The fitter looks to be made of heavy cast metal. ... moreNot sure what kind. It has a beautiful ornate design on it. The original GE tag is still attached and is labeled"Novalux" All three screws are still in holding the shade in. In the picture with the tag, you can also see the GE logo in the glass. The opening at the base measures 3-5/8" That is from inside to inside. The large shade is two pieces. The glass has a very nice textured design. There is a bottom and top part. Each with a different design. I am not sure how they are attached, but they are not loose. I have been told that the finial screws in at the top and secures the two pieces together. There are three holes in the top piece that looks like screws are supposed to go in, although I am not sure. The glass looks to be in good condition. I can find no chips or cracks. The finial is on top. This measures approximately 30" from bottom of the fixture to tip of the finial. The shade is approximately 13" across in the largest section and 9" around the fitter lip. It appears that the original industrial/commercial socket is in the fixture. Although I have not taken it apart. It should probably be rewired. This will be disassembled for shipping. Plenty of bubble wrap will be used for each piece. This is very heavy. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I do accept offers and will consider any given.

Antique early 1900's vintage milk glass light shade globe 6 inch
One 6 inch(15cm) diameter original milk glass light shade. Globe. No chips or cracks in globe, some expected minor chipping on the rim, invisible when mounted. I rescued three large 8 inch and this smaller one. 6 inch(15cm) from a house being(un)renovated, my family home, built in 1908. The real deal. I have 3 more larger ones, listed concurrently with this particular one. If you are renovating an older house to an original turn of the century style, this would be perfect. ANTIQUE BRONZE SATIN GLASS GLOBE SPELTER ART NOUVEAU DECO TABLE LAMP LIGHT NICE Up for your consideration is this antique bronze and satin glass table lamp. It is made in a art nouveau/deco style(kind of) Please be sure to see the other antique items we have listed. FEATURES: This lamp is unlike anything that I have ever seen in the past. Or could find online, including eBay, Google images and a bunch of other sites. I believe the base is cast from solid bronze. It is made in a very ornate style with scrolling and leafing, and very fine details. The white satin glass globe is adorned with the most detailed hand formed( vines and leaves applied to it. They look like they have been extruded or maybe hand formed(possibly similar to how you would use a pastry gun) when the bronze was in a malleable state. I'm not sure of the actual process ... moreused to make this beautiful lamp because some of the vines feel like they are actually embedded right into the surface of the glass- and the final product is stunning. Each leaf has a very detailed design that includes a"ruffling" on each edge of the leaves. The vines and leaves have been attached to the globe by what I can only guess is a"melding" of the two materials while they were in a hot or workable stage. If anyone knows what this process is, or knows how it was made, an email would be greatly appreciated. The top section above the globe may have been cast from a different composition of materials than the base was. It is designed with a Roman or Greek style with a column look and leaves that fan out at the top. At the top of the four leaves there is a small hole where presumably a crystal hung down from there at one time. It comes with standard socket switch 2 clicks on and two clicks turns it off. I believe this lamp was re-wired with a new cord and socket sometime in the 1950's-60's. The length of the cord is a bit less than 6 feet. The underneath of the cast bronze base has developed a kind of rainbow-ish finish. I'm not sure if it'

Muller Frères» unsigned circa 1920- Very large art deco lampshade molded pressed glass colored by uranium oxides. This globe is not signed but the pattern is known: the origin of the Brothers Muller is certain. It dates from the Art Deco period around 1920. The decor is typical of the Art Deco: stylized flower designs. Star bursts, rays of sun and triangles. The color is unusual: the globe is orange patinated. For uranium glass and vaseline glass. This color is rare but this lampshade glows green under ultraviolet light and it's well colored by uranium oxides. The glass is acid frosted but in some of the raised areas. It is lightly polished.
