There is also signs of rust on the thumb screws as well as the chain which would need to be cleaned up. It looks as if someone had started to restore this lamp but never finished. There are new wires as well as new sockets and it is being sold as working. The lamp shades shown in the pictures will be included. The glass lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. vintage 1950 60's lamp w/night light. These lamps are becoming harder to find and becoming rare. This lamp is in good working order. It has a cord switch. The colors on the lamp are still nice in appearance. The lamp is in good condition with no visible damage of any kind. The lamp stands approx. 10" tall in total height and is approx. 8" wide at its widest point. I have not done anything to clean this piece up other than wipe the dust off. It is in as found condition.

This is for a classic little oil lamp named'Little Butter Cup. which is written on the side of the font in bold, raised letters. I don't see any problems with this little oil lamp at all, except that the old wick in the burner won't come up when I turn the wheel. I think this is due to the age of the wick which is disintegrating. I new stiff wick should work. There is serious wear to the base rim. The lamp has a base diameter of just over 3 inches, and it stands 6 1/2 inches tall. Please email with any questions. Thanks for looking. Never a reserve! Antique French "Pigeon" oil lamp. Newly restored, excellent working condition.
This is an antique French oil lamp. Measuring approx 10" tall these fabulous little lamps would have been in every household. This one is made of chromes brass and has a few dents. Made by"Pigeon" these lamps were copied by many other companies but this is the iconic collectable top quality one! Dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s they were marketed as being the safest lamp on the market. I use one myself and can confirm that you can tip it over while lit and it won't leak and burst into flames. The handle is designed with a slot so it can be mounted on a wall as well as being safe to carry as the handle doesn't get hot! Very often. The bases are rusted through or the winders are broken beyond repair so these are not as easy to find in good working condition as you might wish. Although there are no maker's marks or specifics to assist with dating this lamp. It appears to be early 1930's-40's, heavy brass and the lamp shade looks like green emeralite. Four foot high lamp by one of the premier mid century American lamp companies. Marbro Lamps of Beverly Hills famous for providing custom lighting for Hollywood's elite. The company's designs and finishes were exceptional and this monumental Bacchanalian dancer represents them at their best. Fun, a little naughty, but so elegant. Silver and gold leaf with painted flowers added to the tambourine which also has brass cymbals around it. The handsome figure is wearing a lion skin loincloth complete with the lion's head on the thigh and a dangling leg at the back- a very happy lad thanks to Bacchus. Original gilt ball finial. The silk shade appears original, but it has a large water spot and needs some other minor repair. This lamp is from a family estate. I have been told it is a Pairpoint piece but I can't see the marking because the base was covered long ago in green felt. There are no chips or cracks or anything to mar the beauty of this piece but the patina on the brass fittings which could be cleaned up if desired. These are the details: It's electric. Is in working order, and has a long cord. Starting at the bottom is a two-tiered marble base with brass in between, a faceted clear crystal stem topped with a canary colored glass globe etched with grape vines and grapes. This is topped with a clear/frosted globe etched with a vine and flower cluster design. This frosted globe encloses the light bulb and sits in a brass ring from which 16 two-piece crystal prisms dangle and reflect the light. EXCELLENT UNUSUAL 'HINKS' OIL LAMP
A Genuine original'HINKS' oil lamp with some very nice and unusual details. Clearly marked Hinks both in the base loading. On the burner and with the patent No 2650 on the collar. The burner is an unusual model and top quality. It is single wick, incorporates a 4 inch fit shade gallery and has a superb opal coloured ceramic winder clearly marked HINK'S BIRMh& LONDON' The burner has an unusual internal bayonet fitting. Good cut glass fount in excellent condition. No chips or tiny internal hairline cracks. The rose piece is the 22mm fit found on excellent quality oil lamps. Comes complete with a nicely marked and original chimney and a later etched tulip shade. Both of which are perfect. Stands 27 inches to the top of the chimney. Weight is 3370 grams.

EXCELLENT BRASS AND BLACK CERAMIC BASE for an OIL LAMP
An excellent genuine original base for an oil lamp in very good condition. Just polished and ready to be used. Has a good black ceramic base, which is 7 1/2 inches in diameter and which is marked underneath with the number 231. The rose piece is a standard No 10 size. Having a medium thread pattern of 20 t.p.i. and an internal diameter of 23mm. Weight is 1500 grams. Height is 5 1/4 inches.

A Genuine original DUPLEX burner with screw fit for an oil lamp. The external diameter of the threaded base is 1 1/2 inches. As you can see in our images. This burner is in perfect condition, fitted with good wicks, the extinguisher works perfectly and it is fitted with a push on 4 inch fit flat shade gallery. All nicely polished and ready to use. It has cone shaped brass winders and has been retro fitted with a Hinks type pull weight on the extinguisher arm. Weight is 235 grams.

Excellent Original Chinese Painted Victorian Wooden Floor Lamp w/Fringed Shade
This is a fantastic and very LARGE original Victorian floor lamp made of high quality materials and workmanship. The entire lamp up to the light cluster is solid wood with the original paint intact. The lamp has Oriental inspired details painted all the way around the post and base including many dots. Scrolls, and decorative designs, a woman, and some colorful birds. The paint is excellent with very minor wear and loss limited to just a few small chips missing mainly from the base and some light scuffing and scratches. The details are outstanding. The wood is solid and sturdy, nothing is loose or broken, but there are a few cracks in the wooden base that don't go all the way through and are not loose. The light cluster at the top is all original including the sockets and pull-chain. Both sockets work. The cord looks like an older replacement ... moreand is in good working condition. But both sockets and cord should be inspected before use because of their age. The fabric on the shade has been replaced and seems to be a satiny synthetic blend. Ivory in color, and in very good condition with no tears or obvious stains. The trim around the top and bottom and the fringe are also replacements, but the beads are colorful glass and are original to the lamp. They were professionally re-strung and sewn into the fringe. The finial that screws on over the shade is original and looks like an olive branch. The lamp is quite massive and heavy. Measuring 65" H(including the shade) x 14" W at the base and the shade measures 25" in diameter. The metal stem with the light cluster at the top of the lamp will be removed from the lamp post and wrapped separately for shipping and the shade will be shipped in a separate box. All items will be packed very well and insured.
