Mid century mercury glass ball table lamp very cool
You are looking at A used mid century mercury glass ball lamp. This lamp measures 18” tall. About 9” at the widest part of the ball and the very bottom base is 6” The lamp has one 1-1/2” crack toward the bottom of the ball and has some clouding next to the top ring. As you can see in the pictures the lamp still looks very good for its age. There are two pictures of the crack. I don’t believe the crack affects the structure of this lamp. It is very hard to see and even harder to get pictures of. The lamp functions perfectly. The paint at the top and bottom is in great condition. Here’s your chance to get a very cool looking lamp. Lamp has an ovoid shaped glass body with internal silverized mirrored application. Lamp is mounted on an ebonized wooden base with ebonized wooden cap. Lamp was totally disassembled. Cleaned and rewired with all new polarized plug cord, new three way socket and new harp& finial. It has a new protective felt base as well. Sorry shade is NOT included. Greetings. Up for grabs here is a very neat old lamp. I took it to a lamp store and was told it was called Mercury Glass with a Sugar Glaze. The gold stripes are most likely real gold but no way of testing it. There is no shade but no damage either other than the felt missing from the bottom. It measures 31 inches tall. The shades are NOS never used solid thick heavy glass with 9 reflective panels with their original heavy gauge steel fitters w/ Brass/Bronze wall mounting hardware. The middle lamp stands approx. 16 1/2" high from table to where bulb socket begins- 26" from table to top of shade harp- 6 1/2" across widest part of glass- 6" across the base. The base as tarnish spots from age. And one small dark patch on the girls back on one side of the lamp, not too noticeable with the naked eye. The pair of lamps measures approx. 16" from table to top of glass- 18" from table to where bulb socket begins- 29" from table to top of shade harp- 7 1/2" across widest part of glass- 5" base. The light colored bands across the bottom may be dingy or they came that way. I can't tell) with nicely patina-ed brass. This is a gorgeous set of antique glass for the collector!

Offered for sale is a wonderful vintage wall bracket oil lamp. Cast iron bracket and wall mount. Beautiful Acme Mercury glass reflector. In perfect condition. I have owned these for over 40 years, they were inherited from relatives There is very minor flaking of the mercury glass. As photographed. To me, this does not effect appearance or value. It is difficult to see these blemishes without very carful scrutiny. The bulb sockets and pull chains are not original and have been replaced over the years. This is an original. Wonderful Mid-Century or Hollywood Regency large table lamp. Measures 35"H from base to top of finial. Base to top of socket measures 23 1/2"H. Base to top of glass globe measures 17 1/2"H. Width and depth are approximately 12" at widest/deepest points. Wood base measures 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" Has a 4-way light function with three different brightness settings. Switch is on the cord. Nice felt bottom of base. Original finial measures 3 3/4"H. Some crackling to the glass interior finish. No chips or cracks to glass. Lamp shade is not included. A very fine original example of this classic lamp.
