The cornucopia vase fits into a metal ram's head mount which is screwed onto a marble base. Great detail in the ram's head. The bottom of one of the marble bases is rough around the screws(see last photo) Good condition otherwise. No cracks or chips to the glass though there are some hard water stains down at the bottom of each vase. The marble base measures 5-1/2" by 3-1/8" the vase including the base stands 7-3/8" tall. Metal Vases Marked Fine Arts Japan with Mount Fuji & Japanese Scenery
Offered for your consideration are a pair of black metal vases marked FINE ARTS JAPAN on the bottom. A dear friend’s mother passed away and she has asked me to sell a few things for her. These measure 6-1/4 inches tall and about 3-1/2 inches across the widest place. There are a few light scratches in the black finish but no dents or dings. Something is on the lower part of these. If I was to scrape lightly with my fingernail it would come off. I did not scrub them as I am unsure what this finish is and did not want to harm it, I just washed them with mild soap and water. The scene on each is engraved into the metal and is Mount Fuji and a dwelling along the side of a mountain. They were made to be a pair as the dwelling on one is to the right and on the other it is to the left. But one has what looks like the Mount Clemens mark on top as well. Each is 6 3/4 inches tall with a base that's 3 3/4 inches across and a mouth that measures about 3 5/8 inches across.
