Antique German Porcelain Luster Creamer Gold Trim. Purple& Brown Lustre O ffered for auction: A very pretty antique porcelain creamer with a richly colored luster(lustre) decoration in brown and purple. With gold trim and a brightly colored floral design on the front. Th e creamer is richly decorated with embossed swirls and beads. Highlighted by the luster finish. This piece measures 3.25 inches high near the end of the spout and 4-7/8 inches long from spout tip to handle end. It is in very good to excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. Surprisingly no crazing.And only a little bit of wear to the gold trim around the spout edge. The piece is clearly marked on the bottom with a green logo that reads" Germany/ W. I have not been able to identify the maker. I believe this pieces dates to ca. 1900-1920. Imperial Glass Lustre Rose Hankerchief Bowl This is a BEAUTIFUL Imperial Carnival Glass in the Lustre Rose(also referred to as'Open Rose' Pattern. It is a 3-Footed Hankerchief Bowl. Circa 1909- 1924. Measurements: 8" across. No cracks or chips and the color is a beautiful. Deep fire orange! There is no makers mark on the bottom which tells that this is one of the older bowls(plus I happen to know some of it's history as it was my great aunts) It is in excellent condition with no chips. Item: By Ridgways. England, a lustre finished plate with gilded edges showing Queen Mary at the Coronation in 1910. Holes for hanging. Makers mark on the rear as shown. It measures around 10 inches in diameter. Condition: In good condition without chips cracks or repair. There are kiln marks on the rear and a few tiny white dots on the front as shown all from the manufacture. This is to show every aspect of this 1910's pre logo Imperial Ripple'swung' bud vase. 12" tall, with a ruffled asymmetrical edge, it is ribbed, inside and out, and shows the clear/white crystallized color(refered to as'Iris Ice' on some Imperial Glass sites) in a variegated pattern. Very clean. If this color is actually'white' This style vase is listed in the 15th Edition(2006) of the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival glass at 200.00. Northwood also has a vase in the same color that is refered to as white) Lots of bubbles and other tiny imperfections normal to the manufacturing process of the day. There are no chips, no cracks, and has the Imperial Starburst ... morepattern on the bottom of base, which shows light wear due to age. Otherwise, Excellent condition. I inherited this bowl from my German grandmother. I have had it for thirty plus years. It has been kept carefully. There is a chip in the blue/violet tip which I never noticed as this is how I received it. Someone colored it. There is also a small chip on one of the feet. See picture 6. Foot on left side. Otherwise it is perfect. The colors and gold gilt are vibrant and undiminished. No cracking or glazing. For its age it is in very good shape. It measures 10.5 across and is 4.5"inches tall. What a beautiful piece of Carnival Glass! This is a simply gorgeous Imperial Lustre Rose large footed fruit bowl in smoke. It has electric iridescence on a smoke glass base. It is neither signed nor trademarked by Imperial nor any other company anywhere on it(top or bottom) indicating it is from the 1910 period. The base has a rose molded into it(see picture#7) The round fruit bowls are harder to find than the ruffled examples. It measures 11" across the top and is 4" in height. The piece has no damage whatsoever including on the flowers and leaves which I checked thoroughly. The radium iridescence just screams"IMPERIAL" It is truly a great piece.
