the small glass panels is partially broken. The broken pieces for the large glass panel come with the lamp. I do not know how complete the pieces and if they fit properly. There are no glass pieces for the small glass panel. This lamp is working and looks like it was re wired not too long ago and has new bulb sockets. There is normal wear on lamp body from age. But i did not see any damage or breaks to the metal work on the shade or the base of lamp. I don't know if all the Slag glass panels are original. Lamp is from old estate.

Offering this very attractive antique Victorian Era Gone With The Wind Table Lamp. Originally oil but now converted to electric power. The parts maker was P& A. Royal who made the parts for the early Aladdin Lamps. This has a beautiful swirl milk glass base with a forest and mountain scene that appears to be a transfer ware process decoration. The cast iron feet are adorned with Cherubs at four points. Other than the cut outs for the conversion, one at the bottom of the pot and two at the top for the on- off chain, it is in great shape and just needs a shade. It measures 12 inches tall to top of the shade holder, is 6 inches wide at the top of the base and 7 inches wide at the swirl area of the base. The feet area measures 6 1/4 inches squared. This lamp has been sitting in my grandmother's home ever since purchased in the 1930's and has sat in a niche in her stairwell for as long as I can remember. Now I inherited it. Had it rewired. The original cloth wiring was in bad shape. It has its original, very delicate glass shade which is held on by two screws(as seen in pictures) Lamp is fragile and glass is only held on by the two screws. ANTIQUE SPELTER SCULPTURE GREYHOUND WHIPPET DOG OIL LAMP EAGLE GLASS SHADE 32"
We are pleased to offer this very special lamp. Dating to the 1880s. This beautiful lamp is truly an art piece. It features a large or ornate cast iron base with either pewter or silver plate hardware just above. Seated in the mid section of the lamp is a wonderful spelter Greyhound or Whippet dog sculpture. This beautiful piece is nicely detailed and the collared dog is gorgeous. He is seated upon a pewter or silver plate piece which is incised and resembles a cobblestone or bricked surface. A lall and slender brass column is positioned behind the dog and attached the lamp base to the brass oil reservoir. The brass reservoir is large. It has a few minor dings but is in good condition. There is a area on the upper section which is opened and does not have a cover(see picture 9) I am not sure what this is. The original font has been replaced, ... moreprobably when the lamp was converted. However, it would be very easy to return the lamp to oil burning if you so desired. The lamp has a beautiful, golden yellow shade with Eagle and Star pattern. It is very nice with some minor wear. This lamp is quite rare and exceptional. It is in overall wonderful condition but it does have some minor signs of age and use. It is a gorgeous piece of 19th century art! The lamp is quite large. It measures 24" to the top of the burner. This bright Amethyst colored glass lamp was originally just candle burning when we purchased it many years ago. We had it professionally wired. Without any drilling or altering of the glass, the wire runs down the outside back. Condition is in as near perfect as can be. The brass base was also added when we wired it as a lamp. There were never any chips or cracks that had to be ground out, it is as it was originally made. The glass candlestick is 14 1/2" tall, and 25" to the shade rest, lampshade not included. The lamps were made by Mutual Sunset Light Company of Brooklyn, NY. The base has MSLC 4024 on both of them. Some question out on eBay as to whether these lamps were designed by Gilbert Rohde, anyone out there know where that open item can be confirmed or disproved? Your identity will be kept anonymous. The lamps appear to be made of brass and pressed glass. The bottoms above the brass base are also a cube of glass. A couple of chips in the cubed glass on both pieces. Nice pair of Tyndale fabric shades come with the lamps as well. Some of the gold gilt around the lamp needs to be reattached. But all there. Did not plug the lamps in to see if they work. ... moreYou can see one of the lamps has the bottom of the socket missing. There are no shade holders with this pair, piece that runs up from the socket to hold the shade in place. Some corrosion to the brass finish pieces on the lamps. Pair original Antique leaded slag glass lamps ornate base victorian Art Nouveau
This is a beautiful pair of victorian table lamps They are very ornate and are original the leaded glass/stained glass shades are in great shape with no visible breaks. the bases retain 975 of the original paint. one lamp does have a replacement cord on it the other has an older one that is not frayed and is still in usable shape. check out the pictures and you will see what fine examples these two lamps really are. the lamps stand 15 inches tall.
