The base and neck are cast metal and the only markings say"accurate casting" on the base. Each lamp measures 33 inches tall and 13 inches wide. They have a real Hollywood Regency feel to them. One of them has more gold wear than the other and one doesn't have a finial although since the other one is just a plain brass cap it will be easy to replace. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND PERFECT! Very large Fenton White Coin Dot Lamp. It is 28" tall from top to bottom. The globe on top measures 10 1/4" high. I am not sure if the chimney is original. It looks like it but again not sure. The bottom of the base is marked F-711. There are NO CHIPS OR CRACKS to this beautiful piece. Looks something like you would see in Gone With The Wind. Great detail to feet and middle, original turn key. Makes quite a statement in your home! The lampshade is all around adorned with icicles- to achieve a bigger contrast the icicles are clear polished while the rest of the lampshade shows a frosted surface. The metal parts are all hold in a strict geometrical design like it is typical for the french Art deco design. Offered is a matching pair of vintage. Opalescent, swirl font, table lamps with marble and brass stands, tasteful without being ostentatious in a shabby chic white. These would be nice for the beach or a young ladies bedroom. Judging from the original wiring which is all works perfectly; I'd date these early 20th c. around 1930. Each stands 30" tall with the arms inserted and 19" without. The marble bases are 5 inch squares. The metal is brass and brass plate. I see no imperfections. You would want 12"drop shades so that the bottom of your shade just meets the top of your lamps. You might want to go with bold shades in a calico or something deliberately off skew if you get my drift. Unusual Antique Brass & Opalescent Slag Glass Hanging Hall Fixture Lamp
This is an interesting antique electric hanging hall fixture. It is made of hand worked brass and rippled opalescent slag glass. The brass frame is 6 sided.The brass frame is 11 1/4" across at the corners. Each brass side measures 6" wide x 4 3/4" high and each side has one panel of rippled opalescent slag glass.Underneath there is a dramatic 10 1/4" high inverted cone with 4 beaded brass vertical supports.There is a opening at the bottom of the cone measuring approx. 7/8" in diameter. From the bottom edge of the brass frame hang approx. 48- 2 piece glass prisms. The frame is suspended by 4 chains from a vertical shaft with 4 hooks for fastening. At the bottom of the shaft is the light bulb and at the top the shaft is connected by a length of brass chain to the ceiling canopy.The 4 hook assembly from which the 4 small ... morechains attach is adjustable up and down to accommodate various bulb sizes. As the lamp is hung now it measures approx. 40 1/2" from the ceiling. I do not know the maker of this lamp but I believe it dates to the 1890's- 1900. It is in very good condition. This beautifully ornate antique double student oil lamp has two dual wick burners with glass chimneys. The width is approximately 19" with a height of 27" This lamp is quite heavy. Though the origin of this lamp is unknown. The knobs on the burners are stamped"Duplex- Made in England" Condition: Please note that, with most antiques, there is the expected wear to the lamp so please look closely at all pictures, as they are considered as part of my description, and feel free to ask questions. There is a small separation in the smaller decorative brass area noted in the last picture. The Cranberry Opalescent shades are quite stunning and are such a deep rich cranberry color. No Reserve, Free Shipping This is an exceptional antique hanging kerosene oil lamp dating to the Victorian era of the 19th century. The handsome design features a rare and important aqua opalescent art glass shade with a striking thumbprint design. The elegant brass floral decorated frame holds a lovely hand painted glass kerosene burner holder featuring a butterfly and flowers. 36 cut glass prisms delicately hang from the lovely filigree ring upon which the aqua shade rests. The fact that the prisms are cut glass and not pressed glass adds to the special nature of this beautiful fixture. The cast iron ceiling anchor hook disc is marked with a patent date of 1872. The lamp hangs from chains on three ... morepulleys attached at the canopy. Which allows for the lamp to be pulled down from where it hangs for easy lighting and maintenance. Also included is the original anchor hook, back plate, and a kerosene burner with a glass chimney. In overall very good condition with very light wear and oxidization to the metal components. The decorative panel on one of the brass arms holding the glass kerosene globe is a bit loose but remains stable. There are no cracks or chips to the shade. Or glass lantern base. The prisms exhibit some internal cracks but none are broken. The chains move smoothly over the pulleys. This condition is consistent with age and use. The total normal hanging length of the lamp not including the anchor hook is 33 1/4" The glass shade is 6 1/4" tall with a top and bottom diameter of 6" and 13 7/8" respectively. The length of each prism is approximately 4 1/4" in length. Antique 1915 Art Glass Cat Lamp Opalescent German Figural Halloween Murano Rare
An outstanding early 20th century art glass lamp in the form of a cat. The entire lamp is handblown glass. The body is opalescent red glass with an extruded tail. Applied blown glass eyes and ears. The lamp measures 9 1/4" tall. I believe this to be a very rare lamp and have not been able to determine a manufacturer. It is most likely German or possibly Italian. The lamp retains the original early 20th century fixture, silk cord, and ceramic plug. The lamp functions properly but I would suggest rewiring if you want to use it with regularity or leave unattended. The cat's left ear has been repaired but it is an excellent job and is hardly noticeable. There are a few small minor nicks around the base. The bulb is not included in the sale. The pattern is Coin Dot, also known as Thousand Eyes because when you look into an"eye" you see 1000. The opalescence is stunning, almost transparent. True artwork. The lamp is 39-40 inches from the ceiling plate to the finial at the bottom. This brass toned part is seen in the second photo. I will put this lamp together for you in photos. The second photo is with the font inside the metal framing, the font is 4" tall and 12" around at the widest. There is a night light bulb housing inside the font. The wiring is cloth covered, definitely needs replaced to make it safe to use, see photo# 10. The cloth covering is off one of the wires all together, it was dry and just crumbled off. Once rewired this lamp would be more fabulous than imaginable, all those artistic dots with tons of opalescence. It could even be put on a dimmer! It would shine beautifully over a dining room table, or add elegance anywhere it was hung. My photos do not begin do this exquisite piece justice. There are no real issues with this beauty. There is a small 1/2" or smaller feathered chip on the Inside of the rim of the shade as previously mentioned. This is not seen once set in its frame. No flea bites, other chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. As you can see, there is no chimney, but I have purchased a few that could fit, if so I will include it. Pre packaged weight is 8 pounds. Rembrandt sticker a little tattered but in place. Beautiful two tone WORKING excellent Condition rare Rembrandt lamp. 2 switches. One at base and one at the base of upper light, both control upper light, base does not light up. Bulb required is a medium sized.MOGUL BASE type No chips or cracks. Some discoloration on gold wash base. ORIGINAL lamp shade Unfortunately do to this items fragile and heavy nature. No returns will be accepted, this lamp WILL arrive in tact and working, but will cost around 100.00 to ship. It does take a special bulb. Found at your local hardware store, Lamp lights beautifully 44" tall total height with shade in place. There are small bubbles in glass and a couple light scratches.
