VINTAGE BRASS& DARK CRANBERRY GLASS HANGING LAMPS This is a beautiful pair of hanging lamps in perfect condition. The lamps measure 10" from the opening at the top to the point at the bottom; the diameter is 6" at the widest part of the globes. M ade in India using their unique intricate detailing. Are bands of brass wrapped around dark cranberry glass globes. They are an elegant way to create soft lighting using candles, floating candles or oils. I wanted to put these lovely globes up for auction but the bracket on one of the hanging wall hooks had broken off so I took it to be welded. Please see pictures of the welding repair. I've also showed a picture of the bracket that is alright. The bracket is now firmly in place however there is a very small area on the front of the wall hook that has a little discoloration; I was ... moretold that it was cause from the heating temperature needed to do the repair. The overall condition of the two wall hooks is very good. It's hard to describe the beauty of these hanging globes. I hope my pictures make a good impression. And it is 6"across the middle and 1&3/8"opening for the end that is the widest and the other smaller hole has a 5/8"opening,which has a few very short fine lines where it had the hole cut and do not consider them to be cracks.This has a faint seam on one side.What the lamp or maker of the lamp was that this came off of I do not know.Enjoy. These were usually found in the entrance way of older homes, but now it will look great in any room. It is all original and hangs 25-1/2” down from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. The shade is 7” high x 6-1/4” in diameter. There are no chips or cracks. The lamp has been rewired and is ready to hang. 1934 Matching Pair of Vintage Art Deco Cranberry Lamps
Here's a Beautiful Pair of 1934 Art Deco Lamps in Very-Good Condition. I handled an estate for a close friend of mine. And these were his Aunt's. Notice she taped a note to the bottom of the base that reads"Gift from Mom and Dad 1934" As typical for the era, base appears to be made of pot-metal. Pot-metal breaks easily, and as you can see one of the lamps has a crack across the top(see photo#8) Some of the gold paint has worn off of the base, but 90% still remains. The glass shades are in Very-Good Condition, one of the shades has two very-tiny nicks at the top(see photo's#10& 11) the other has none. The majority of the gold decoration on the shades is intact, but it has worn off or is thin in some spots. There are also some small chips to the bottom rim of the shades from normal usage. The cords are not as brittle ... moreas you would think, appear to be original, and both lamps work great. The Hexagonal base has three long sides and three short ones, the long ones measure 3 1/2" while the short ones measure 1 1/2" Long. The base measures 10" Tall without a bulb, and the glass shades measure just under 5" in diameter at the top, and are 8" High.

This one the pattern is actually out from the main glass. When you rub your finger you can feel it. Item is 4 7/8 inches tall 7 inches round a the top and for the bottom it is roughly 3 7/8 from outer edge to outer edge. No makers mark and not sure of its origin. Up for auction is a Vintage Cranberry Miniature Inverted Thumbprint Oil Lamp in the GWTW Style. This little lamp stands about 9 3/4" to the top of the chimney. The base is about 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" round. The chimney is 5" The top lampshade is about 3" high and 4 1/2" round. The top of the lampshade has been ground as well as the bottom of the shade. A heavy little piece that appears to be well made. The cranberry color is dark and rich looking. No chips or cracks with the exception being when the lamp was made the bottom of the top shade is rough where it was ground in one spot. An urn style cranberry marbled porcelain lamp featuring a vignette of a beautiful flower scene. The lamp itself is in good condition; no cracks chips or crazing. One scrap on paint see pic. The gold dotted trim around the vignette is a nice accent as well and has some ware. The base has an area that looks to be oxidized or worn. The lamp on/off switch is a little buggy but does turn off and on sometimes you have to rotate dial an extra turn to activate on or off.
