Stunning Vintage French Victorian Style Lamp Made of cast iron and bronze. This lamp makes an impressive statement. Bronze scrolling vines hold two tiers of crystals. One lower branch is missing two crystals. Measures 43.5" tall from base to the top of the finnial. Base is 9" wide. Shade is 20" wide and 15" tall. Holds two bulbs each with its own pull chain. Lovely Antique Victorian Cast Iron & Brass 2 Socket Floor Lamp ALMCO Chicago
This auction is for a Lovely Antique Double Socket Brass and Cast Iron Floor Lamp made by ALMCO Lamps of Chicago. I believe the lamp dates to circa 1920. It has great patina throughout the brass rods and stylized floral and scroll shaped accents. The base is made of cast iron and is highly molded and cast in a Victorian pattern as the photos show. The base has only the Very Beginning signs of surface rust. Which gives a great aged feel to the lamp. It still has its original ALMCO Lamps Chicago sticker on the bottom. The lamp is in very good condition. Especially for its age. The socket pull chains are of different lengths and there is a crack in the top cap of one socket(last photo) It won't be seen when a shade is in place. There are no other chips or cracks or dents or damage to the lamp and I have tested it and it works well. It needs ... morea finial. The lamp stands 60 inches tall.
