Description VINTAGE MINIATURE BRASS OIL LAMP Interesting and unusual vintage solid brass oil lamp measuring only 3-1/4" tall. Featuring a small can shape with removable lid. Tiny ball finial. Attached hanging ring, angled w ick arm. Sturdy colum n with solid tiered foot- base is flat so it can rest against a wall. But will also stand independently. Stamped MADE IN HOLLAND on the base. Condition is good with lots of age related wear. Discoloration, and general soiling in all the joints- interior is clear. But has a bit of surface verdig ris- ha n ger is canted a bit, but I think that is by design. Not damage. Lid removes and lamp can be unscrewed via the column and the holder. I'm uncertain of the original intent. But g uessing some type of oil lamp- it has been used. Heavy. Vintage Miniature Brass Lamp Up for sale is an interesting vintage brass lamp. It measures a bit over 3 inches tall and is a little of 3 inches in length. The base has detailed ornate decorations of flowers and leaves. It also has some type of script on one side… Arabic? Hebrew? Not Sure! I have tried to picture it as best I can. The base also is filled with a cotton like substance and it has a wick. It is in GREAT condition. If you know what it is… Please let me know! It is a really cool piece! Offered is this wonderful little ca.1890-1920 pleated lampshade in the color ochre(ocher: a yellow-gold color. Golden, goldenrod) It is decorated with tiny glass seed bead fringe in bronze, silver, and gray metallic tones hang 2" long[5.08 cm] around the full perimeter. The material is believed to be a heavy linen( of some sort. With a feel of being heavily starched on the small, tight pleats. The fancy yellow'balloon' trim at both top and bottom perimeter appears to be silk. please don't quote me on the materials. Except for the beads) The shade area(not counting the fringe) measures 3-1/4" 8.255 cm] high(5.25" 13.335 cm] total height) The top opening is approx. 4" inches[10.16 cm] diameter. And the bottom is approx. ... more5-1/2" 13.97 cm] diameter. In very good condition with minor wear. All the present beads are firmly intact. There are two strings of missing beads. Which is really hardly noticeable due to how closely together they are to one another. Approx. 1-2" of the trim is loose, which is an easy fix(see pic) There is some minor soil and minor wear on only one small section of the balloon-shape trim. From a smoke-free home. As it is. Offered is this wonderful little white milk-glass oil lamp or kerosene lamp with matching round glass globe/ball shade. Measures just 7" inches high total. With a 2-1/2" diameter base. Includes original brass burner. The bottom is very slightly concave. I find no maker marks on it anywhere. Including the small brass parts. The lamp is definitely antique, and appears to be complete. There are four different green scenes on it- a windmill. Sail ship, barn, and what looks to be a farm house, resembling Currier& Ives scenes. In very good condition with a couple of small flaws- one being a few tiny flea bites on the top rim of the globe. And some tarnish to the brass fittings, which should clean up. No wick. Peeking down inside I can ... moresee some old oil residue on the inside bottom, but nothing out of the ordinary( The top and bottom green colors differ very slightly. Apparently at some point. Someone attempted to repair t he threaded brass collar/ring with some glue. I didn't try to unscrew it. Up for auction is a Vintage Cranberry Miniature Inverted Thumbprint Oil Lamp in the GWTW Style. This little lamp stands about 9 3/4" to the top of the chimney. The base is about 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" round. The chimney is 5" The top lampshade is about 3" high and 4 1/2" round. The top of the lampshade has been ground as well as the bottom of the shade. A heavy little piece that appears to be well made. The cranberry color is dark and rich looking. No chips or cracks with the exception being when the lamp was made the bottom of the top shade is rough where it was ground in one spot.
