Awesome Art Deco style swing arm floor lamp. This is a very ornate piece and will restore beautifully. Someone put some tan color paint on the base. I think this will come off very easily. A lot came off when I was brushing it off with a straw whis k broom. The base is a cast metal material with 4 small feet and is marked on the bottom(HF-5) The bottom ornate stem piece. And the spacer piece just under the arm is cast brass. The middle stem is a fluted lighter metal, I'm not sure if that is the original color or someone painted that too. The swing arm moves freely and I think It has a 3-way switch. It has been re-wired and works good. The wire has#s on it(18/2 SPT-1 Pot-64 105 C AIW-R) the cord measures 7' 4" long. This very nice quality lamp has exceptionally graceful proportions and is made of cast white metal and cast iron with older distressed bronze painted finish. It dates from the 1920s-30s and measures 65” tall x 10” across the trifid platform base mounted with cast metal flames and boasts a font form top with deeply molded. Cast classical foliate details topped by three candle sockets. There are no obvious losses in the details and the base has especially nice weight to offer adequate support to the lamp’s tall, slender lines. I see no maker’s name. It sits securely on its base. And you can't just lift it off. The base I believe is wrought iron. Or a lighter metal. It also is in pretty nice shape, but does have a bit of the black paint peeling off, and a couple areas of oxidation. These can easily be remedied with some touch up paint, and a metal protectant. I've used this lamp for years. And the electrical connections seem fine. I've never seen it flicker or shows signs of a short. I'm not exactly sure of its age. But I believe it is from the 1970's era. Measurements and weight: from top of lamp bracket to bottom: 61-3/4" tall. The main light has its original milk glass shade. The lower fixtures just use regular light bulbs and do not have shades. I don't think they would have originally had shades either. The lamp was made this way. It measures 3 feet tall so it can be used as a tall table lamp or a shorter floor lamp. It also measures 11 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. Vintage slag glass floor type smoking stand. Very colorful thick slag glass(pink.Rose,red, orange, yellow brown swirl pattern) Glass is in very nice condition. I see no chips nor cracks other than one small flake chip in the top glass piece by the metal ring(left side in photo 3) The metal has quite a bit of corrosion and corrosion bubbles. I made no attempt to clean it. I know very little about this type of item. I took lots of photos so you can make your own decisions. Overall about 29 inches tall. 25 inches to the tray plus 4 inches for the handle. About 11 inch diameter on top tray and 11 3/4 inch diameter base. Base is very neat open cutout pattern. The top tray has 4 holes for ashtrays. Containers, etc. The lidded tobacco holder container might be original. The brass tray is I think not original. The other 2 inserts are missing. From ... morethe underside of the base(photos 10 and 11) you can see the 2 breaks in the"X" by the rusty iron strap/bar. This stand still has a sturdy. Solid and sound frame. It came to me with a light in the base(photo 10) I do not know if this light is original but it is not mounted properly and this light has a broken switch and and no plug end. Antique bridge arm floor lamp with original shade. The pole of the lamp is made of wood and the arm and base are metal. The pole. Base and arm are excellent with very nice patina. Bottom is marked K 88. Needs to be rewired and the wingnut that holds the socket onto the lamp needs soldering to hold it on or replace the socket entirely. The shade is original and has some minor wear. Screws on the socket finely. The beading on the bottom loose(could be repaired or removed) Lamp measurements: 58" tall; 10" arm length and 9" length on shade. Overall this lamp is in very good condition for the age. Antique Alabaster and Metal 3 Way Floor Lamp Lighted Base Lrg 16 Glass Shade
This is a beautiful vintage/antique Art Deco Nouveau floor lamp with alabaster accents and lighted base in absolutely beautiful condition. The pictures really do not do it justice. Stands 64.5" tall. The base is about 12" wide. The lamp is very heavy and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Bronze tone heavy cast metal(not cast iron) ornate base. Stem and ornate shade holder with beautiful light toned cream colored alabaster accents on the stem and base with swirls of brown and red in them. The cream color glass torchiere shade is just under 16.5" wide and made of very thick glass. It is has a floral embossed pattern around the top rim. It is in excellent shape with only some slight chips around the bottom rim where it has rubbed against its fitting into the metal stem which is commiserate with normal vintage/antique wear. NO cracks ... moreanywhere. The base of the lamp has a push button on/off to turn on the base nightlight separately from the top light. Flaws: There is one small chip in the alabaster on the base that is shown in the last picture near the on/off foot switch. There is also some wear visible around the upper on-off switch which is also pictured in the photos. The top light switch/fixture is a Leviton 3 way turn knob switch for adjustable lighting level. currently using a huge Sylvania 100/200/300 watt bulb(not included in auction) As I always. Milcast Vintage Swing Arm Brass Floor Lamp Description This is a very ornate vintage art deco/ nouveau era bridge arm brass lamp that needs some TLC and NEEDS TO BE REWIRED. I will have to ship the post& the parts separately. I Have no box that will fit all the parts and it should be considerably less expensive to ship them this way. The heavy part will all fit in a Large Priority Flat Rate Box and the post I can fit into a poster type box. I am leaving the parts on the cord so that you will have no problems putting it back together. If you do not want the post I can ship the parts only and you could possibly find a post in a hardware store. I am including pictures of the lamp assembled so that you can see how nice it looks. The post just screws into the base on the bottom and into the arm at the top and everything just slides over the ... morepost. This is very easy to assemble and does not require any tools. The Lamp Details The square base has a foot on each corner that keeps it raised off the floor which also gives it room for the cord to pass through. I think the brand is called“MILCAST” and on the opposite side it has M G– 70 stamped on the bottom. The square base has flower in a square box above each foot. It has some very pretty designs on the top of the base and going up from the base about 7” it has a kind of cylindrical cone shape design. About halfway up 31” it has another decorative piece in a kind of footed floral design. Towards the top it has a spiked piece where the arm attaches to the lamp post. The two pieces that make up the major portions of the lamp post is in a square shape and these two pieces are made of a lighter weight metal, The arm is a very ornate piece with a lion situated in the center top. The cord comes out of the hole in the post and through the center of the arm where you can't really notice it. The socket that the bulb goes in screws onto the part of the arm that goes downwards. For your purchasing consideration. We have an Oxford Brass Metal Swing Arm Floor Lamp with Lamp Shade in very good condition. Arm opens to 10" extented and when folded 5.25" Height is 52" from floor to top of shade. Twist on/off knob switch. Uses 40 to 75 watt light bulb, not included, Lamp shade looks good on outside, however there is some wear/ cracking on inside. Lamp pole shows some wear with minor scratches/ knicks from normal wear.
