It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. Antique Art Nouveu Lady Table Lamp- Gold with Mica Glass shades
Art Nouveu Sexy Lady Table Lamp with shades circa 1900. Measures 17" high and approx. 13" wide with the shades. I'm not sure if the lamp is brass or pot-metal. The leaves appear to be brass plated metal. The shades appear to be made out of white Mica. It appears to have one maple leaf missing on the right extension that holds the shade, but to me the lamp overall is in excellent condition and is beautiful. Here is a great set of 2 Atomic Age table lamps. All original 1950s. Flying saucers green glass/ porcelain? with gold gilt( not sure if gilt is actual hammered 22 k gold or other material) Brass accents and base. Large white fiberglass two tier shades with diamond cut metal accents and leather whip stitching. Very modern futuristic style of the age of the space race. Measures; 28" tall from finial to base total height. Saucers 23 1/2" around. Base 21" around. Shade top tier 47 3/4" around X 4" tall. Bottom tier 57" around X 6" tall. Total 10" tall shade. These lamps are stunning. Very good, clean with no stains shades. Glass with gold gilt saucers excellent, no chips or cracks. Brass needs cleaned. These lamps are the best pair of lamps I have ever come across. It's really really hard to part with ... moreand not keep in my home. ORIGINAL ARTS & CRAFTS CHANDELIER WITH 7 STEUBEN GOLD IRIDESCENT TRUMPET SHADES~
For auction is a wonderful Arts and Crafts Chandelier with 7 original Steuben Art Glass lighting shades. The chandelier has some size to it. The base plate that holds each individual shade is 20" in diameter and it hangs 42 1/2" from the top canopy to the very bottom of the center shade that hangs below the other shades. The overall diameter is slightly larger at 21" when the shades are mounted in. The Chandelier displays a wonderful Arts and Crafts cut out pattern in the hammered metal round frame. It has 6 individual lights that hang down from the exterior edge with one hanging down from the center bottom. The 7 shades are held with individual hammered metal cups with hammered lids and 3 fitter screws to hold the shades inside the shade holders. The are supported with very heavy cast iron chain. The fixture has its original ... moreblack brown patina throughout. The ceiling plate that covers the electrical box also displays a wonderful cut out pattern as well. These were found together and it appears it is original to the fixture. There are 7 original Steuben Gold Aurene art glass lighting shades. They are all in the trumpet form or shape. These shades are all considered to be in excellent condition with no cracks. Chips, or dings to any of the shades. This set of 7 shades all match when lit. When they are unlit they all carry a hue that resembles each other with some having more platinum blues and some having more Fuchsia tones than others. Like in nature there are never 2 the exact same. The 6 shades that hang along the outer edge are all approximately 5 1/8" tall and have a diameter of 4 5/8" at the flower or Trumpet end. The center shade that hangs lower is slightly larger as it stands 5 1/8" tall and the Flower or Trumpet end is 5 1/8" in diameter. Several of the shades are signed and a few are not. I have these pictured. The Fleur de Lis Steuben mark on a few of the shades is almost a crisp as the day they were signed. I fully guarantee all the shades to be original Steuben Art
