This is a set of two beautiful antique/vintage victorian style lamps. They are both made of glass and metal/brass but not sure on exactly what type of metal is used. Both lamps are in good working condition. I have had them both plugged in and they work just fine. There is no damage to either lamp. But will need a light cleaning(will leave that up to the buyer) The right shades on these and they wood be just stunning! Ready to plug in and use. This is a really nice Victorian/Downton Abbey-style floor lamp. It measures 66" tall from bottom base to top of shade. The shade measures 24" top to bottom. And 72" around at the largest part. It is silk with silk brocade fringe. It looks cream colored in the photos but there is actually a pink hue to it. Midway up the stand is a 15" around glass piece wrapped around the pole, which is referred to as a smoking stand. The cord at the bottom is original and has been protected by a metal cord. The lamp works great and is in overall very good condition. The pole has a few scratches but the shade has no defects. Please see all the photos and let us know if you have any questions! Vintage Victorian Style Cranberry Marbled Porcelain Urn Hand Painted Table Lamp This is a very nice example of 1950s. 60s French Renaissance style furnishings. An urn style cranberry marbled porcelain lamp featuring a vignette of a beautiful flower scene. The lamp itself is in good condition; no cracks chips or crazing. One scrap on paint see pic. The gold dotted trim around the vignette is a nice accent as well and has some ware. The base has an area that looks to be oxidized or worn. The lamp on/off switch is a little buggy but does turn off and on sometimes you have to rotate dial an extra turn to activate on or off. These are in very good to excellent condition given their age. We observed no cracks or chips. The overall painting and appliques are in excellent condition with little if any wear observed. They have a slight pearlized finish making them nice and shiny. The cast metal bases could use a little polishing although they look very good as is. They both require re-wiring as the cords are almost brittle and one cord is cut. We took off the shade holders for photographic purposes only. These are easily clipped back into place. The top finials are mismatched: one is polished, the other is ... moreantiqued. There are a couple extra antiqued finial extension sections included. The felt on the bottom of one lamp needs repair or replacing. We left it as is to photograph the inside of the cast metal base. These lamps measure approx. 24" tall to the top of the shade frame where the shade would rest(excluding screw-in finial) They measure approx. 9" from the top of the ceramic base to the top of the shade frame. This will give you an idea what size shade will be needed as there are no shades included. Each lamp weighs approx. 4 1/2 pounds. One lamp is curiously a tiny bit shorter than the other by about a half inch. This is entirely unnoticeable unless measuring. To us. This shows that each was individually made and not mass produced like things are these days. We may have to ship each lamp separately. Insurance will be included. Because this is pre-owned by someone other than us. There may be imperfections we have not noticed or are not aware of. Please see photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have. Sold as is. VINTAGE METAL LAMP– ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STYLE– faded gilt tone– could be touched up with gold paint if you wanted something shiny! Looks like white metal under the base. But no part is attracted by a magnet. The lamp has a cord and push switch on the socket. The metal has somewhat faded over the years enough too make it look like a good antique light. You can use a fabric shade on it. But a leaded shade would really make it look antique. MEASUREMENTS: The lamp weighs just less than 3 pounds before packing. The lamp has the electrical wiring. And is working here at home– I have taken a picture with a light bulb to show you. I can’t promise that it will be working when it reaches you– I will pack it carefully– see my feedback for how well my items are packed. However I cannot promise how careful the Post Office will be. The lamp has a harp to ... morehold the shade– no lamp shade included. There is a finial at the top of the harp. Two seam lines on each side of the lamp stem(middle) Measures about 24 inches to the top of the finial. Diameter of the base is about 6 inches. Without the harp on it(I will remove it only for shipping) it measures 14 ½ inches to the base of the electrical socket. The lamp is circa 1960– 1970’s.
