Several makers were producing"Fruits design" hanging lamps but could not find the manufactures name. It is very good condition as age except few heat- cracks.last two pictures) They are tight cracks so no need to fix them. It is ready to hang. The dimension of lamp is 20" diameter and 16" tall. STAINED GLASS LAMP CHANDELIER 1900-1920, CONVERTED TO HANGING LAMP
This original antique(1900-1920) stained glass hanging lamp was once a chandelier. It has been re-wired as a hanging lamp. From our research it appears to have been made by Chicago Mosaic Shade Co. The colors of the of the flowers and leaves are NOT faded and the lamp is beautiful. It stands 16 inches tall and measures 22 1/2 inches across at the bottom. The lamp has two sockets and it works great. It is sometimes described as a slag lamp. I will not ship this antique lamp because the glass is delicate and it is very heavy(40-50 lbs) If you buy it you must pick it up in Albuquerque. New Mexico. I offer a two week return policy. This is a gorgeous Tiffany style hanging lamp shade. It has the fixture. Cap and chain. Beautiful amber, yellows and browns in a leaf design. The Heart Tiffany Company was formed in New London, CT in approx. 1982. Their trademark was revoked in 1985, so these lamps weren't made for very long. There is a metal plate with the company name. Their special mark was a small glass heart soldered on the inside of the lamp next to the name. You can see that in one of the photos. This is an exceptional piece. Excellent condition. This is a fine. Elegant vintage reproduction of those treasures found in the early 1900s. I believe this beautiful example would be from the 1940s or 50s. It measures 22 inches wide. And is 14 inches high. The hanging bracket is solid. As is the rest of the lamp. It will need to be rewired for use. I can find a couple of pieces of glass that have hairline cracks. But all is very tight- nothing loose. Just for the fun of it. I counted each piece of glass, and found over 500! Measure about 11" tall to top of hook that chain is attached to and 11" in diameter. There is one repair of leaded metal that I have shown in 7th and 9th pics. Also. 8th pic shows a slight separation of glass from leaded frame. None of these flaws will affect use and when hanging should not show up. Brass looking top cap and ceiling cap need gentle cleaning as this was purchased at an estate sale and has been in storage. Comes from some free home.
