Found this at an estate sale in Northern Minnesota. And it is simply lovely! When placed on a table, it sends a shimmering pattern of light across the room. Measures 13.5 inches high, and has a 15 inch perimeter, and is about 6 inches across the bottom. It is a very primitive tin lantern light. And the attached loop tin handle closes, and you could also hang this from the top loop. It has a door on the front that opens and shuts and has a latch that bends in and keeps door shut. Vintage 1960's STAR Head light& Lantern Company Lamp Railroadstar What I have up for bid is a( STAR Headlight& Lantern. Railroad signal. Has heavy duty yellow rubber handle. See all photos. Lamp measures 12" high. Needs a square 6 Volt Battery to work.But it will work as you can see in my pictures. Has 2 small bulbs inside of the top and two in the bottom.They are all newly replaced.This lantern is in good shape but will need some clean of handle.
