Rare Antique Unusual Signed Bavoux Adjustable Brass Student Oil Lamp France
This is a great brass signed. Bavoux" on bottom of base and on tank cap) antique oil lamp. Also marked(not sure this is accurate) Brevet Dinven Et Perfection. Sans Gar Du Gouter. J.B.X. on piece which extends out to burner. Unusual design. Stands 16 3/8" tall. Very good condition. There appears to be 2 repair as shown one where teh burner extension piece attaches to tank and the back of the tank. The back of tank repair appears to have a small hole in the repair. Finger loop at top appears to be misshapen but may just be crudely designed. Screw-on tank cap moves freely as do height adjustment lever and wick adjustment. No wick. this floor lamp needs to be rewired. No wiring. it also needs 2 sockets. there is 2 spikes on the bridge bar for attaching socket. there is also a center spot for attaching a finial. it needs to be sanded and repainted. it has been paint an orange color years ago. the center rod piece has a crackline in it, this can be removed or repaired. the top bar is 7.5 in. wide, the pole is 44.5 in. tall, the base is square and 8.5 in. wide with 4 footed tips. the center piece is 2.5 in. wide and 3.5 in. tall. the base says 100B salem bros. n.y. and then there is a symbol mark? this will be taken apart for shipping. it can be screwed back together easily in 2 spots, the top and the bottom. view my other lamp listings. can combine shipping.

This is an item you don’t see very often: It’s a brass embossed pole lamp in art deco style. With green onyx on the base, the shaft, the ... morebottom and the top. What’s really unusual is that it had two ashtrays in the center, along with a cigarette case and an electric lighter that sits upon a brass embossed shelf. There are two holes, and I’m not sure what they’re for, whether something is missing or whether it’s the design. It needs to be rewired of course, and there are two sockets on top. It has the original finial but needs a shade. The shelf size is 13 inches wide by 9 inches deep. The height from the floor to the shelf is 27 inches, and the height to the finial is 61 inches. The brass shaft starts down from a plain brass rod down to an embossed rod, into an onyx hood, more reeded brass embossed rod, then and unusual fluted tapered onyx piece of shaft then the smoking tray, and then below that, more onyx with the stepup base with the art deco design, and that base is probably metal rather than brass. It appears to be all there except for the shade, and remember that it does have to be rewired. You’d really have a difficult time finding another piece like this unique and dramatic lamp. UNUSUAL ANTIQUE SLAG GLASS FILIGREE HANGING ART DECO NOUVEAU LAMP LIGHT SWAG
Up for auction is an antique hanging 4 panel slag glass cast lamp with filigree. The lamp has 4 curved and tapered panels. All in excellent condition, no cracks or repairs. Each varies in color. The lamp measures 13" long X 6" across at the top. The lamp will need a simple rewiring, it is not currently working. There is some tarnish/pitting on one side of the fixture as this was probably hung outdoors on a porch. The chain that is currently attached is about 10" long. Vintage Awesome Antique Silver metal Aladdin’s Lamp This is a vintage silver-toned metal“lamp” that looks like an“Aladdin’s Lamp” This item came from an estate sale that I went to back in the early‘90’s(and this lamp looked like it already had been around for many years at that point) I could not find any artisan name. Hallmark or any other identification or information on the lamp itself. To me, it looks like it may have been made in Turkey or parts there-about. Here is an unusual Antique Milk Glass Lamp Shade or Vase cast with Repousse rose buds. It is about 6" by 6" with about 1 1/2" diameter opening for bulb and glass base of just under 2 3/4" for fit. The cast milk glass has a slight greenish tint. The original intent for this item was a vase and was manufactured as such I understand. But it makes such a nice lamp shade! The top is flat so can use for wall or drop fixture. There are two small nicks that have been repaired. Otherwise no damage. Extremely unusual converted oil lamp with a beautiful custard glass shade and wrought iron base. 19" tall antique table lamp. 12" wide. The lamp is unsigned. Good wiring. Lamp looks spectacular both lit and unlit. The glass shade is in beautiful shape with only a few flea bites along the bottom rim. The shade is mostly reverse painted but the is also some obverse painting. The small nicks can't be seen when the shade is in the 10" fitter. The base is also in great shape. UNUSUAL ANTIQUE LAMP WITH TWO TONE METAL DESIGN & GORGEOUS MICA SHADE
GORGEOUS ANTIQUE INLAID METAL LAMP WITH MICA SHADE This lamp with its matching mica shade is all original and it dates from around the 1920's to the 1930's and has a very stylish design! The lamp base has a lacquered finish that has quite a bit of wear and has deteriorated. It also shows some rust coming through. The base is made to look inlaid but I think it is some type of stained process. I am not really sure how that was made or what would happen if the deteriorated lacquer was cleaned up. The shade has 6 panels that are very dark and dirty from age and a few spots show pealing but all the panels are in good solid condition with no breaks or damage. The lamp has a nice Art Deco finial that is made of iron. This lamp measures 25" high by 16" wide in diameter. A wonderful lamp to add to your home decor! Thanks for looking.

This is an interesting antique electric hanging hall fixture. It is made of hand worked brass and rippled opalescent slag glass. The brass frame is 6 sided.The brass frame is 11 1/4" across at the corners. Each brass side measures 6" wide x 4 3/4" high and each side has one panel of rippled opalescent slag glass.Underneath there is a dramatic 10 1/4" high inverted cone with 4 beaded brass vertical supports.There is a opening at the bottom of the cone measuring approx. 7/8" in diameter. From the bottom edge of the brass frame hang approx. 48- 2 piece glass prisms. The frame is suspended by 4 chains from a vertical shaft with 4 hooks for fastening. At the bottom of the shaft is the light bulb and at the top the shaft is connected by a length of brass chain to the ceiling canopy.The 4 hook assembly from which the 4 small ... morechains attach is adjustable up and down to accommodate various bulb sizes. As the lamp is hung now it measures approx. 40 1/2" from the ceiling. I do not know the maker of this lamp but I believe it dates to the 1890's- 1900. It is in very good condition. I am offering AN UNUSUAL SMALL ANTIQUE OIL LAMP WHICH IS MOUNTED ON AN ORNATE FOOTED BRASS BASE. The fount of the lamp is swirl painted on the inside. I originally thought it was oil residue. However, it is not- its painted. There are no makers marks or indications of country of origin. The lamp has its original burner marked"Made In USA" It also has what appears to be its original amber orange colored chimney. It does not have a shade. I have never seen another oil lamp like this one. Condition: Very good- some light oxidation on the brass. A small separation noted on the brass collar that mounts the font. The lamp is quite sturdy. Antique vintage table lamp swivel sockets unusual and unique
Found this in the basement of an old inn here in the great smoky mountains. Looks like it was there awhile. Can't say I've ever seen anything quite like it. Both the sockets swivel as you can see in the pics, but they tighten to lock position. The paint is in poor condition and there is quite a bit of rust. The shades should probably be trashed but you may know a way to clean them up. It does work though and it stands about 21 inches tall and about 24 inches wide, shade to shade, only about 6 inches deep.

This sweet smaller GWTW Parlor lamp has unusual fruit decoration.a basket full of black cherries.or plums? While unmarked. It was most likely made by Fostoria/Consolidated. It measures 16 3/8" to the top of the ball shade, with the ball shade alone measuring 7" tall. The shade retains its original heat ring and the fitter edge has only the usual tiny minor flakes from being taken on and off the lamp for many years.mostly on the inside edge and not visible on the outside. There is a small flaw near the heat ring on top of the shade.I provided two photos of this spot.a very shallow flake.perhaps a factory flaw. Unfortunately the glass font/base was drilled to accept an electrical cord. This is a used upcycled lamp base found at a thrift store. I created the shade using paper. Wire, beads, charms(some vintage, some not) It has a shabby distressed look. This is one of a kind, no one else will have one. It is truly unique and goes well with almost any decor as it is definitely a conversation piece. It measures approx. 44" x 39" with an 8 1/2" pyramid shaped base, and it is solid brass. There is a pyramid shaped lamp on one end, and the other end has a weight on it. There is a sliding foot control. The lamp has a nice patina or it could be polished a bright brass again. It does need a new light bulb. I apologize for the poor pictures. UNUSUAL ANTIQUE REVERSE PAINTED SQUARE GLASS RIBBON SHADE ART NOUVEAU TABLE LAMP

Reverse painted lamp shades became popular around 1890-1910. The art of reverse painting can be traced back centuries. Particularly in Renaissance Italy where the process was admired and utilized to produce miniatures of religious subjects. As time moved on artisans from Austria and Poland perfected this skill, and some of those artisans were amongst the millions of immigrants who came to the United States in the late 1800's. The art of the reverse painted lamp shade became extremely popular in the United States. There were several distinguished companies that are generally associated with this process. Manufacturers such as Pairpoint. Handel, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, and Jefferson created beautiful ... morelamps in their time. THE LISTED LAMP: There is no makers mark found on this lamp. When lit it gives off a beautiful multi-colored glow. Highlighted by the pink ribbon drapery effect around the shade's corners and edges. Each of the four sides of the shade are different depictions of people engaged in different activities. The lamp itself is cast metal that has been finished in a brass color. The lamp measures 21" to the top of the finial. The shade is 13 1/4" square at the bottom corners. And it is about 6 1/4" high from the center of the bottom"drapes. And about 4 7/8" high at the corners. The lamp and shade combined weigh 12.0 pounds. CONDITION: There is some brass finish loss to the lamp. And a tiny crack in the pole metal as seen in photograph# 9. This does not affect the stability of the piece at all and it cannot be seen unless the shade is taken off and one looks very close. The shade is in good condition with no cracks. There is a little roughness to the under edges of the shade as seen in the last photograph. And a very small chip under one corner as seen in photograph# 11. The camera makes it look pronounced but one really has to look close

Antique Unusual Art Nouveau High Victorian Large Leaded Glass Lamp. Very Fine, Here is a an unusual Art Nouveau leaded glass lamp. This is a fine example of high Victorian. I have not seen this lamp before. And do not know which company created this. It is gorgeous if you admire the style. The highly ornate base has copper extensions that connect with the shade with screws. The lamp is large with the shade measuring 18 inches across and about 28 inches high. The condition is very good. There are just a couple of leaded pieces that show minor separation from the lead; this is pictured. There may be a piece or two of glass with the usual stress crack. The finial has amethyst glass crystals; the top amethyst crystal is in place but not tightly. I have not found a company mark on the shade or base. Please email with questions. Unusual and rare Uviarc Sunshine Lamp Antique Claw Foot Tanning Lamp 1910-11
This very early electric tanning lamp would have housed a mercury bulb for getting a sun tan without the sun. It would make a wonderful adjustable floor lamp. The top has four original frosted glass panes with two open panels for tanning. The top flips down 90 degrees making it perfect for over a table. The pole can be adjusted to change the overall height. The base is 50 lbs and the claw feet are lovely. I have never seen another like it for sale. The height as seen is 61 1/2 inches but it is adjustable. The base is 12 inches wide. Please ask questions. This is over 100 years old and is being sold as-is condition. RARE& UNUSUAL because of the BELL READING LIGHT' that hangs down below the 4 bulb Candelabra Torchiere. There is a total of 5 lights on the Floor lamp, There are 4 switches, one switch for the Bell Reading light, 1 switch is a 3 way for the top 3 lights and switches it from 1,2 or 3 lights, then a switch for the top center light and then a Toggle switch to turn all the power off or on to all the switches, it does work and all the switches and lights work as they should, the cord has a few places that are freyed with some of the wire showing, so it should be replaced, but it does work, the wiring is all original and you may or may not want to replace and upgrade for safety purpose because of the age, the Base is showing paint loss and some rust on a thin metal ring around the middle of the Cast Iron Heavy base, some scuffs and chips ... morehere and there and you may want to Repaint this, it will be a great Restoration project for that Snow day you cant go to work, ive restored Dozens and you can do this in One day, actually about 4 hours, all the material for wiring and painting you can get at the local Lowes Stores, Restored this lamp would easily bring $300 dollars and maybe more, buy mine Cheap and restore it yourself and save, remember, It does work and is Very Unusual and RARE with the Bell Light, also, the Bell Pivets in different directions, the lamp is 57'inches tall and weighs in at 10 lbs.
