We are pleased to offer this interesting. Antique to older vintage, Greek Revival table lamp. The lamp is a cast composite which looks like natural stone. It is pitted with a realist variance of colors as is common with limestone. The lamp features a large"carved" bust of a Greek or Roman(Mars? god of war/warrior. The human face likeness is fantastic. The warrior has a VERY ORNATE AND DETAILED helmet which is embossed with mythological creatures. There are centaurs(half man half lion) and griffins. There is also a"distressed" female figure on each anterior side of the helmet. This is a very unique, very detailed lamp. It is in very good antique to vintage condition. This is a beautiful kerosene lamp. There is alot of detailing in the brass with added stone bass. There has been no conversion to electric on this lamp. They just need socket covers which are very inexpensive and can be purchased at any lighting store. the shaft is made from an extremely large cylinder shaped piece of onyx which has great color. Hi. Up for sale today is this very cool floor lamp. Really nice vintage look. Lamp has been rewired with cloth cord. Four light lamp. Very top of lamp adjusts for the shade. I think its designed so you can have the candle like lights exposed or not? Not sure. I have given you many pictures for your inspection. Base meas. 10" by 10" I am calling the base green stone, not sure exactly what it is. It does have a couple of chips on it, pictured for you. The lamp is brass plated. Really has a nice look! Very classy and decorative. Cord is approx. 9" long. Lamp adjusts from 67" to 73" at the tallest point. The candle looking sleeves for the lights have some damage, parts of the dripping missing.
