Beautiful Marbor Lamp made of solid Onyx in excellent vintage condition. NO breaks or repairs. Just very minor knick and I mean knicks can easily be pollished out. The over all height to the top of the finial is 34 1/2" and the base is 6 1/2" square. The lamp shade is 18" round. I have not checked to see if it works but I would suggest to have it rewired. It looks ok but I think it best for a lamp this age to have it done. I would gather it to be from the 1920's definetly mid Century. Just a stunning piece and hard to find in this color. The farm was owned by an elderly couple that had both died and the family was selling the full contents of the house. They told me that the lamp had been in the family"forever" This beauty stands about 66" tall. The base is 16" square and the shade is 23" in diameter. The column on the base is 5" square. The lamp is in good working condition. It appears to have been recently given a fresh coat of white paint. There were some chips in the original paint which is now covered. BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE & VERY RARE CAPODIMONTE PAIR OF PORCELAIN CHERUB ACCENT LAMPS
Pair of small antique accents lamps. I believe Capodimonte or Majolica porcelain with Cherubs. They measure 13" tall to the tops of the clip on shades. They seem to be all original with the exception of the cords and plugs. The sockets are ribbed brass, marked Alpine. The bases are cast metal that are painted gold. The original cloth covered wiring has been spliced onto newer cords under the bases. Both lamps are working and in good condition. They show normal signs of age, though there are no chips or damage. The clip on shades are in good shape, though do show light spots from handling. I have not cleaned the lamps or shades at all. Thanks for looking. The Most Beautiful and RARE Antique or Vintage Brass Electrified Student Lamp!
Description Thanks for looking at my item! PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BIDDING; I DO OFFER A RETURN PRIVILEGE ONLY IF I HAVE NOT DESCRIBED THIS ITEM CORRECTLY. This is a very beautiful antique OR vintage solid brass electrified student lamp that is unlike any I've ever seen. It is marked RV and an anchor. I've done much research on the RV anchor mark. But can't seem to come up with anythng other than a couple of ship lamps with this mark that I found online that apparently were made around 1830 from France. Whenever it was made, it was made with quality and is breath taking! It has two"arms" with hands holding each lamp, claw feet and an alabaster stem. It has two very beautiful cranberry edged glass shades, and measures about 30" tall X 18" wide. It is in good condition with some brass tarnishing and the left lamp ... moresits in it's holder a bit crooked. Sorry my photos aren't better, was having trouble with the light adjustment on my camera. My photos do not depict the beauty of this rare lamp! This lamp will require UPS packing and shipping. And I won't know the actual cost of it until the buyers location is determined, so the packing and shipping amount stated is only a guess and could be more or less.
