This is an old antique 1920s era gold gilt brass with white enamel highlights bedroom lamp with lavender. Pink and yellow porcelain china floral roses. The lamp is 11 1/4" by 9" with a 4 1/2" by 4 1/2" base. The gold finish is nice. The lamp has its old original cord and is missing its lamp shade. The pink rose back top petal has a chip. VINTAGE PAIR FRENCH CRYSTAL PORCELAIN ROSES BOUDOIR VANITY TABLE LAMP LIGHT
This is an old antique 1920s to 1930s era pair of glass etched lamps with porcelain china roses. Each lamp is 3 1/2" across base and 17" tall with light bulb inside. They have cream color older shades that are very plain and are 10" by 8" Each lamp has a pink and white china rose. Each lamp is missing a china rose and one lamp has a 1/8" chip on a facet that I did not notice till now. See closeup. They have beautiful roses and a classic leaf style design on the base. Do not ask me why the sockets are different color. The shades will hide that anyway. This is a lovely lamp set and looks great on display. They cam from a fabulous estate that was all done in French. This is a Beautiful Roaring 20's vanity or night table lamp. This beautiful lady is dressed like a Flapper from the 1920's. I think she is porcelain. The light shines through the slits in her eyes and from the back where the bulb goes. There is green felt on the bottom. I do not have a lot of information on her. I do not know who made her or her exact age. Her headdress is grayish-green in color and her blouse/top is brown. See the pictures for the color details. Vintage Victorian Porcelain Lamp; Bedside, Desk, Vanity, Powder Room
This dainty little porcelain lamp is a beauty. It came from the estate of a Victorian lady's boudoir. Circa mid 1930s. Even though that is later than the Victorian era, I understand from the family she was truly a Victorian Lady! The porcelain lamp is in near pristine condition and the only flaws I can find are a couple of areas of almost microscopic paint loss on the gold gilt"handles" The base appears to be brass with heavy patina at first glance but I think it may be made of iron or some other heavy metal. The lamp works and has what appears to be the original cloth covered wire which is in good condition. The plug is Leviton and is. I believe, Bakelite. The bulb receptacle, made by Eagle, appears to be a replacement. The harp is missing and there is no shade. It has a raised decoration with swags of flowers and the original pull chain socket that is the size of a night light bulb. Vintage French Boudoir or Vanity Lamp Porcelain & Brass: Ballerina, Mint
This lovely French ballerina lamp is in mint condition and would be glorious in a French Country boudoir. It is petite: about 9-5/8" tall to the top of the socket and about 3-1/4" across the base. It is stamped on the underside of the base"Made in France" but gives no additional information. I found this gorgeous piece last weekend at an estate sale among some ordinary kitchen glassware and it is amazing that it is completely undamaged. The yellow rose and the girl are porcelain. The girl is made in exceptional detail with each tiny finger and each of the blooms in her bouquet so perfectly formed. Her tutu. I believe, is made of actual lace then treated with some protective substance. All of the porcelain is white except for the bodice of her dress, her hair and facial features, the bouquet, her slippers and two gold bands ... moreat the bottom of the figure which are hand painted. I am 99% certain that all the metal pieces are brass. The gold leaves and one yellow rose are the final touches needed to make this so typically French. The gold colored cord is cloth. In excellent condition and appears to be original to the lamp. The lamp works but since it is circa 1940s I am not sure it's safe by today's standards. There is no shade. This is a wonderful estate find and is being sold as is. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking. Vintage Boudoir Vanity Lamp: Pottery, Porcelain, Marble, Cream Color, Unusual
Although I think this little lamp was originally a vanity lamp. It would be adorable almost anywhere especially a bathroom or baby's room. It came from an estate where many of the pieces dated to as early as the late 1800s but I am guessing this is circa 1920s-1930s. It is small, only measuring about 9-1/8" to the top of the bulb receptacle. The footed stepped base is 4" square. I find this lamp particularly unusual in that the hollow base seems to be ceramic, or pottery; the round top with raised star designs around the circumference, porcelain and the small decorative donut shaped piece in the middle is, I think, marble. The metal parts look like brass but are not. They are likely iron. The cloth cord and plug are the originals. I would consider it dangerous to even plug it in so it obviously has not been tested and needs ... morerewiring. There is heavy crazing. Most notable on the base but it almost looks like a pattern. There are also what I would call"crackles" four on the base, one obvious one on the ball and other less noticeable ones. They are not cracks but almost look like it. They add character and charm to this almost century old sweet little piece but some people may not appreciate that look. This is an estate piece being sold as is. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking. Fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets. To avoid the expense of shipping. This lamp has no damage to the metal or the porcelain. As with all vintage and antique lamps I firmly believe they should be rewired. I don't know if these have already been rewired or not. Found at an estate auction: here is a charming old boudoir lamp(precise age unknown) with a blue frosted glass base and shade. The four sides of the shade have been hand-painted in reverse(from the inside) with with various simple landscapes. And the base is painted as well. Antique French Gold Gilt Bronze? Tole Boudoir Vanity Lamp 11" Gorgeous Ornate
Gorgeous antique lamp. Gold gilt over bronze( I believe bronze, not 100% sure) two pink flowers with leaf decoration. Lamp is in excellent condition for its age, measuring 11" tall not including a bulb. There is no shade. The switch works fine( I tested with a bulb) and the extra long cord although older, seems to be in great shape but always safest to have antique lamps checked by a lighting expert. Original pink and gold gilt paint is mostly intact, some minor small flakes here and there due to age. Flowers are some type of metal not porcelain which is often seen.

ANT VANITY LAMP. Cut & Etched Glass Perfume Bottle Base Marked CZECHOSLAVAKIA. 1
This is one of two(pair) identical lamps available. Being sold separately. A stunningly lovely, unusual use of a large, large, that is, for a perfume bottle, crystal perfume bottle as a base for a vanity lamp. They would work well as a pair, but one stands alone very well. It's clear from the age of the brass hardware that the the conversion to a lamp was done in the thirties or forties. It's also clear that for safety, a new cord with a second switch has been added. The original, silk-wrapped cord had become brittle and frayed, the new owner will be the beneficiary of the time and expense to update the lamp with modern wiring. The appropriate size shade was located and included. The clip on the shade fits a smaller size bulb with a regular socket size, one is included to get you started. The base is clear, heavy, etched and cut crystal ... morethat tends to take on ambient color. At first, I thought the glass had a pinkish hue, but it turned out to be the velvet runner under the lamp. The crystal bottle was not drilled destroying the integrity of the bottle. Czechoslovakia" is engraved on the bottom. AGE WEAR on the bottom is proof that the bottle base is VERY ANTIQUE. The off white shades are quality. Cloth, lined with cloth, not plastic. I made the best use possible use of the 12 photographs, there were many possible views. Please ask questions if you need more information or more photos. Measurements: the diameter of the bottle base is approx 4 1/4" at the widest. It's a well balanced 4 1/4" high, a perfect sphere. The shade is approx 4 1/4" high, 3" across the top and 6" across the bottom. With the lamp shade clipped on the bulb, the lamp is 11" tall. CONDITION: the crystal base is in excellent condition, not drilled, the shade is new, the cord with switch is new. In making the photos, I saw a storage mark on the shade, too light for a photograph.
