Antique Vintage 1920's Vaseline? Green Slag Glass Akro Agate Houze Floor Lamp

We have 6 listed this week.My Great Uncle owned a lamp shop in DC for almost 50 years. From the late 30's until the early 80's. The lamps we have listed this week came from his estate. My aunt, his daughter, recently passed away and we took these parts from her attic. Her Dad had strung these parts in order on a piece of wire and had them hanging in his shop. After he passed my aunt brought them home and hung them in her attic. About 10 years ago she gave us a strand of these parts. We found a threaded pole here on ebay and took the pieces ... moreoff of the wire, sliding them down the pole in the order they came off of the wire and we have had a beautiful slag glass floor lamp ever since. My aunt has recently passed away and these parts came from her attic.This one has what looks to me to be a green vaseline type glass incorporated into its design one of which has chips as shown but the others are fine. The cast iron base and steel parts had been stripped of their paint and or plating years ago and they got rusty so I took my wire wheel and went over them but you'll still need to brush them again before painting however most of the prep work is done. The base is really rusty on the under side but I cleaned the threads up and they look fine. There are 2 matching brass tubes. I polished a small area of one of the tubes so you can see what they'll look like once cleaned up. I do not have any sockets and of course the pole is missing too but the threads in the base look fine. I laid these parts out in a line on the floor and as far as I can tell there are enough to make about a 54" tall lamp. Rod is not included. Thank you for viewing. Vintage 1920's/1930's Set/2 Shabby French Tole Candlestick Lamps Metal Flowers Offered for auction is a charming vintage pair of electric candlestick lamps circa 1920-1930's. Very French. The nicely burnished metal lamps have ornate bases that measure 4" square and enameled flower accents that still show a hint of their original pink color. They stand 13" high without the lightbulbs-with lightbulbs and shades, they measure almost 17" high. As you can see from my photos, they are in excellent working condition and do not need to be rewired. The lampshades are newer and not original to the lamps-the shades will come with the lamps as they work so well with them. Wonderfully shabby and perfect for the lover of romantic vintage! Vintage Antique 1920's Double Socket Lamp Base Miller? Pittsburgh? Parts Repair
This double socket lamp dates to the 1920's or thereabouts. Its either a Miller or a Pittsburgh. I've seen this same pattern that appears on the base of this lamp on other signed lamps. This one is marked on the base but is under the weight and I could not get the weight off nor can I see through the weight to see what it reads. Untested as the plug is missing but I see no reason why it wouldn't work as the pull chains snap crisply. The original paint on this one is in pretty nice condition but the vase shaped piece just above the base has 2 dents and the paint is scratched on that part. Up for sale is this unusual lamp. The lamp depicts a Japanese geisha. The piece is very heavy bronze and is signed on the base. I have attempted to get a photo of the mark. They look like Japanese characters so this may have been made in Japan. The piece has a great original patina and wear on the base helping to date this. As well as the vintage harp and finial. This leads me to believe that the lamp was made in the 1930's. It is in excellent condition, not cracks or dents etc. The lamp weighs over 10 pounds. I have owned this one for over 30 years. And the person I had purchased this from had owned it for about 10 years herself, and had purchased it from an estate sale/auction, some place in Rhode Island. This is the way I received it. So I do not know if the cord or metal stem are the original. I would say they may have been changed to fit the code of the newer outlets. The shade I purchased many years after I bought the lamp. Do not know the mfg. of this glass. But has yellowed ever so slightly over the years. Cannot feel or see any chips or cracks or fractures any place on this beautiful work of art. 1920's Vintage Floor Lamp Large Mahogany Base 3 light Tiffany Type Glass Shade
Fabulous. Unique piece of Vintage American Lighting. Original lamp base from the 1920's/30's GREAT GIFT IDEA! This floor lamp should be seen to get the full impact of the massive and unusual base. This is not the ordinary stick type floor lamp that you may have encountered in antique shops or s een in lighting collections from the early 1900's. Although the shade is not original to the base. The lines of it are a lovely compliment to the lines at the base of the lamp. The shade has a crown piece which may be used. But I prefer the look without it. A couple of minor flaws with the shade are noted. These are in the bottom row of the stained glass. One piece is cracked. But secure in its location. Two small triangular breaks in the glass have been repaired. These can be seen in the photos. They are secure in their place and only ... moredetectable upon close inspection. The widest circumference of the wood portion directly above the base is about 44" The lamp stands 5 1/2 feet tall and the diameter of the base is about 14" There are 3 light sockets. From base to top of harp is 34" From base to top of ceramic portion of lamp is 18" Base is 6"x6"x2-1/2" high. Ceramic portion sits on a bronze round base of 4'fish' Stylized flowers in mauve pink. Mossy green and white. I can see no signature or manufacturer. The metal harp and other elements show aging. It works, but wouldn't hurt to be rewired. Original cord. Because of size. antique or vintage peacock lamp lantern 1920 Art Decco Painted Glass working
For sale is a nice old peacock lamp. I don't know much about this item but will try to explain it the best I can. The lamp does work fine as seen in the photos but will be shipped without the bulb. I'm not sure how old this lamp is but appears to be around 1920's. It was purchased from an estate sale in upstate NY. The top piece and base might not be original to this item. From doing a little research I believe this was a hall lantern that someone rewired and put a base on. All three pieces of painted glass are in good condition. Some of the paint of the peacock's is wearing off the glass. This could be repainted by someone and look stunning. The main tin frame is in nice condition with some scratches. Up for consideration is fine pair Blue Opaline Glass Lamps in the form of Antique Argand Lamps. These lamps measures 26 inches tall by 5 inches wide. They were probably gilt at one time but most of that has worn. Likewise the wiring has been updated at one time and functions however they should probably should be updated. The cord is getting a bit stiff. No chips cracks or repairs to the glass. There is some distress to the thin brass edges to some of the pieces. The shades do not accompany the lamps. Have always been in my family; good condition. No chips. Inside porcelain marked, numbered and signed Capodimonte Italy, measure 18 1/2 inch tall to top of where light would screw in; with original harps they measure 26 inches tall.Shades are new silk that go beautifully with the gold.
