I wasnt scared to plug it in or anything.But its old and wouldnt really be hard to replace,at least for the piece of mind. The light does work,the switch is a little hard to turn,but it does work. I didnt get shocked or anything like that when I was testing it. There is alot of rust/pitting on the ring that holds the shade.As well as the whole switch assembly. The spot where the oil lamp went is really pitty and rusty. The switch does work for the light,but it feels a little hard to turn. The light sits crooked. I think it has to do with the electrical outlet. When you look down on it,you can see the light is crooked. The whole ring and the entire switch mechanism is dirty and pitted/rusted up. The base appears to have been cleaned up. Its a lot shinier than the rest.It still has some pitting and tarnish spots on it.The underneath side looks terribly discolored and spotty. There is a small chipped off piece on the base. I took a pic. Not really noticeable.But its there The light stands(with shade on) about 16 inches

Seahorse Lamp Die Cut Original Unique Rare Blue Green Teal Floor Light Metal Fab
This lamp is an original welded piece made to order. It has several die cut seahorses in all sizes on all 4 sides. Very heavy metal fabrication so it is for Local Pickup only unless you message me and let me know that you're willing to pay for the transport of it. Which I believe may have to go UPS Freight and I have no idea how much it will cost. If serious, I will take it to UPS to get a quote because I don't even have a box that could possibly fit this thing. I'm just assuming that it will be highly costly. Paid $500 for this one-of-a-kind lamp that I loved and cherished for a decade. Now that my younger children have taken over the extra room. There is no place for this lamp any longer. Vintage 8 arm hanging lamp. Measures approx. 14" from top finial to bottom finial. Approx. 23 1/2" wide from arm to arm Amazing patina! Sadly some has been rubbed off in some areas(see pictures) but not too noticeable. I am not sure if the patina was originally the look of the chandelier or if it was shinny brass to begin with. This Chandelier has vintage written all over and due to its rich patina I would call it"one of a kind" It has 8 arms a couple of them are loose but not noticeable unless physically tilting them. This may be easily corrected. White plastic"candle" sleeves may need to be replace as they too show age. Some are a bit cracked. This chandelier has the matching ceiling plate(not shown in pictures) but I do not have the chain or hardware to attach celling plate. Antique MILLER LIGHT CO. Green Slag Glass ELECTRIC lamp
Here is an antique. Signed, Original Miller Lamp, all original and in decent condition. The Lamp stands about 24 inches tall. The shade is an impressive 20 inches in diameter. All the bent Slag Glass panels are in the shade. One panel is missing a small corner as viewed from the inside, but cannot be seen from the outside. There are a couple of clips replaced by a previous owner by soldering wire to hold the panel, but these should be replaced with a more solid fix. The base itself is marked ML Co for Miller Light Company. The sculpting on the shade and base is all complete and very impressive. The original finish is all there but where worn on some of the high spots on the column and just makes the lamp more good looking. One column has been soldered together to stabilize the frame. this repair can be seen in the photos. These flaws are ... morenot serious. this is a fantastic lap and instantly will add ambience to the room in which it is placed. The lamp has its original wiring and is working, but it should be rewired. This is one very heavy lamp. I will ship in two boxes, keeping the shade in a separate box to minimize the risk of damage in transit. Photos describe best.

Piece definitely needs some attention. 5) of the large panels appear to be complete but I can see where(1) has come out of it's groove and another has some lines in the glass. Up for auction this week is a selection of antique glass lamp shades. This is a gorgeous large grape cluster form of shade. Made for a gas light or lamp. As it has three vent holes on the sides. It is made of a beautiful very thin and light weight art glass. Which is satin green in color and is uranium glass which glows under a black light. A beautiful form with large grapes. It measures approx. 7" by 4-3/4" with an approx. fitter rim of 3-3/8" It is in good condition for its age late 19th early 20th Century. It has a few chips to the vent holes and the fotter rim. No other chips or cracks. As you can see in some pictures as well there are some black marks on it. GONE WITH THE WIND ELECTRIFIED LAMP HAND PAINTED This lamp is just beautiful. It is a Gone With the Wind style lamp which is electrified. The painting is of roses which are beautifully detailed on the front and back of the top and bottom globes. I have shown both the front and back faces. The front faces have multiple roses on them while the back faces have single a rose. The lamp itself is excellent and clean. It has a 3 way light switch which allows both globes to light together or one at a time. It works perfectly. The entire piece is clean it does have 2 slight chips at the base of the bottom globe see pics. Other than that it is clean and flaw free.
