The base measures approximately 18cm in diameter. The brass base is absolutly stunning with an Art Nouveau repousse acanthus leaf design to the column which supports the large brass font displaying the same pattern. A few minute little dings to the base and one tiny mark on the edge of the brass collar. Barely noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. The lamp is a Globe Vulcan center draft burner. It has a new replacement flame spreader. The shade gallery is in good order and supports the beautiful satin glass pale pink shade which is moulded with the same acanthus leaf design interspersed with daisy type flowers. This is a beautiful pair of victorian table lamps They are very ornate and are original the leaded glass/stained glass shades are in great shape with no visible breaks. the bases retain 975 of the original paint. one lamp does have a replacement cord on it the other has an older one that is not frayed and is still in usable shape. check out the pictures and you will see what fine examples these two lamps really are. the lamps stand 15 inches tall. Offered is an antique glass jewel chunk art nouveau brass shade with high relief. This is not a flimsy thin shade. Very heavy and extremely well made. This is really a beautiful piece sold as is as found. The glass has a rare opalescent stone along with red green, etc. 4 different colors. The shade is solid and very heavy. Large Figural Silver French Art Nouveau Victorian Newel Table Lamp Jewel Shades
Offered for your consideration is a fine silvered metal newel or table lamp formed by an art nouveau lady in a dramatic pose atop a graduated black marble plinth. I suspect that the base metal is spelter. Due to the weight, but perhaps it's pewter. The lamp is about 40" high by 18" wide and has three attached hammered silver shades with crimson red jeweled medallions at the tops and beautiful beaded fringe around the lower rims composed of a mixture of clear and red beads. The shades are suspended from typically Jugendstil whiplash floral sprays. The piece is in remarkably good condition; I see no evidence of cracks or repairs. The beaded fringe on the shades is completely intact, with no missing strands I can see. The silver plating is still very presentable, although of course there are some signs of wear, likely the result ... moreof a century of cleaning& polishing by previous owners. I have not polished the lamp in the years I've owned it, as I liked the patina. The pictures make the lamp appear slightly more golden than it looks in person. That is probably because the reflective surface is picking up the color from the wallpaper and carpeting in the rooms where I took the pictures. The wiring was updated/replaced at some point and is fine, as-is. I have been using it without fear or problems. If you are the winning bidder. I want you to be thrilled with the purchase. Vintage Art Nouveau Gooseneck Lily Pad Flower Lamp - Victorian
You are bidding on one beautiful art nouveau. Gooseneck lily pad flower lamp. This lamp is in very good shape and works well. I don't know the exact year of production. But in researching this piece, I've found it to be prominent in the 50's/60's. There are no manufacturer markings to aid me in further research. The lamp itself. I'm assuming, is bronze. It's in great shape with minor spots on the lily pad. There are two on the right side and a few dots scattered throughout. I guess that's pretty good for a lamp of this age. The lily pad shows the veins and is quite pretty. There is also a bud coming out of the pad and three unopened flowers. Any flaws are in the photographs so please look before bidding. The flower shade has a small spot where the metal spring clasps land on the inside. It is possible this can ... morebe removed but it does not deter from the beauty. Magnificent antique victorian/art nouveau era bronzed cherub table lamp early 1900s* This magnificent bronzed brass antique cherub lamp stands 23 inches high to the top of the finial and is 8 inches wide at the base. The elaborately styled mid-section of this lamp features four cherubs on a naturalistic background. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a very fancy metal pull on the end of the chain. The gorgeous pierced brass floral shade ring is decorated with 34 strands of crystal lustres. I put new brass bow tie connector pins on the crystals. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. I purchased this lamp at an antique store over 30 years ago. It has been used as a nightlight in my hallway during that time. Unfortunately. We are moving to a smaller home and some items have to go. This listing is for a beautiful antique table lamp. The lady is cast in metal that a magnet doesn't stick to so I think she's brass or aluminum. Don't know for sure. She's painted with an olive green dress with a gold sash and she's holding an apple. The base is also metal and again the magnet doesn't stick to it. The arms of the lamp are ornately done in cast metal that a magnet does sick to, they are a beige color and there are 3 arms with small size sockets and crystal glass candle cups. Hanging from the candle cups are 5 large hanging glass crystals with small crystals at the top. The sockets are covered with candle covers that have dripping gold wax design. Above the arms is a round cut glass crystal and a regular size socket with brass harp and crystal glass finial. It measures 25 in. to the top of the socket, ... more34 1/2 in. to the top of the harp and 9 1/4 in across the base. The base is done in gold, white and olive colors in an ornate feather design. The large center socket is a three-way and the small sockets have a switch that turns each on separately, one at a time until all three are on, very cool. The socket at the top has it's own switch. This is a fabulous piece and in great condition, no chips cracks or missing paint. The crystals look good as well. This listing is for the lamp only, not the shade. If you really want the shade, you would have to pay to have it shipped separately, most people want to get there own shade but you are welcome to it if you want it. Antique Unusual Art Nouveau High Victorian Large Leaded Glass Lamp. Very Fine, Here is a an unusual Art Nouveau leaded glass lamp. This is a fine example of high Victorian. I have not seen this lamp before. And do not know which company created this. It is gorgeous if you admire the style. The highly ornate base has copper extensions that connect with the shade with screws. The lamp is large with the shade measuring 18 inches across and about 28 inches high. The condition is very good. There are just a couple of leaded pieces that show minor separation from the lead; this is pictured. There may be a piece or two of glass with the usual stress crack. The finial has amethyst glass crystals; the top amethyst crystal is in place but not tightly. I have not found a company mark on the shade or base. Please email with questions.
