Antique Old Vintage Reverse Painted Bird & Flowers & Gold flecks Glass 20" Lamp
Offering an unusual antique reverse painted blue bird with flowers amid gold flecks old vintage 20" tall lamp. Glass part alone measures 10 1/4" high& 6 3/4" across widest part. Great condition considering its age. Flower is not a bright red as one picture depicts. Last picture is closest to accurate. There is a flower bud below the big flower& bird is sitting on a leafy branch. Will ship insured.

Antique Fostoria GWTW Hand Painted Cosmos Flowers(I believe) Oil Lamp Base Cast iron foot is marked" FG" 617" If there is no bid in the first 24 hours we WILL put a reserve on it or END the auction. This GWTW oil lamp base is in great condition! See all pictures as they are part of our description! It measures approx 10 1/2" to the top of the brass rim. The cast foot is approx 6" square. The widest part of the font is approx 7 1/2" wide(at the two feathery leaf designs sticking out on the sides) The inside of the base. Where an oil pot sits(not included) is 4 3/4" in diameter by 3" deep. The glass base/font is in great shape and the colors include greens. Yellows, pinks and a touch of brown accents. There are some dirty spots and possibly some fading. It might come out nicer with a deeper cleaning and ... morepolishing, but will leave that up to the high bidder. I basically dusted it for pics. There are four seams on this glass font. The foot and the front/back don't line up squarely and you can see this in the first four pictures of the front and sides. There are raised feathery/leafy designs in the glass at the top and bottom edges and on the two sides. The two sides have a slightly different feathery/leafy design. There is also a wide swirled rib pattern in the glass. I believe the flowers are Cosmos flowers. Or something similar. I can see some heavy swirls in the glass. Which adds nice character. There are no cracks on this base. But I do see a chip which is on the rim where the oil pot liner sits, although the liner does not cover this rim very well. It could be possible this is not the original liner. The oil pot liner has some wear and some light surface rust. But that is usual for these old lamps. It is magnetic, so it is not brass. The brass connector between the foot and glass font is not magnetic and in good shape. It does have some wear to the finish. But no cracks. The cast iron foot has a slight rock to it. Beautiful antique/vintage pair of wrought iron. Painted gold candlestick lamps with polychrome pink painted flowers. They stand 12-5/8" high and the base measures approx. 4" square. As far as I can tell, everything is original. The finish, paper"candle" covers, wiring and sockets. Note to self that these will need to be professionally re-wired! Vintage BRISTOL Glass Oil Lamp LEIPZIG H.S. Hand Painted Flowers This is an older tall oil lamp that was bought in an antique shop in the early 1970's. It is mostly glass with a brass burner. It is a very light jade green opaque white with hand painted flowers in orange and blues with green leaves. The maker's name is imprinted on the flame adjustment knob. The lamp was made in two parts and fused together. The top part is the fuel cell and the base is hollow. The bottom has a hole from the manufacturing process. The lamp appears to work and the adjustment knob is difficult to turn. But works fine when the wick is removed, so may not be the right sized wick. The chimney is missing, other wise is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks. A very nice older piece that would look great on any mantle or in any collection. Antique Old Paris Porcelain Vase made into lamp blue w/hand-painted flowers, bow
True to its period of making when Neo-classical revival(end of the 18th. Beginning of the 19th centuries) was enjoyed in France, the urn shape features Etruscan goddesses, blue bow-knots, pink roses, 24kt gold leaf transfer decorations and gold leaf accents on the goddesses and as rings separating the various design sections. The blue of the solid areas is more periwinkle than cerulean of the bow-knots. The body of the lamp measures 12 3/4" in height. And 4 3/4" wide(from bustline to bustline of the goddesses) The shade is 9 1/2" tall- with an overall height of 22 1/2" from the top of the finial to the tabletop. One small smudge on the silk(shown in photo) otherwise perfect and ready to add a light bulb of your choice, plug in and adorn your night stand, bedroom dresser or dressing room. This hasn't been used in 7 ... moreyears(taken out of box for pictures, now back in box to ship) so it needs a good home! Background: I moved to Boston in 1998. And found the components of the vase in an antique shop on Charles Street in Beacon Hill. A fine example of Bohemian style cut-to-clear lamps. This beautiful pair of lamps features a clear green body. Cased on opaque white, with cut-to-clear accents all around the lamp. Signed MOE BRIDGES Flowers & Butterflies REVERSE PAINTED Shade Boudoir Lamp
I have up for sale a gorgeous vintage/ Antique circa 1920s signed shade& base MOE BRIDGES Reverse Painted Boudoir Lamp. The shade is awesome- having vibrant coloration- with butterflies flying amongst flowers and foliage. There are 3 different butterflies positioned in areas around the shade. The shade is correctly signed on the lower rim. I have this shown in pic#10. There is also a number- looks like HH 1134 but its very difficult to decipher. The base is also correctly signed and is the original base to this lamp. The sale is obviously for both the shade and base. Hope I didn't confuse anyone with the separate pic of the shade in my first pic. Although probably not noticeable in the pics. The shade is textured and the colors are bold.T he lamp is much nicer when seen in person- for some reason I could just not get a good representation ... moreof the color and definition of the shades floral pattern. In my opinion it is one of the nicer boudoir shades that Moe Bridges made- my pics do not do it justice. The shade is in Excellent Condition- it has one small flat flake the is on the inner part of the flat rim. It is absolutely insignificant. Being ridiculously fussy, there is one miniscule- uber insignificant- tiny nick on the bottom rim as well. NO outside rim chips- NO repairs, nor anything even remotely construed as a problem. The lamp has been in my personal collection for the past 10 years and now its time to let someone else enjoy it. The shade will be double boxed and sent in a separate parcel from the base. We are pleased to offer this antique table lamp for auction. This beauty stands an impressive 25 inches tall to the top of the brass finial. And the shade measures 18 inches in diameter with a 3 ¼ inch fitter. Both the shade and base are unmarked. But date to sometime in the 1920’s or 30’s. The base is a cast iron in composition and has the original painted bronze finish with a rich. Warm patina. The finish is nearly 100% with just a small loss around the edge of the base. The shade as mentioned is unmarked. The glass has a satin finish with a reverse painted decoration. Gentle pastel hues of rose and purple were used to make the chrysanthemum blooms seemingly come to life. This shade is free from any cracks. Here for sale we have a lovely Victorian Lamp Shade that came from a large Brass Hanging Lamp. The shade dates from a 19th century. And was the central decoration of a Victorian Hanging Lamp. The shade is milk glass that has a rolled top edge for a brass collar measuring 6 3/4" The shade stands 5" tall. The bottom hurricane shape measures 13 3/4" in dia. There are no cracks, chips, nor repairs. The enamel paint is very nice having 1880's theme Flowers& Leaves. It is not marked that we can find. Will make a great center shade for a nice hanger. Antique GWTW Marked Forstoria Oil Parlor Lamp Hand Painted Pink Yellow Flowers
Here is a beautiful early GWTW Fostoria Glass Company oil lamp that appears all original and never converted to electric. Has the Forstoria Glass Co stamp on the bottom of the bass as pictured with the number 856 as well as FG Co. Also has the Fostoria center burner with the early patent dates as pictured. A wonderful hand painted picture of yellow and pink flowers and obviously the top and bottom match perfectly on both sides. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs in either of the glass pieces. The lamp measures 22" tall to the top of the hurricane shade and 19" to the top of the shade. The shad is 9 1/2" tall and wide as well as the font glass is 9 1/2" wide. The base is 8 1/8" across. A wonderful lamp. Shipping is a little high but I think I will ship the globe in a separate box to assure safe transport so really ... moretwo packages. Thanks for looking!
