Base and torch are made of brass. I do not know the age of the lamp but judging by the style and plug I would say it from the 1930"s or 1940"s. This lamp is in excellent condition, there is some minor damage to the base of the shade that is only visible when the shade is removed from the lamp. Antique Vintage Oil Lamp And 2 Frosted Glass Shades
NO RESERVE AUCTION for antique green glass oil lamp and a pair of stunning shades. These are not matched item- the lamp likely had a regular glass oil lamp shade on it. The 2 shades are pink and powder-blue. With very minor chips to the color at the bottom edge of the pink one, and a spot of black'smudge' on the bottom of the blue one. Not sure what the black is(tar maybe) but have not attempted to clean it off in case I damaged the shade. They have matching beautiful raised patterns on the surface of a vine with berries and leaves. The lamp is about 11inch tall. The shades are approx. 6.5 inch diameter and 8.5 inch tall. The glass shades could be adapted and used on a modern light fitting. Enjoy!

This is an unusual piece. A scent or perfume diffuser in the shape of a lamp. Very good condition. Very pretty. 6 inches tall, 5" wide. The base is iridescent milk glass with a frosted glass shade. The shade is decorated at intervals with painted flowers. From metal strips on the shade. Hang clear pendant charms. At the top is a gold tone cap open areas to release the fragrance. This cap unscrews from the base to reveal the wick. The diffuser can be filled with fragrance or aromatic oil of your choice. I bought this from an antique fair in the UK. Some time ago now, 20 years or so. I do not have any other information about it. It is not lighted. Just serves as a diffuser. There are no makers marks to guide us further. Set of 2 Vintage Frosted Satin Glass Light Shades Globes w/Hand Painted Roses
A beautiful pair of lamp globes/shades. They stand 4" tall and measure 3" across the bottom from side to side. They have roses in three locations around each glass shade which is a frosted/satin style. I believe these are old as the glass has bubbles in it and there are even minute differences in the glass shade design so don't know if they were individually made. The one with bubbles has a little larger flare at bottom and the rose painting seems a tad smaller than the other one; the design at bottom edge is also a little different with deeper ridges on one than the other. In nice shape with no cracks. Did feel a flea bite and rough edge around the raised rim above the scalloped edge, but no one will know but you. Also there is some paint wear on the roses, but minor. There are no chips or crack on this piece whatsoever but it does appear that the top and the base were glued together. Not sure if that is just how it was made. Here are two(2) gorgeous. Vintage frosted(white) glass shades meant to be used in hanging, pendant style swag ceiling lamps. Fixtures not included- this sale is for the glass shades only) See pictures for dimensions. Shades are in great condition. The design is meant to resemble draped fabric. Only the shades themselves are made of thick, white frosted glass. Lit up, they will be striking. Although I have no info on these shades in particular. I did find the identical design attributed to L&L(Loevsky& Loevsky) a manufacturer of many kinds of decorative glass items. I would guess them to be from the 1950s or early1960s. Mid-Century Modern era, although they could be an earlier throwback to Victorian revival looks of the 1920s and 1930s, or a later Hollywood Regency look from the 70s. They would be a great focal piece for a sleek retro ... moremodern styled room. Or an outrageously baroque throwback.

But a couple of the flames have some applied blotched- missed areas but can turn/hide so not to be seen. Fitted base have normal old chips but not seen when inserted in lamps holder. see all pictures) The top crimped rims do not meet all way round. But told was normal when they were making them back then! Colors may very in camera settings. These are great for most older Table Chandelier Lamps.
