This is a hand made cut lead leaded bent glass. Antique hanging slag glass bent panel lamp. Not one of the oldest I've seen but a stunning Tiffany style panel design 1950- 1960. Stunning carousel with a scalloped edge. Tiffany glass style swag hanging lamp measures 15" Wide and 12" Tall. This is a original lamp. The reason the cord and chain is missing is because the chain was rusty and the cord was old and cracked. This light has 12 panels on each row all but the top and it has 8 panels. Antique, Unique, Red, White,Brass Victorian, Tiffany Style Slag glass lamp shade
This is a beautiful lampshade that can be easily converted to a hanging swag lamp. It is ornate. Nicely patinaed brass with alternating slag glass panels of brilliant red and swirled white. From what I understand, minerals were added during the process of making the glass to get those rich colors and swirl marks. I am no expert though. I will throw in the base for free if you purchase. The base is not original to the lamp. It is a heavy brassy base. Ornate and compliments the shade nicely. We have searched the internet for one like this one and we cannot find another one like it. VINTAGE LARGE CREAM OFF WHITE STAINED GLASS SLAG SINGLE LIGHT PETAL CHANDELIER
Amazing lamp. Works great. Recently taken down. One minor repair needs to be done. I took a picture of it. One little part on the edge trim needs to be either glued or soldered again. I was thinking JB Weld from the hardware store would work as well. Its just a little spot that some epoxy and a small clamp would fix it in no time. Antique Slag Glass Lamp Blue White Ornate Art Nouveau Fleuris De Lis Design
10 Day Auction! Antique Art Nouveau Design Slag Glass Lamp This antique slag glass lamp is in very good condition. The beautiful slag glass is a marbled sky blue and white. Glass is free from chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. The Octagon shaped shade consists of 8 of these slag glass panels over cast metal and brass frame. As you can see in the photos they are held securely in place by the tiny clips on the sides of each panel. As for the balance of the lamp. Some other parts are made of cast metal, such as parts of the column. I also note some more brass and also iron. Overall the cast metal frame for the shade is in very good condition. It features a sea shell and Fleur De Lis design throughout each 8 sections of the frame. I did not notice any bent parts or breaks to this metal. The balance of the lamp is also in very good condition with ... moresome areas of light rust to the very base. This base piece is made of iron. The lovely Fleur De Lis design carries out part way down the column! The lamp has been rewired. By a professional. If you will note in the one photo of the sockets. The metal above that has a very tiny hole, which is a defect in the casting itself- this is not damage. Its truly one very pretty slag glass lamp. In very good condition! Measurements- The lamp"without the shade" measured from top of finial to bottom of base measures approx. 23 and 1/2 inches. The diameter of the bottom of the"lamp base" measures approx 7 and 3/4 inches. Shade measures approx 17 inches in diameter and is approx. 9 and 1/2 inches high. The slag glass panels measure approx. 8 and 1/2 inches long by 6 and 1/8 wide inches measured at longest and widest point. By the way I measured only one of the panels in order to give you an idea of their size.

Vintage Mid Century White Swirl Slag Glass Lamp ITEM DESCRIPTION This Vintage White Swirl Slag Glass Lamp shows signs of normal age and wear. There is a chip on one of the corners. I took photos of it but it is hard to see. The chip is about 3/4" wide by about 1/4" tall. I didn't notice the chip until after I started taking photos so it doesn't really stick out. The glass looks like it is pressed and is white with deep white swirls. It really does look nice. All lot of the plating is gone from the brass but the patina adds to the piece.
