ANTIQUE BRONZE LAMP SHADE VICTORIAN LARGE RETICULATED BRONZE CHINESE MOTIF
This is a very large solid Bronze Shade. I estimate it to be from the mid eighteen hundreds to very early ninteen hundreds 1800's to 1900's. It has a lovely Acorn finial. It is carved and reticulated. It is missing a section of mounting wire underneath and parts of the rest of the wire are loose. It needs a little bit of work. The fringe insert fits in underneath and is still very lovely although not perfect. It has holes all around the bottom edge for beeds or crystals so I am not certain if the fringe went with it originally but it is yours included so you have options. Antique Victorian Adjustable Bridge Arm Bronze Brass Table Lamp Marble Base
This is a heavy antique Victorian adjustable bridge arm bronze or brass marble base table lamp. I would date it early 1900s. It's a very cool. Classy looking lamp. It measures 30 3/4 inches tall including the marble base(78 cm) The marble base is 1 1/8 inches thick and 6 inches wide in both directions(2.86 cm x 15.24cm) The arm measures 10 inches from the main rod to the shade holder(25.4 cm) It's adjustable on the main rod to bring the light higher and lower. And adjustable next to the socket to move the socket up or down. It may have been a banker's lamp with a green shade originally. That would look great. As you can see from the photos. It MUST be rewired. There is a chip on the corner of the marble which measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch high(2.54 cm by.64 cm) And a couple of other tiny flecks. Monumental Victorian Nouveau Bronze Patinated Spelter Figural Lady Newel Lamp
Offered for your consideration is a very large newel lamp of the finest quality formed by a neoclassical art nouveau lady lifting a vessel atop her head. From which 5 vines emerge with lighted flowers at their tips. She stands on a black wooden plinth. I suspect that the base metal is spelter, due to the weight, but perhaps it's bronze. The lamp is monumental in size, about 50 1/2" high by 16" wide. The piece is in remarkably good condition. It looks like portions of some leaves may be missing on the vines and around the sockets at the top. The only other possible flaw I see is a line across the base of the woman's toes on her left proper foot where they join her draped robe/gown. It may have been there from the time of casting. As it shows evidence of age. The wooden base shows a line from shrinkage over time, but is still ... morecompletely stable. The patination is lovely, with only minimal signs of wear, likely the result of a century of cleaning& polishing by previous owners. The wiring was recently professionally updated/replaced with fine silk cord and a new plug. I do not believe that the lamp originally had coordinating shades. Per se; I suspect that regular light bulbs were used. As its purpose was to provide useful illumination. The brass base is pressed with a distinctly art nouveau pattern with a beaded edge. The edge of the brass pressing is brightly polished with the remainder bronzed. The fluted bronzed column is punctuated by bands of polished brass and is finished with a heavy polished brass inset threading collar that connects with the pressed glass fonts screw fitting. This is an extremely rare high quality antique 19th century Victorian bronze oil lamp font. it is made from very thick solid bronze and is a very heavy font. it has acquired a wonderful patina from age and is a great design. it's extremely ornate with Victorian detailing throughout done in high relief. it has a spring loaded bronze knob on the side to control fluid and another to control the circular wick. it is made for a large lamp and in nice antique condition. the lamp is marked PD on the top. measures 16 3/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide. the cylindrical part on the bottom that would fit into a lamp measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches wide. it is an extremely high quality lamp. This is an extremely high quality 19th century antique Victorian gold gilded bronze and hand painted porcelain oil lamp made in Berlin. Germany. The body of the lamp is made out of thick porcelain and beautifully painted with an electric matte blue color. each side of the porcelain has nicely painted full body figures. they are done with a realistic approach and have very rich color. one is a female artist wearing a crown. Holding a paint brush in one hand and color palette in the other. the other is a male figure wearing a crown holding a hammer. the bottom of the porcelain body tapers inward and is also very nicely painted. the base is made from very thick gold gilded bronze and footed with 3 very large ornate claw feet. it has two detailed bronze ewer style handles with stylized lion faces on each side. the obscurely shaped font is also ... moremade from extremely thick gold gilded bronze and is a very heavy piece. it's also extremely detailed with a Victorian style and done in high relief. Brass band just above the bronze base has a crack as illustrated in photograph. This is a stunningly rare antique 19th century Victorian silver-plated bronze oil parlor lamp. It is made with an abundance of very intricate ornate detailing and is a very high quality lamp. it is made from a bronze with a silver-plated finish which has acquired a patina from age. it is beautifully footed with very intricate legs and has beautiful trim wrapping the whole body done in high relief. the two large handles have demonic faces on the tops and double ball ends. there are also two very detailed embossed scenes of winged cherubs riding deer on each side. it has the original silver-plated font which is equally as ornate with embossed stylized detailing. it has a burner with a circular wick inside and works nicely. the burner has a 3 armed mount which holds the large thick milk glass shade. the shade is a heavy piece and has many detailed ... morespread winged bald eagles done in high relief. it has a wavy rim at the top and has a clear glass flute shade on tyne inside. the lamp is in nice antique condition and measures 16 1/2 inches tall by 10 3/4 inches wide. very high quality lamp. Wonderful antique bronze victorian standing cherub lamp#1 of a pair early 1900s* This listing is for one lamp. see my other listings for#2. This is a beautiful antique table lamp which stands 17 inches high and is 6 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has an old brass pull chain socket with a fancy beaded glass pull on the chain. The fancy pierced brass shade ring is adorned with 33 strands of old fire polished bohemian crystals. The crystals have new brass bow tie connector pins. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot.
