Vintage Mid Century Modern 1930's Russel Wright Art Deco Copper Table Lamp
For your perusal: A very rare 1930's Russel Wright Copper Lamp. It stands 22" tall and weighs 5 1/2 lbs. There are no dents. And the copper looks to be in great shape. It would shine up nicely(if that's the way you like it) but I'm selling the lamp the way I found it. The lamp has a switch problem so it needs to be rewired. In addition. If I was keeping it, I would purchase a new harp with a heigth that is about 2 inches less than the current height. I just feel it would look better aesthetically. I'm starting the bidding at $499. This old lamp is in good condition for its age with some surface scratches in random spots and will need a good cleaning. Lamp is made of a heavy plaster that is wrapped in a copper plating. I am not sure what the figures on the lamp stand for. Lamp has a great old gothic look to it. The 2 sockets are antique Peerless Patent Pending sockets. Only 1 of the sockets is currently working, the chain on the other one is stuck. Lamp measures about 26in. tall and base measures about 6 1/2in. square. VINTAGE BRADLEY & HUBBARD COPPER AND BRASS GRIFFIN LAMP ELECTRIFIED
This is a stunning. Vintage Bradley& Hubbard Oil Lamp which has been converted into an electrical Lamp. Main body appears to be comprised of copper and brass, the base is iron and the Griffins are an unknown metal. Lamp measures approximately 11 1/2" tall to the top of the Griffin's wings. And about 16" wide wing to wing. Condition is good with a wonderful aged patina. There is some rust on the iron base. The body of the lamp had a time worn, distressed finish with some verdi patina which can be seen clearly in the photos. This lamp is in working order, however, as with all of our vintage lighting, this piece is sold in as is condition, regardless if it is in need of repair or refurbishing. On offer is an outstanding cast iron/copper decorative table lamp in nautical'Galleon' style. This is not a table lamp that one could expect to read by. But on ahall table or in the corner of aroom it sets a wonderful mood. The bulp(here in red for maximum panache! is screwed in at the back. In fine condition. This beautiful circa 1912 bronze table lamp from a midwest estate is approx. 21" tall to the top of the finial by 6" in diameter at the base and is in excellent condition with no dents or loss to the fabulous mottled patina as shown. The cord is not original and the plug is taped so I am not keen on plugging it in. The original sockets are marked"Benjamin.Pat 4-23-12. There is a diamond mark on the bottom of the base as shown.very faint and easy to miss. This early lamp is one of the rare Heintz examples without silver overlay. There is no shade included. The lamp stands 55" tall to the top of the torchiere bulb base. The base is almost an 11" diameter. Clearly there is some considerable finish wear and some small dings, but overall the piece is solid and in working order.
