You are bidding on a very rare signed Prof. G. Gambogi light. This piece is made from marble(at base) to the gypsy being alabaster. The four little figures holding the light are made of brass. It is made in Italy. The globe is not original to this piece. The family who owns this piece had it for 40 years and prior to her recieving this piece it was her fathers. And she remembers it from when she was young. This piece weighs about 40 to 45lbs, it has great detail, and constructed to last. It is more beautiful in person. I am not an expert, I have this out for appraisal, and to verify the signature, I took pictures and from the hx I got on this piece, I believe it to be the real deal, but you be the judge. The ht of this from base to top of her head 16" width of base is 8 1/2" and the length of base is 11" the thickness of the ... morebase is about 1 3/4" The statue itself is 14 1/2" to her feather. The lamps recently came from a very old estate with items going back to the early 1900s. The lamps are impressive at 21 inches tall. They have a classic Art Nouveau flowing organic design and give off a nice soft light. The lamps will need the hands of a restorer. They need taken apart and cleaned and then rewired. Vintage Pair Alabaster Marble Table Lamps for restoration
These are alabaster/ marble table lamps which are in need of restoration. They are at least 60 years old. But their age is not known. These lamps have not been used for a very long time. And the wiring certainly needs to be redone. The cords are old and frayed. The finials on the top of the harp are different so at least one must have been replaced. The sections seem to be out of order on one lamp; that can be set in order when the lamps are rewired. At one time there was felt at the bottoms, but that is gone. The height of the marble portions of the lamps is about 10 inches. With a 3 1/2 inch diameter of the base. The widest part also looks to be about 3 1/2 inches in diameter The harps are two different heights, one 8 inches, the other 10 inches, so at least one is not original.

Pair of Vintage Alabaster Accent Boudior Mantle Lamps Moorish Style
Up for auction is this wonderful vintage pair of alabaster accent. Boudior or mantle lamps. The Moorish style lamps, measuring 11 ½” high, have removable alabaster shades. They have a push button on/off switch under the shades. They have been rewired recently and work well. There is a hole in the top of each shade to keep the heat from the light bulb from building up. As with most vintage alabaster pieces, they have some small dings and areas of discoloration. The lines in the shades show internal fractures, typical of this stone. Each lamp weighs 4.5 pounds. The lamps will be shipped separately in large flat rate boxes. If your shipping location is close to New Jersey, I will use regular priority boxes. Vintage Neo-classical pair of Carved Alabaster or Marble Table Lamps Two lamps each measure approximately 20" tall to top of metal hardware and a total of 12" for the alabaster base. Bases measure approximately 4 1/4" square The electrical inner part of one lamp is missing. So only one lamp is working. One finial is missing. Alabaster is in very good to excellent condition. some wear to base corners. One tiny flea bite size chip on one lamp's bases edge. I don't see any damage to edges or curves. No cracks or chips. Large translucent alabaster clam shell lamp. Hard to tell if this was made from a single piece of stone or if the shell and base are two pieces with a seamless attachment. Most likely) The lamp works and the cord. Plug and switch are in good condition. No chips. Cracks or repairs. There are normal fissures and shading that you will find in any natural stone; in a piece of translucent alabaster this large it is almost expected. Uses a C7 bulb. Bulb will be included and replacements are readily available. Approximately 11 1/2" by 11 1/2" The base is 7 1/4" x 4 1/4" Photos include different color bulbs. Handmade in Italy. Very nice piece. This amazing set of lamps were acquired from a friend's grandmother. They are huge. Elegant and very hard-to-find in a set in such amazing condition. They do have very minor wear commensurate with their age, as evidenced by the cords. The lamps are in working order and are just beautiful. I've researched various sites of completed sales, and still haven't found a set as beautiful and large as this lamp set. This auction is a set of two(2) identical lamps. They measure 29.5" tall. Vintage- Antique Art Deco Carved'Alabaster/ Marble' Mantle Lamp circa 1920's- 1940's This item is from an estate and has been in storage for many years. This vintage i tem is in very good condition for its age. The lamp was tested to work as seen in the photos. The'alabaster/ marble' sculpture is clean and crack free. The base is in good condition it is however missing one of the 4 original matching feet. To make the item'even' I removed the third'odd' foot and replaced it with two I had(please see photos 11 and 12) They unfortunately are not as tall nor ornate as the originals hence the the'lean' in some of the pictures. I have packed the odd third foot as well as a set of matching new feet to ship with this lamp. Though the new feet are not as ornate. They are there to use as an option if ... moredesired. The lamp does has a'chip' it is located on the back- right hand back side. right hand side as you view from the front) may be viewed in photos# 7 and# 8 its about 3/4 distance from the base. I try my best to capture all the features and flaws of this antique lamp. Please be sure to use all the photos attached to evaluate this piece. I don't see any other noteworthy issues but I leave the final opinion with you. As such this item is sold'as is' The lamp does work fine and comes with an extra bulb as well as the hardware described above.
