THIS ITEM IS A PAIR OF BRONZE DORE LAMPS WITH RARE CERAMIC VASE BODIES. THE CERAMIC BODIES ARE A RARE TYPE OF ORIENTAL CERAMICS AND GLAZE-PORCELAIN WITH AN ORANGE PEEL GLAZE. THE STYLE IS CHINESE. BUT THE VASES ARE JAPANESE(SEE THE PRE-WAR PARTIAL RISING SUN INSIGNIA ON THE BASE OF ONE OF THE VASE/BODIES) THE GLAZE IS RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO PRODUCE ACCEPTABLY.
