Estate Find ~ Vintage 40" Tall Capodimonte CAMEO Lamp Filigree Cherub Foot Base

A vintage Capodimonte lamp with two cameo faces(one on each side) and a filigree brass? metal base joined at each corner with cherubs and garland wreath work. This is a large size lamp measuring approx. 40-1/2" total height. The lamp without the finial measures about 37" high. To give you an idea of size on the porcelain part the width from handle to handle is approx. 10" the cameo face portion measures approx. 8" across. Measuring the base to the top of the porcelain is 20-3/4" without the brass stem and light fixture. I am not an expert on items we sell but I will describe what I see when I look at the item so you can put that information with the photos. I took several angles of the lamp so you could get ... morea good look at all sides. It's a beauty. Make sure you see them all. This is a striking lamp that would make any decorator drool. The Capodimonte center is all open work. The cameo portraits are one on the front and a different one on the back so you can change it around to suit your decorating needs. Each of the cameo portraits have what looks like a 24K gold background. The filigree has beautiful aged patina coloring and 4 cherub angel figures. Ready to use, just pick out a shade you like and your ready to plug this lamp in. The electrical cord is clean and unfrayed, the light works when plugged in. This lamp is very sturdy and nicely weighted so it will not easily tip over on your table. This is a quality made piece ~ take a look. Condition is very good. There are NO cracks or chips in the porcelain. The metal is not broken and has a lovely patina tone. The Cherubs have NO broken fingers or missing pieces! There may be dust from years of sitting at the estate on the table but nothing that you can't wipe off. The bottom has an old felt piece that is somewhat crumpled and worn. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Somewhat rare design, Capodimonte lamp. The lamp is petite in size and features an acanthus leaf, footed base with gilt, hexagon tile pattern. A STUNNING, ornate vase sits on the base(it is part of the base, not a separate piece) The vase features 3 cherub/putti; one on the front face, two on each side. The figures panels are framed in a gold gilt border with gilt acanthus leaf at the tops. The center, front panel is taller than the sides and features a gilt, shell topper. There are two rounded/curved sections that separate the front panel from the sides. These are adorned with gilt scrolls that cascade down each side. The vase is open and deep inside to house greenery. The light house section sits behind the vase. Pair of Vintage Capodimonte Italian Pierced Porcelain Table Lamps- Made in Italy Exquisite pair of Italian Capodimonte hand-painted table lamps. Each lamp is slightly different. But share the same design/motif. Each lamp features a regal majolica Rococo pierced porcelain body standing on an stately brass base with ornate filigree and four dolphin feet. The decoration is dominated by colorful pink. Violet, green floral motifs with gold embellishments. Included is harp and matching finial, no shades included. One lamp is slightly larger than the other, and their designs are slightly different. Nonetheless, the pair make a wonderful complimentary set and work well together. Each lamp has a"Made in Italy" marking, but I have not taken them apart to find the Capodimonte makers mark. The larger lamp measures 38" to the finial. 24" ... moreto the switch/knob, and has a 8.5" wide base. The smaller lamp measures 37" to the finial. 21" to the switch/knob, and has a 7" wide base. Antique or Vintage Capodimonte lamp. Hand painted porcelain and gilt with beautiful gold trims and embellishments. There are no cracks, chips,or damage in the porcelain! Notice the dolphin signature feet used in so many works of Italian art. This piece is reticulated and has new cord and fixture. The shade needs to be replaced by new owner. It is hallmarked inside the base(Capodimonte Italy in green) I could not get a picture of this,didn't want to take the lamp apart to do it. This was my Grandmother's lamp and I always remember her having it when visiting her as a young kid and I am 54 now, so I know it is vintage! Vintage Signed Mario Moretto Bassano Capodimonte Italian Lamp
HAND MADE- HAND PAINTED VINTAGE ITALIAN CERAMIC BASSANO- ITALY table lamp from 1980's( Mario Moretto Ceramiche Artistche Bassano Italy is known for some of the best and most beautiful handcrafted certamics in all of Italy. The lamp is approximately 16" high. The lamp shade is approximately 12 1/2" in diameter. The flowers are hand sculpted and handpainted and in beautiful condition. I see no chips or cracks on any of the flowers or anywhere else on the lamp EXCEPT for a chip on the shade as shown in the close-up picture. If there are minor defects. Beautiful Handpainted and Highly Detailed Porcelain Female Figurine Lamp by Capodimonte. The lamp is placed on a rounded square base finished in a smooth satin like white porcelain. With gold leaf accented scrolls adorning all 4 sides. There is some pink shading painted between the scroll forms. The lamp base is topped by a smaller rounded square porcelain piece with punched hole sides and intricate flowers and garland contouring the edge. Flowers of blue, red, and yellow are placed delicately on the highly formed/textured garland. The figurines base is designed similarly to the lamp base with more geometrically placed scrolls finished in gold leaf. The top is finished with the same punched hole sides adorned in gold leaf with a circular shaped top piece finished to look like a piece of ground/dirt with plants/leaves placed upon it. The figurine's ... morestance makes her look as though she was caught in motion; dancing. Bending down to pick up or drop the basket, or just working. She has a basket full of flowers resting on the ground to her left, while she is holding another basket of flowers between her and her right side, and a small bouquet in her left hand. The skirt part of her dress is also caught in motion. With the porcelain piece shaped to look as though it is raised on both sides, revealing a peach colored lining/slip. She is also sporting black shoes. The skirt has a textured white flower garland like design on the front with an oversized tied bow on the upper left side. The handpainted pink skirt also has gold leaf painted details. The top portion of her dress depicts a cinched waist and center button/ruffle strip extending from the square cut neck piece to the skirt. The top is painted in a pastel green/turquoise color with gold leaf accents on the chest/neck cut out, center button strip, and on both wrist collars. There is a small crack above the rim of the urn that the topiary is in but it most definitely looks like a firing flaw. There are some broken leaves but they aren't noticeable breaks. Vintage CAPODIMONTE Style Ceramic Cherub Night light/Table Lamp~Gold Trim ~ LOOK
Up for bid is this beautiful vintage Capodimonte style ceramic night light lamp. Beautifully made with 4 angels/cherubs and flowers all around. Lavishly gold painted. The lid comes off for easy lightbulb change. There are carved holes around the flowers and down those sections that are outlined in gold. It has a brass bottom with a push button switch. It is a nice light greenish cream color. The bottom is felt covered. I took lots of pictures including the few flaws it has: there is a mark on the base that seems to be on the surface. On the very bottom edge of the base there is a section where the brass has come off and bare metal is exposed. I also noticed a minute chip on the top of the finial so small I hadn't noticed until now. This auction is for one Vintage hanging lamp chandelier with a Capodimonte ceramic porcelain pierced shade with floral designs. Shade has blue and pink flowers and orange and gold decorations. It is 36" tall and 17" at the widest point. The ceramic shade is 12-1/2" wide and 7" tall. There is a metal tag on the inside that says Made in Italy. Lamp is made to work with a light switch and has origional wiring and four sockets. It needs to be re-wired. Some of the lamps paint is comming off the metal. The Royal Factory, which no longer exists, came to being when King Charles VII of Naples married Maria Amalia. She was the granddaughter of Augustus II, who in addition to being the King of Poland, also founded the first European hard paste porcelain factory in Meissen, Germany. King Charles developed a curiosity surrounding porcelain through his new wife’s family. This interest developed into a quite productive passion that led to many years of research and development before the Royal Factory actually came about. Once the formula for porcelain paste was perfected. Many skilled craftsmen and artisans, both men and women, worked to produce fine Capodimonte pieces. Beautiful Pair(Qty. 2) of Vintage Capodimonte Italian Porcelain Urn Lamps. Hand Painted, Swan Handles, Dolphin Footed, Brass Base. Made in Italy. The lamps do NOT have any chips or cracks. The only wear found on these hand painted porcelain lamps is shown in the last photo. A very small amount of gold has been worn off the back of one of the lamps but not noticeable under standard light. The brass bases are is good condition, as shown, but, do to the age, could possibly use a professional cleaning to bring back a high shine. These lamps have been tested and work perfectly; also. It is hallmarked on the bottom rear with the Capodimonte hallmark. It measures about 10 1/4" tall x 17 1/4" in length and 10 1/2" in width. The man dancing has one finger missing. Rare offering. Up for auction are three(3) vintage Capodimonte lamps- a matched pair plus a larger lamp that is coordinated with the pair- plus two pairs of shades(a total of 4 shades) All lamps have same color scheme and"go" together. Black. White, gold/gilt color scheme and pastel scenes with a cherub theme. Neutral colors go with most decors. Brass dolphin bases are the same for all three lamps. The pair are 18" high to the top of the light socket. Did not measure the tallest one. But from the first photo, you can see it is a few inches taller. The taller lamp is NOT an exact match with the smaller ones, but it definitely coordinates with them, has the same color scheme and overall design. The three may have been sold as a set(all 3 were purchased at the same time, probably in Boston's North End) These lamps come with ... more4 shades for you to mix-and-match: 2 white and 2 black. The white shades are a linen material. The black drum shades are a suede-like material. I have included photos of the larger and smaller lamps with each of the shades. The lamps look good with either shade, but you may need to buy different sized harps to suit your taste on where the shade sits relative to the lamp. These lamps have been together since the'60s. They probably should be rewired. Although they work just fine. The brass bases are missing the felt bottom. The brass has a nice vintage patina- it can be polished but I will leave that up to the new owner. Have always been in my family; good condition. No chips. Inside porcelain marked, numbered and signed Capodimonte Italy, measure 18 1/2 inch tall to top of where light would screw in; with original harps they measure 26 inches tall.Shades are new silk that go beautifully with the gold. Dolphin feet sit on the brass base which is detailed with etchings and cutouts. Non smoking home. I will be fair with shipping; price marked may be less; will not know until they are sold and boxed.

BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE & VERY RARE CAPODIMONTE PAIR OF PORCELAIN CHERUB ACCENT LAMPS
Pair of small antique accents lamps. I believe Capodimonte or Majolica porcelain with Cherubs. They measure 13" tall to the tops of the clip on shades. They seem to be all original with the exception of the cords and plugs. The sockets are ribbed brass, marked Alpine. The bases are cast metal that are painted gold. The original cloth covered wiring has been spliced onto newer cords under the bases. Both lamps are working and in good condition. They show normal signs of age, though there are no chips or damage. The clip on shades are in good shape, though do show light spots from handling. I have not cleaned the lamps or shades at all. Thanks for looking. Pair Vintage CAPODIMONTE Style Italy SIGNED Porcelain Lamp Serpent Foot
Offered for auction is this wonderful pair of matching capodimonte lamps. They are in Good used working condition. Very decorative, signed(Capocellin) and numbered(2121) inside. normal surface wear, and a foot missing on one lamp, does have some patina on the brass metal bases, could be polished up if preferred or great the way it is.They measure approx 35" tall from base to the top of the finials.
