Offered as is as found is an old Bradley and Hubbard slag lamp with heavy overlay shade. This is an early piece with that of the glass of Murano of italy and with the textured red really sets this off. Very colorful and dozens of pieces intricately placed into the detail of this piece. The base is marked B&H and has a leaf design and I don't know that the base is original to the piece or not. But does work beautifully as you can see. The lamp has a double light socket with acorn pull and the other socket appears to have been replaced as shown. All panels are intact and free on any cracks or breaks. This could use a good cleaning and polishing to remove any oxidation or residue. Please view photos for detail as well as condition. Offered as found. Will make a fine lamp with some tlc. Vintage Large Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp. The overall height of the lamp is 29 inches. The base is 9 inches wide. The globe is 19 inches wide and 11 inches high. The globe will need to be repaired. The glass is pulled away from the metal cap where it attaches at the very top of the shade. I have made inquiries and have been told that this can be repaired. I do not have an estimate on the repair cost. The base of the lamp shows signs of wear and use and age. It is not uncommon for this type of base to have the issues that this one has. The top cap. Which sits on the top of the glass shade has been broken. The replacement parts are available for this type lamp under $50.00 The coloring is really nice. Vintage Bradley- Hubbard Slag Glass 6 Panel Mission Arts Crafts Lamp
For your consideration is a" bradley-hubbard" antique/vintage slag glass shade Mission Arts Crafts Lamp Shade Monumental Overlay table lamp acorn final with heavy ornate overlay on the 6 panel caramel glass. The shade is very impressive and measuring 6-3/4" tall. It is being sold as is as found. It's a great tight shade but is bent a little they have been there for quite sometime you don't even notice them. and does have wear typical of age and use. But as you can see was remarkable preserved. There are no cracks in the panels.the bottom base is aluminum and 14-1/4 tall by 4-1/4 wide.This does need a good cleaning as there is quite a bit of paint old and dust on it. This is a stunning. Vintage Bradley& Hubbard Oil Lamp which has been converted into an electrical Lamp. Main body appears to be comprised of copper and brass, the base is iron and the Griffins are an unknown metal. Lamp measures approximately 11 1/2" tall to the top of the Griffin's wings. And about 16" wide wing to wing. Condition is good with a wonderful aged patina. There is some rust on the iron base. The body of the lamp had a time worn, distressed finish with some verdi patina which can be seen clearly in the photos. This lamp is in working order, however, as with all of our vintage lighting, this piece is sold in as is condition, regardless if it is in need of repair or refurbishing. I broke the aladin glass top so what you see is what you get. From what I have been told, it is made of brass with a nickel plating. It is labeled B& H in the middle-the wick goes around it.as the photo shows. I turned the know so you can see that it works.look at the wick! Vintage B&H Converted GWTW Lamp Lighting Parlor Victorian Bradley Hubbard This is a spectacular. Bradley& Hubbard converted oil lamp from the late 1800's/early 1900's. It has gorgeous hand painted globes featuring a victorian scene. Approximate measurements: 22" tall to the top of the chimney 6 1/2" wide 6 1/4" deep Base 6 1/4" wide Top globe 29 1/2" in circumference Bottom globe is 23 1/2" in circumference It is in good overall condition. However, the top/bottom edges of the top globe has rough spots. It does not take away from the beauty of the lamp and you can't see the edges when it's in place on it's perch. There is some discoloration on the base and it is slightly uneven. The cord has been replaced at some point. I do not know the age of the new cord, but it works. The lamp works ... morejust fine, it has a three way switch, you can turn on both top and bottom or just the top or just the bottom. You may want to have it rewired, just to be safe, if you are going to use it.
