Vintage Flowered Milk Glass Electric Hurricane Table Lamp This lamp measures approx. 18-1/2" tall to the top of the shade. The chimney sticks out from the top of the shade about 1 inch. The shade is about 10" wide at it's widest point As you should see. The glass is yellow toned on the milk glass and has yellow& blue flowers with some green leaves The lamp uses a standard sized bulb but i'm not exactly sure of the wattage max.probably 60 would be safe and a small night light bulb in the bottom There is some minor patina to a small part of the brass toned metal that connects to the lower portion of the lamp and the shade has been cracked and repaired(to the side of the flowered area) The break was about the size of a large egg and fixed with some strong epoxy glue.still a small chip on the bottom edge of the shade but ... morewhen in place. You never see it. The break is not really visable unless looking very closely for it and should never come apart. The switch works perfectly as it should and first turns on the bottom night light. Then the top light and then turns on both the top and bottom lights together. No problems at all with the cord. I will pack this very carefully in bubble wrap and shipping peanuts. The lamp shade measures approximately 5 5/8" tall to the top of the shade. The bottom is approximately 8" across where it sits in the shade holder or ring. The top of the shade is approximately 4 1/2" across from one side to the other side. This shade is in really nice vintage condition(check out the pictures) The shade will be well packaged. I have taken many pictures to show you the lamps at every angle and the beautiful cut pattern. Not only is the glass shade cut but the foot and the middle are as well. The round middle is captivating as it looks like a round crystal ball and then it has it matching pattern of cut. The lights work well and I will include the bulbs for you. Also some of the points are nicked but normal for these spears. they are very heavy and really sparkle in the light. Here is a Gone with the Wind Style Hurricane Lamp. This is an all White Milk Glass lamp with brass shade holder and brass bottom. This lamp measures about 20" tall with the shade and chimney. This pretty white milk glass lamp has a ruffled top fringe and measures approximately 10” wide at the bottom. The antique brass key is a 3-way switch for reading or a night light: top only. Both on(or off) and bottom only. This does have the glass chimney insert which measures 12" tall. There is a rust spot where the shade holder meets the white base(see last 2 pics. The on/off switch is a button that turns. I believe that this is brass(could be wrong) The hurricane shade could be any age. I had no way of dating it. There is a slot on the back so it can be hung on the wall or it can sit on any flat surface. There is pitting and spots that have worn off. It does look like that some one had replaced a screw that holds the hood in place. This stands about 12” tall, 5 ½” long and 5” wide. The base is 4 ¾” diameter. Again this does not work. Pair Vintage Antique ? Crystal Cut Glass Table Lamp With Prisms Etched Hurricane
I looked over the glass base and did not see any major issues with the glass base. Actually did not see any issues and I looked pretty closely. The one etched hurricane has a crack in the base that can be seen in the picture. Both lamps need to be rewired. Two crystals are missing. I was able to easily take apart one lamp by hand while the other has rust. I want to cut the cords off and part the lamps for safe shipping. Please advise me of any special requirements you might have before buying. Doing an excellent grade A+ job packing is not a special requirement and is included in the price of this item. The bottom square part of the base is 4 1/8" and the top round glass part of the base measures 4 3/4" diameter. 2/21/2014 UPDATE: Based on all the interest and questions I am having in the lamps I decided to cut the electric cords off and really examine both lamps. Two things I have noticed that are note worthy. One semi-pear glass midsection has 4 hairline cracks. The glass is very thick and these cracks do not carry into the inside of the glass. I never noticed these cracks until I really examined the individual pieces looking for issues. The rest of the glass pieces on both lamps look good. One piece of wire that hangs through the glass base is missing. This thin piece of wire allows the crystal to hang from the lamp. The cords are off and ready to have new wiring. The existing lamp fixtures on the lamps look to be in good condition and will work just fine. New wire and inline switch will be needed. 2/21/14 UPDATE: New wire and plugs added. Kept the switches as new ones would not match the quality of the existing ones. Little over 7 foot long cords. All the effort of wiring and costs means I am not likely to accept a best offer

Up for auction. From my own collection, a antique victorian milk glass hurricane table oil lamp that has been converted to electric. The lamp was converted some time ago as the cord and plug are vintage with some wear but still works. The lamp could easily be converted back to an oil lamp if desired. The lamp is stunning milk glass, embossed design with gold accents and a brass and cast iron base. There is also a brass section in the center of the lamp. There are no chips to the lamp, some expected loss to gold paint. This is truly a fancy hurricane lamp that would look great in your house. Antique Green/Pink Hand Painted Peony GWTW Table Hurricane Banquet Oil Kero Lamp
This is a beautifully hand painted floral gone with the wind lamp with peonies on both front and back of top and bottom globes. The top globe has been repaired where it was broken near the top of the front. There is a close-up showing the repair; the seams are not terribly obvious but still slightly visible. And there is a tiny sliver of glass missing. The flowers and the fact that the repair is close to the top make it less obvious. It still looks fantastic and still has the original font, fill cap, and wick knob, but it has been electrified, so the center of the burner has been replaced with a light socket. It looks like the electrification occurred long ago and the socket and cord look like they are probably from the 40's and should probably be inspected before use. The socket is a standard size with a switch(underneath the top globe) ... moreThere is a gold metal ring under the bottom globe with a few cracks in it, probably from over tightening the pieces together. It is not loose or broken all the way through. The remainder of the lamp, including the bottom globe does not have any visible damage aside from minor light wear. All paint on the glass pieces is intact and skillfully done. The gold finish on the metal pieces has some wear and has a darkened patina from age. The bottom of the base is marked with a number 5. The lamp measures 21 1/2" H x about 8" W. It will be partially disassembled. Wrapped very well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.
