I have not seen another iron example with the head thrust upward ... morelike this. As if the horse were neighing or on the verge of rearing. It looks genuinely old, but I am unsure of age. As you can see, the build of the horse is more true to the era than modern versions with their more refined conformation. The underside of the base has four indents similar to what I've seen on some roof tiles. The sculpture is comprised of two fused halves, as you can see from the seam that runs down the middle from mouth to tail. There are some rough spots here and there and obvious age-related dirt and patina, but it is otherwise in good condition. Measures 10" long from mouth to tail and 8 1/2" tall.

Old working lamp in great condition. It is made of heavy hand painted cast iron with a tole leaf over each of the petaled lights. It has an old patina. Some chips in the paint and an old thick round cord. On the back the maker's name is stamped into the iron and says"Allied Metal- Inglewood, Calif. It measures about 13-1/2" high and 14" wide. The base measures about 3" front to back.

The 8 1/2" tall frosted hurricane globe is finished with black and white pictures. 4 weather vanes inside a laurel leaf holly pattern. a horse. Ship, a rooster, a eagle. The diameter opening of the bottom of the globe is 2 15/16" The globe does have some scratches in the frosted area. No Cracks or chips. The picture show no wear. As far as I can tell, everything is original. The finish, paper"candle" covers, wiring and sockets. Note to self that these will need to be professionally re-wired! Victorian hurricane lamp with nice painted floral milk glass body and cast iron base. Mechanism stamped with White Flame Light Co. Grand Rapids, Mich. Pair of fabulous antique gilted iron chandeliers dating from the early 1900's. They were taken straight from an old house. And nothing has been done to change them. The pan light fixture canopy has coming from the center a chain that then reaches an elaborate Art Nouveau"hanger" The entire chandelier has a beautifully aged finish with hints of a reddish hue, with blue and green throughout the elegant flower, berries and leaf design. There are five chandelier arms, each connected with an outside arms forming a ring. It looks like an early piece that was electrified later. I am unaware if they work properly or not therefore. I cannot guarantee anything. Overall these light fixtures are in nice antique condition and have lots of undisturbed character. Antique Original Cast Iron Painted Oscar Bach Style Table Lamp c. 1900-1940
This is an exceptional table lamp in the style of Oscar Bach(1884-1957) He was a master of metalwork who came to Germany in 1911 to New York. He was one of the most noted figures in the field of decorative arts in the first half of the 20th century. Oscar Bach was commissioned by many wealthy individuals. And also did custom work for the Empire State Building, Yale University and the Procurement Division of the U.S. Treasury Division, among others. This lamp has no known makers marks on it. It is made primarily of cast iron and has a possible faux mica type finish on the enclosed shade. It appears to be all original( the underside of the lamp shade may have been painted or it may be the original paint) There appears to be no repairs, damage or missing parts. The lamp is in very good working condition. It could have been used in many different ... moreplaces such as a bank or in a hotel/ motel setting. I believe it to be from the early 1900s to the 1940s. The base has eight mother of pearl call buttons on it. The approx. measurements are: 16 1/2" L x 9" W x 19" H(to the end of the finial) The lamp weighs about 20 lbs. An antique. Circa 1920's, unmarked: Jefferson, table lamp with reverse painted scenic glass shade. The lamp base is cast iron with a nice bronze finish. It retains the original dual socket cluster in working order. One pull chain has been shortened. New cord and plug, switch also on the cord. The shade is probably original to the lamp. The shade holder has been modified and is not original, the brass finial may not be original. Lamp measures 23-1/4" tall by 7-1/2" bottom diameter, the shade measures 7-3/4" tall by 18" diameter. Very good condition: lamp base without breaks or losses, original bronze finish unworn. The shade has number: 848, on the top rim, minor chips to the top edge, the bottom edge with miniscule factory grinding marks.

Antique Obverse Painted Slag Glass Lamp Cast Iron Base
A lovely antique slag glass lamp with signed gilt cast iron base and original matching finial. The six sided shade has ornate filigree over the glass. The lamp retains original red and green paint on the glass within the filigree work. The lamp is in good condition. The cord is falling apart. So the lamp must be rewired. There is wear and tarnish throughout the metal finish commensurate with age. I can't make out the first part of the mark on the underside that finishes with"NEW YORK. Surface rust on the underside of the base. The lamp measures 22 inches tall and the shade is 15 inches diameter. The base measures just over 6" diameter. Cast iron lamp& shade I am offering a pairing that is unlikely an original one. The cast iron lamp is period- showing original cloth wiring under the base. An old rewire job that looks in need of yet another. I did not test this lamp as such- we will call it for repair- likely needs a rewire. That being said it looks to possibly have original parts on it- the brass lamp socket is marked Benjamin. Typical finish wear and patina. The shade may be a 70s reproduction- it is not signed(unless I am missing it) however it is a very stunning example of reverse painting. Some scratches inside top, but for the most part the paint is excellent on this thing. The milk glass base is mounted on a cast iron black base, and has some stress crazing where the brass is fitted to the milk glass. see photos. approx. 13.5" tall x 6" dia there is age wear in evidence on the painting. This is a stunning antique cast iron. Brass, and glass Victorian oil burning parlor lamp. the gold gilded iron base is nicely footed and is extremely ornate. the top of the base is a threaded female piece and holds the threaded oil font. this is a rare design and have not even seen one before, the font is made from a thick heavy milk glass and has nice embossed detailing wrapping the bottom. the top part is beautifully hand painted with nice color and composition depicting a floral scene. it has a brass badger burner on the top and a threaded lid to add oil. in nice shape and measures 10 1/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches. x… Thank you for visiting"Dusty Treasures" and please feel free to browse through my online ebay store where you can find several more wonderful items similar to this.
