S. Clarke Pyramid Fairy Lamp Base w/ Three Yellow Shades Satin Quilted Diamond
This auction is for nice set of three pyramid-sized Clarke fairy lamp shades with one Clarke base. Included are: one amber diamond point shade. One diamond quilted satin citron shade and one ribbed mustard-colored shade. There is roughness and small chips around the top and bottom openings of all three shades. The quilted citron shade has two notches in the base plus a larger chip on the base and discoloration at the top and bottom edges from heat exposure. The single base is stamped S. Clarke Pyramid Fairy and does not have any chips or cracks. Each shade measures approximately 2 5/8" tall.

These are a pair of wonderful looking lamps. Small for the bedroom. They are styled like a kerosene lamp with the swirl glass and then a china base. The lamps measure from the bottom to the bottom where the brass socket starts 8 1/2" The shades are fabric. Done in a off white background with a blueish grey print and they are clip shades. They could of been custom shades, everything in this house was quality to the period of the home which was federal. They were purchased at a estate sale. We are pleased to offer this wonderful. Petite antique desk lamp. The base, which resembles an inkwell, is gilded cast iron. The lamp has two candlestick arms with unique, gold foil wrapped candle sleeves. The lamp is completed with leaded, capiz shell shades. This is a very beautiful lamp. It is in very good condition with some aged patina to the gilded iron. The clip on shades are very good with no chips, breaks, etc. The wiring is vintage but in good working order. Fabulous Antique Figural Birds Lamp Base For Slag Leaded Glass Shades Bronze Ish
Up for sale is this fabulous antique lamp base. Featuring a pair of long necked birds(I believe cranes? on either side. Wonderful detail work, the lamp has a bronze finish, I don't think it is solid bronze, but it is quite heavy and does not attract a magnet. I believe the top hardware is replaced, but both pulls are working smoothly. You will need hardware to attach a shade. There are no cracks, or breaks. You can see the mold line running through the feathers toward the bottom, and there is some finish wear, including a spot that looks like a paint drip. This a fabulous and extremely rare form, unfortunately it is not signed to identify a maker, but it was definitely done in the era of Tiffany, Handel, Pittsburgh and the other fine makers of that time. Rare offering. Up for auction are three(3) vintage Capodimonte lamps- a matched pair plus a larger lamp that is coordinated with the pair- plus two pairs of shades(a total of 4 shades) All lamps have same color scheme and"go" together. Black. White, gold/gilt color scheme and pastel scenes with a cherub theme. Neutral colors go with most decors. Brass dolphin bases are the same for all three lamps. The pair are 18" high to the top of the light socket. Did not measure the tallest one. But from the first photo, you can see it is a few inches taller. The taller lamp is NOT an exact match with the smaller ones, but it definitely coordinates with them, has the same color scheme and overall design. The three may have been sold as a set(all 3 were purchased at the same time, probably in Boston's North End) These lamps come with ... more4 shades for you to mix-and-match: 2 white and 2 black. The white shades are a linen material. The black drum shades are a suede-like material. I have included photos of the larger and smaller lamps with each of the shades. The lamps look good with either shade, but you may need to buy different sized harps to suit your taste on where the shade sits relative to the lamp. These lamps have been together since the'60s. They probably should be rewired. Although they work just fine. The brass bases are missing the felt bottom. The brass has a nice vintage patina- it can be polished but I will leave that up to the new owner. Pair of Very Old Pewter Base Lamps with Pressed Botanical Shades
Beautiful pair of lamps made out of old pewter vases. Have clip-on paper shades with pressed botanicals. These are the original shades and I believe these lamps date back at least as far as the turn of the Century. Metal work is somewhat amateurish but the bases are great old pewter and the shades are so unusual and old. 6 1/2" to top of pewter base. 3 3/4" wide. 13" to toop of shade. Shade is 7 1/2" wide at widest point and 6" high.
