BRADLEY HUBBARD LILY PAD AND LION PAW BASE - ART NOUVEAU PAINTED SHADE
BRADLEY HUBBARD ART NOUVEAU REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP This auction is for a Bradley Hubbard lamp with reverse painted paneled shade. The base clearly shows the BH logo and has open metal work at the base around the lions feet and lily pads. The top final. Probably a pineapple, seems to match the metal at the top of the 3 lite cluster and is probably original to the base. This base stands about 22" tall, not including the finial. The 3 light cluster appears to have had atleast one socket replaced in the past and the lamp has been entirely rewired and fully functioning. The metal shows signs of wear and light surface rust in a few small areas, mostly around the toes of the paws and edges of the base. The shade is a ribbed bent panel glass with reverse painting. The framework supporting the panels is quite thick and sturdy and extremely ... moreunusual in shape. I did not find the BH mark on the shade. But neither did I remove any panels. If it exists, it is probably beneath the glass up around the vent cap. I strongly suspect that this is the original shade, although I found no reference to either the signed base or the shade in any catalogs or books. This shade rises about 5" high and has an 18" Wide outer diameter. All the panels are bent and reverse painted. The shade appears to be in very good structural condition but shows significant paint loss, mostly to the 3" wide glass skirt. Fortunately, the most significant loss is regulated on adjacent panels with 1/2 showing some loss and the other 1/2 showing significant loss. So, it'looks' better against a wall then in the'round' The shade is almost'true' showing acceptable variances and none of the glass is cracked. The lamp is suitable for use as is and has great'character' It is also a candidate for restoration and there is enough of the painted art nouveau. Wm. Morris type design remaining to restore the shade to original appearance. This shade will ship double boxed and oversized as it requires special considerations

ANTIQUE HANDEL LILY PAD DESK LAMP; RARE YELLOW GREEN SLAG GLASS; DUFFNER ERA
For sale is a beautiful documented Handel lily lamp as shown in pictures 1-12. This lamp is relatively rare in that its glass color is not Handel's standard dark green. Rather. It is a lighter striated yellow green. Also the base metal and the metal holding the petals has a lighter golden brown patina that is more in keeping with the muted colors of the glass. The true patina color is shown in natural sun light in photo 3. The true color of the glass is shown in natural light in photos 2& 3. Although the base and shade are unsigned. This lighter colored variation of Handel's lily lamp is pictured(documented) in"The Handel Lamp Book" by Hibel. Hibel& Fontaine at page 30 at the top right. It is also documented at the site leadedlamps.com under Handel lamps. The lily pad base of these lamps were made of cast iron and ... morethus much more difficult to emboss with the Handel mark than the softer pot metal table lamps. Hence, most of these lily pad bottoms had weak lettering(a couple of letters) to no impressions at all. The lamp has been rewired with a period appropriate brown cloth cord that has been spliced at the bottom. See photos 9& 10. The lamp has its original bakelight plug. photo 8) The socket has a GE paddle. Photo 12. The socket works perfectly. The socket shell is spot welded closed at two spots. You can see one of them in photo 2. The shade is 4 inches long from back to front tip(i.e. The front to back diameter) The shade's side to side diameter is 4 1/2 inches wide. The shades front opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. It takes one of the narrow pointed bulbs. Unfortunately. The lamp has one panel of glass missing. Fortunately, it is in the least conspicuous spot. The underside. The framing for the petal is still intact. The missing piece can only be noticed by viewing the lamp from the back side(photo 11) or from the underside(photo 12) Because of Handel's overlapping petal pattern, the loss is barely noticable. Vintage Art Nouveau Gooseneck Lily Pad Flower Lamp - Victorian
You are bidding on one beautiful art nouveau. Gooseneck lily pad flower lamp. This lamp is in very good shape and works well. I don't know the exact year of production. But in researching this piece, I've found it to be prominent in the 50's/60's. There are no manufacturer markings to aid me in further research. The lamp itself. I'm assuming, is bronze. It's in great shape with minor spots on the lily pad. There are two on the right side and a few dots scattered throughout. I guess that's pretty good for a lamp of this age. The lily pad shows the veins and is quite pretty. There is also a bud coming out of the pad and three unopened flowers. Any flaws are in the photographs so please look before bidding. The flower shade has a small spot where the metal spring clasps land on the inside. It is possible this can ... morebe removed but it does not deter from the beauty. Up for your consideration is an Antique Vintage Lily Pad Brass Floral Table Lamp-Light Slag Glass Shade. Uses Candelabra bulbs. Works great. Original wiring is good. Has on-off switch built in wire. Beautiful Brass, Bronzed Cast material. Lily pads and flowers blooming and laying over on their side, brass ribbed middle section, upper section has 5 arms to hold candelabra light bulb fixtures. Bulbs not included. Has remarkable rootbeer striped 10 section slag glass shade with 1" dark brown slag glass stripes to offset each section, lower half features hand painted yellow floral pattern with leaves/ stems on each of the 10 sections. Framed in led with soldered joints. When light is dim the shade put's off remarkable colors throughout the room. Beautiful addition to any setting. Atq Vtg Lily Pad Base Table Lamp w/ Ornate Slag Glass Lamp Shade
Fabulous vintage table lamp Lily pad base Slag glass shade in ornate gold gilt frame Lamp stands approx 14.5" tall Lampshade is a little loose but it looks to me as if someone put in a new light socket and did not tighten the nut that holds the shade to the lamp. I am guessing that is what it is. It does not affect the lamp but you could probably fix it if you wanted. Most of our auctions are vintage or preloved items and as such might have imperfections. Antique Vtg Lily Pad Cast Bronze? Lamp w/Harp& Finial for Tiffany Style Shade
This item is an estate find. Age and origin unknown. It is an old Lily Pad Design Lamp with the Harp and Finial for use with a Tiffany Style Shade. The very top of the finial piece is darker which will nicely go together with the leading of a shade. It measures about 17.75 inches height. The base without the harp is about 10.75" height and the width of the base is approximately 4.5 inches inches. All measurements are approximate. It works but we recommend rewiring all vintage electrics and cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage due to use of vintage electrics. The socket is Leviton with what appears to be a bakelite switch; the harp and finial will be shipped unattached. Condition: great. Works, may benefit from light cleaning and dusting. The light bulb is not included.
