Vintage Bradley Hubbard Murano Slag Glass Overlay Lamp Mission Arts Crafts
Offered is a as found old Bradley and Hubbard bronze base.Slag lamp with heavy overlay shade. This is an early piece with that of the glass of Murano of italy and with the textured green& white swirled glass really sets this off. Very colorful. The base is marked B&H and has a leaf design, I don't know that the base is original to the piece or not. The lamp has a triple light socket with acorn pull s. All panels are intact and one has a crack that looks like it has been re paired, see pic# 8. some of the other panels have what m ay be small chip s on the edeg es from when they were cut.This could use a good cleaning and polishing to remove any oxidation or residue. Mid Century Modern Murano/Venetian glass lamp in a brilliant rasperry color. Deeply ribbed creating a 3 D visual delight especially. 48" to the original gilded finial and 36" to the socket with a 6.5" gilded base. The glass body is 10" at the widest and 20" tall. Marbro Lighting was one of the premier lamp companies of the era based in Beverly Hills and catering to the Hollywood elite. They often made lamps out of exquisite glass and ceramics imported from Italy. The fragment of the Marbo label has"Venetian Glass" and their motto. Old World Craftsmanship, New World Style. The lamp is in good working order and in great condition with no damage other than very minor wear on the bottom of one base bottom as shown. The shade used for display is not original and does not ship.

Made of mostly blown crystal glass(maybe Murano) from the base all the way to the top of lamp. Beautiful glass prisms. Stands about 72" tall. Lamp works perfect takes a large mogul style 3 way bulb. Looks beautiful when lit up it spreads a beautiful array of light across the ceiling. Lamp is in good condition. There are a few of the top curved pieces that are loose they are held in place by plaster sockets which is how they did it back then. Amazing vintage Murano glass hanging light/lamp. I believe the frame is wrought iron. 3 cased glass Murano shades. 3 glass chimneys. The larger middle chimney has a Murano label on it. The frame measures 26 1/4" high and 38" wide and is quite heavy. The smaller shades measure 6 1/4" high and the bottom opening is almost 7 3/4" across. The larger middle shade is 8 1/2" high and the bottom opening is 12 1/2" across. The shades have only minor nicks along the top and bottom rims. There are also many. Many prisms that appear to be glass. Not all of them are shown hanging on the lamp. From moving the lamp around a lot of them have come off and I have them separate. If I had to guess I would say there are probably over 100 of them. This is a stunning antique early 20th century Italian hand blown Murano glass and bronze electric table lamp. It is a very high quality lamp. Blown completely by hand out of a lovely pink glass. it has an Italian vase shape with stylized leaf embellishments which have blooming white buds coming out of the bottoms of the leaves. the pink glass has a wavy rim with an inset bronze cap. the bronze base is very detailed and has an ornate cut out floral detailing wrapping the obscurely shaped edge. the sockets are made of brass and have adjustable ball joints to be able to move them in any desired direction. they also have hanging on/off pull chains. it is in very nice working condition measuring 28 1/2 inches by 5 inches wide. Up for auction a magnificent. Antique and quite mysterious antique lamp glass bell. Handicraft made of thick blown glass. Typical Art Nouveau or Liberty floral shape. Italy, Murano, late 19th- early 20th Century. Man blown and hand finished. Probably was part of an elaborate floor lamp. Two pieces: a bell and a cover. The bell has hexagonal mouth with rim relief; a glass curl adorning each corner. Trunk conical shaper with rounded and embossed bottom. An hole at the base for a lamp pole pedestal. Dome shaped cover with a beautiful twisted pinnacle resting on three small spheres. Diameter 28 cm; overall height ca. 52 cm. Weight 2880 grams(101.59 oz. Very good condition with few chip around the base hole(see pic) Into the cover a circular mark can be observed but I was not able to identify it. An enchanting thing by itself. Verosimilmente parte di un'elaborata lampada da terra. Composta da due parti: campana e coperchio. La campana presenta una bocca esagonale con bordo in rilievo; un ricciolo in vetro decora ciascun angolo. La forma è troncoconica con base tonda a sbalzo. Alla base troviamo un foro per il piedistallo. Il coperchio è a cupola, sovrastato da un meraviglioso pinnacolo a torciglione sorretto da tre piccole sfere. Diametro 28 cm; altezza ca. 52 cm.
