this is a vintage Tiffa Mini lamp base. it is a metal lamp base that is shaped like the trunk of a tree. The lamp base is 8 inches not counting the bulb holder. With the holder it stands 10 inches. there is no shade. Its in the arts and crafts style and i think its generally used with a stained glass shade. It is marked Tiffa-Mini on it. it works fine and is in good condition. There a few knicks in the paint finish. It is kind of a mauve color. A great looking piece!

Antique Bronze Lamp Base Louis Majorelle ? Twisted Tree Trunk 3 Leaf Clovers
Note: I'm not an expert in this area but was told that this lamp base possibly could have been an early piece by Louis Majorelle.I was told 3 Leaf Clovers or symbols were a hallmark of his and the Details of the lamp point to his earlier work.Although I have made no attempt to clean the lamp and it has a very old patina I was also told the'Gold Wash' was probably alot brighter and more pronounced originally.Bid on what you see- personally I don't think the photos do it justice.and if not by Louis Majorelle- it certainly is still a stunning Antique Art Nouveau Lamp- with the right shades it would be stunning.No Reserve Auction.
