Vintage 1920's/1930's Set/2 Shabby French Tole Candlestick Lamps Metal Flowers Offered for auction is a charming vintage pair of electric candlestick lamps circa 1920-1930's. Very French. The nicely burnished metal lamps have ornate bases that measure 4" square and enameled flower accents that still show a hint of their original pink color. They stand 13" high without the lightbulbs-with lightbulbs and shades, they measure almost 17" high. As you can see from my photos, they are in excellent working condition and do not need to be rewired. The lampshades are newer and not original to the lamps-the shades will come with the lamps as they work so well with them. Wonderfully shabby and perfect for the lover of romantic vintage! This lamp is awesome, its a tole metal and its got lots of porcelain roses in its center and coming out from wires, one flower has a large knick to petal the others might have minor flecks but look to be ok. Its got this great mint green color and a crystal piece at the center. Its got pull downs on its sockets, so old and awesome. It probably should be rewired but it does work, but I recommend all old wiring should be updated. Comes with 2 cream shades. MONUMENTAL ANTIQUE OLD & AGED FRENCH TOLE CANDLESTICK WINGED LION LAMP w/ SHADE
We are pleased to offer this very lovely. Antique French tole lamp. The lamp dates to the early 20th century(1930s-1940s) It features an ornate, gilded and raised, triangular, curved base. The base is in old plaster or chalkware. It features French wreaths and medallions which were stenciled and painted(they are original to the lamp) for accent. The lamp column is smooth, painted tole with fluted, spherical accents. Mounted on the base and circling the column and three, gilded, hollowed brass winged lions. These ornate creatures are large and very detailed with ferocious expressions and exaggerated(large) paws. The predominant color of the lamp is an aged cream with a light tan hue. The lamp has a simple, elegant, spherical milk glass shade. The lamp is in good structural condition. The finish has aged, but has maintained its character. There ... moreis peeling of the finish in several areas and some minor age spotting under the paint, especially around the socket area. The shade is in good condition with some wear on the top and bottom openings. There was probably, at one time, a fabric shade with a cradle that sat on top of the glass. There are no manufacturer's marks, but the socket design is indicative of the lamp being a Rembrandt. The wiring is older vintage, but it is in working condition. Regardless of its aged appearance, THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL LAMP WITH EXTREME CHARACTER! The lamp is tall and measures 31" to the socket and 37" with the glass shade attached. The base is 8.5" wide. Each bouillotte lamp has 3 candlestick lights which share a single bobeche. They are covered with a brass tole lamp shade. The center lamp column features lantern design with a single light in the bottom section. The lamp is wonderfully designed and features superb construction and details. The shades have a wire frame and metal, neoclassic finials. The fixture is brass with a brushed, antiqued finish. There is an on/off switch on the lamp column. Antique / vintage pair of french tole and brass candle stick lamps
You are bidding on a wonderful pair of antique tole lamps. The shades are a great shade of red with decorative painting on the edge and bands on the top. The shade is flared a bit and has brass rivets The bottom is brass and has detail on the edge. The three candlesticks are electrified- all new wiring. There is a round finial on top and the shades can be adjsuted up and down with the screw. They are in great shape and rare to find a pair. Light bulbs not included. This is an old antique 19th Century painted tole on metal French or Italian Bouillotte two arm table lamp from wonderful old estate done in a figural musical harp motif. It is 16" tall by 13 5/8" across top and the base is 7" by 3 3/4" It is a mustard color with a scene of figures at Roman like ruins. The scene is different on each side. It has the cord cut off and came with no shade. It has slight wear to the paint on a couple of edges not worth noting. See closeup. I also see a tiny 1/8" pinhead hoe on the base which has a 7/8" scratch with paint loss line that runs from the hole to the lamp body. See closeup. This is in wonderful condition for its age. Antique French Bronze Brass Bouillotte Lamp Brass Tole Shade
A antique french bouillotte style lamp in good condition. It does have some bends and dings here and there. Also scuffs and scratches from age and use. I believe this is made of bronze with a tole shade. It is working but as you can see in the pictures the electrical cord has been spliced together to make it longer. But that is a easy fix. The wood faux candles you see in the holders don't quite fit as snug as they should but they still look good. The tole shade does adjust up and down in height. French Bouillotte Regency Desk Lamp Eagle Adorned VTG Tole Shade High Quality
This lamp is in very good condition for its age. French empire style desk lamp topped with an eagle. The size is 26.5 inches from the base to the top of the shade and 17 inches wide from outside of shade to outside of shade. Beautiful patina on the brass and no dents or dings on the shades. The shades are metal and the tole guild is in excellent condition with very little loss. I recently noticed that there had been a scratch on one shade that was touched up with paint; it does not show up in pictures. I have had the lamp for a long time and only noticed it while dusting. So as it is not very noticeable it is there. There is tarnishing on the brass which gives it an aged patina. The lamps electrical works perfectly. This is most likely 1950-1960 manufacturer most likely E. F.Chapman Co. But not marked. Keep in mind this is a vintage lamp ... morewhich always have some imperfections. This is a bouillotte lamp with two large candlestick sockets under a single, tole shade. The shade is metal with an antiqued, golden color with an accent band of gold around the upper and lower perimeters. The lamp has an acorn finial and an arrow adjustment. The lamp is not marked but is of very nice quality. It is in good condition with only minor evidence of age or use. There is some minor scuffing to the finish in a couple of areas, but nothing severe or distracting. These can be easily resolved. The wiring is vintage but was updated at some point. Gold spheres also accent these arms. The lamps have fluted, urn style bases. They are finished in the original, antiqued white enamel. The lamps utilize a single, standard size bulb. They retain their original harps and beautiful, brass finials. The lamps are marked on the bases MSLC 4390. The lamps are attributed to the design of Gilbert Rohde, who designed many lamps for the Sunset Mutual Lamp Company. They are in very good, vintage condition. The wiring has been updated at some point(one has newer wiring than the other) and the lamps are working. Gorgeous antique lamp. Gold gilt over bronze( I believe bronze, not 100% sure) two pink flowers with leaf decoration. Lamp is in excellent condition for its age, measuring 11" tall not including a bulb. There is no shade. The switch works fine( I tested with a bulb) and the extra long cord although older, seems to be in great shape but always safest to have antique lamps checked by a lighting expert. Original pink and gold gilt paint is mostly intact, some minor small flakes here and there due to age. Flowers are some type of metal not porcelain which is often seen.

French Figural Tole Peinte Bronze Bouillotte Lamp Serpents Dolphins Caldwell era
Up for consideration is a vintage Peinte Tole and Bronze figural French Empire style Bouillette Lamp. The lamp is unmarked but dates from about 1910 or so. It stands 26.5 inches tall by about 13.5 inches at its widest point. The piece sports finely cast figural Dolphins as arms with tripodal footed hairy pawed feet. The finial is a round finely cast circular floral wreath. The spreader or shade holder supports are also figual serpent or snake heads. Usually things that are not marked tend to be pre 1891. It possible this lamp dates late 1880's if it was made in France. Hence no"Made in France" as customary with these style of lamps. The lamps measure 34.5" high by 5.5" base and the shade measures 16" at it's widest part. Everything works. Clean cord. Plug, switch and sockets. There is some rust on parts of the lamps.
