Vintage Solid Brass Nude Cherub Angel Sculpture Art Lamp Light Marble Base Italy
This table lamp is just beautiful and very old. Heavy. The base is white marble made in Italy. The cherubs are heavy brass- the lamp without bulb and shade measure 8 3/8 tall with shade measures over a foot 13 inches. The marble base measures 4 x 4. This lamp is in excellent condition. There is a chip on the bottom of the marble that you can not see it is underneath- unless you pick the lamp up and examine it as I just have you would not notice. I mention this for accuracy. Italian Porcelain Female Figure Lamp Fruit Basket on Shoulder Nude Cherub Hand Painted. Stunning large table lamp made of porcelain with intricate detailing! The base has groups of porcelain applied flowers. The base also has a seated nude cherub holding up some fruit! It must have fallen from her basket! She is wearing a pink. Yellow gold accented gown with long flowing draped design. Her face is lovingly hand painted. Copper shaded urn filled with fruit again, some of it is damaged. See photos. The lamp is 26" tall to socket and top of fruit basket is 21" tall. The base is about 12" by 12" wide. She is signed on the bottom, made in Italy. The lamp's chord has been cut because it was fraying and needs to be replaced, rewired. As is, as shown. We have her matching mate but her arm was broken in transit back to our ... moreshop. Offered is a lovely vintage Art Nouveau figural lamp depicting a stunning nude cherub and/or putti blindfolded holding a torch in each hand lighting the way. This is an exquisite piece with shell bulb cover shades. The lamp shows wear typical of age and use. But as you can see displays beautifully. There is one petal missing off the back of a shade and and I see an old repair on the socket cover as shown which one can paint over if they felt the need.
