This is a hand made cut lead leaded bent glass. Antique hanging slag glass bent panel lamp. Not one of the oldest I've seen but a stunning Tiffany style panel design 1950- 1960. Stunning carousel with a scalloped edge. Tiffany glass style swag hanging lamp measures 15" Wide and 12" Tall. This is a original lamp. The reason the cord and chain is missing is because the chain was rusty and the cord was old and cracked. This light has 12 panels on each row all but the top and it has 8 panels. The metal lamp shade is composed of six panels each with a Japanese or Chinese style cartouche depicting a scene with Asian figures among trees. The metal is painted off white with darker areas on the highlights. The glass is in shades of Blue. Pink, and purple. The base has the initials ML CO and 240. This is why we believe it might be by the Miller Lamp Company. ANTIQUE TIFFANY STYLE SLAG STAINED GLASS HANGING LAMP 1910-1930
This original antique(1900-1920) stained glass hanging lamp was once a chandelier. It has been re-wired as a hanging lamp. From our research it appears to have been made by Chicago Mosaic Shade Co. The colors of the of the flowers and leaves are NOT faded and the lamp is beautiful. It stands 16 inches tall and measures 22 1/2 inches across at the bottom. The lamp has two sockets and it works great. It is sometimes described as a slag lamp. I will not ship this antique lamp because the glass is delicate and it is very heavy(40-50 lbs) If you buy it you must pick it up in Albuquerque. New Mexico. I offer a two week return policy. The Tiffany style lamp has a shade made of slag glass and the lamp itself is cast metal(I am not sure of the type) There are no markings. This is not a reproduction. This lamp was purchased in an antique store in approximately 1974. So it is AT LEAST 40 years old. This lamp is very heavy and solid. The shade sets solidly on the unique shade-holder. The beautiful design on the shade has an art-deco quality about it. One panel in the shade has a long crack in it(see photos) This crack was there when the lamp was purchased. The crack is not noticeable when the lamp is off but is more noticeable when turned on. However. This panel can easily be turned toward the wall if necessary. Antique Cast Metal Lamp BASE 2 socket Art Nouveau Tiffany Stained Glass style
This antique lamp is OUTSTANDING! Out of the depths of my parents basement- cast metal NOT A REPRODUCTION. This piece is stunning and I am sure it was orignally purchased to become one of my mothers bases for her stained glass shade making hobby. I cannot find a makers mark on it but it just screams quality! Has a Art Nouveau look to it and I did find that one of the sockets is marked BEAVER and dated with a patent of Oct. 11. 1921- pictures will reveal that at some point in time one of the sockets has been replaced with a newer one. It has a dark gold tone color to it. The base is decorative as well as the column- the column has pretty oval"frames" on it with a bow and swooping design. There is also a bit of a floral design to it as well- hard to describe but STUNNING! There is some high point edge wear to the piece. You will also ... morenotice there is some scuffing to the top part just before the two sockets. Two pull chains with tulip ends. Base does show some darkening in spots- great patina? It has its original metal cord that is wrapped. I am NOT SURE if it is missing a part on the top or not- will let you experts decide that- it does have what I will call a finial which is pictured. All in all a GREAT ANTIQUE PIECE. Measures21 1/4" from base bottom to top of inial- base is prox. 8 3/4" wide. IT IS A heavy piece weight is prox. 9 pounds UNBOXED. A great piece-will be stunning with a stained glass,slag glass or reverse painted shade on it. I did put two bulbs in it and it works fine. Up for auction is a gorgeous vintage 1960's Tiffany style hanging ceiling light with wonderful slag glass lime green and orange sherbet panels. Each panel is in excellent original condition with no chips or cracks. There is a large glass light diffuser ball underneath. Nice matching glass crown at the top with an ornate stamped pattern in the metal. The glass is a ripple pattern glass that adds to the lighting effect. Note: The colors are so much nicer in person. This is a very cheerful 60's fixture. Photos are taken at night and are darker than the fixture really is. Imagine nice bright colorful sherbet lime and orange. That is what you get. RARE TIFFANY STYLE STAINED ART GLASS TABLE LAMP~"DOGWOOD" ON JACOBS LADDER BASE
WELCOME TO MY EBAY! OFFERED is a magnificent and stunning Stained Art Glass"DOGWOOD" cone shaped style shade on a"JACOBS LADDER" base. The rare SHADE is artfully handcrafted with hand-rolled art glass with a beaded rim. It depicts a bouquet of dogwood flowers using high quality art glass that brings out the beautiful dogwood flowers and leaves. The shade measures 28" in width and 11" in height. The colors include mottled glass of pink(light and dark) White, some blue and greens. NO chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Please note the shade is shown with a pigtail cap. I am also offering the acorn cap(refer to pictures) and will deduct $100.00 from the bin or offer price, if purchased with the acorn cap. The shade rest on a"JACOBS LADDER" base that is solid heavy casted brass with a rich bronze finish. ... moreIt is adjustable to approximately 32" to 44" in height and has a three light flat turn key cluster. Pigtail cap, and maximum wattage of 60 watts each socket and is in excellent condition. This gorgeous table lamp is considered a work of art with many pieces of beautiful art glass. It will certainly be a wonderful addition to your room. It would also be a great collectible lamp for a stained glass collector. PLEASE NOTE: This shade. In my opinion, is a very hard mold pattern to find. I haven't been able to locate this shade or pattern anywhere. I have had this shade in my collection for many years. If any ebayer has any information on this, please email me as I have had a couple of people requesting a mold for this shade. The shade and base combination is of superb museum quality. It is extremely rare and very hard to find in today's market. PLEASE NOTE: I have searched ebay and the internet and couldn't find a 28" Dogwood shade for sale. The only 28" Dogwood(original) I found was a chandelier style at Sotheby's on 12/17/09 at auction and sold for $290.500.00. To the best of my knowledge, there is no mold available for this shade. 60's Vintage Stained Cut Slag Glass Brass Tiffany Style Hanging Ceiling Lamp This is a tested and working OLD VINTAGE hanging slag glass TIFFANY style lamp. The lamp comes with NO plug. It needs a plug, and as it is a used old lamp, it has age related wear that has created this EXCELLENT PATINA. The Lamp has NO damages whatsoever on it; NO Chips. NO Cracks, NO fleabites! Used but in EXCELLENT Condition with NO plug. Complete Rewiring Recommended. The lamp comes with all the installation accessories. Up for auction is a gorgeous vintage 1950's Tiffany style hanging ceiling light with wonderful swag glass raspberry. Cream and orange panels. The effect is swirling slag glass colors creating an overall dusty rose color. Each panel is in excellent original condition with no chips or cracks. There is a large glass light diffuser ball underneath. Nice matching glass crown at the top. Measures 12" diameter across bottom and 6" diameter on top. Chain is approx 113" from plug to top of light. Here is an excellent example of the vintage Tiffany style swag glass ceiling light! Perfect for a kitchen or breakfast nook.
