Vintage Slag Glass Lamp Shade with Winged Griffins Shown is a vintage caramel slag glass lamp shade with a very sturdy and ornate metal(lead) frame that features winged griffins. The frame has no breaks and no repairs and comes to you with its original untouched brass/gilded finish and aged patina. The shade measures 13 inches wide at the bottom(corner to corner) and 4 inches wide at the top and stands 7 inches tall. The 6 panels measure 6 inches at the bottom and 2 inches at the top. Up for auction is this rare art nouveau or arts& crafts tall tulip oil lamp shade. Stands approx 250mm. Ten inches tall, and 165mm max diameter. The base fitting is approx 87mm diameter, external, and 78mm internal. It fits a standard 88mm'porte globe' globe carrier found on many Kosmos type lamps, also Wizard and some small Vulkan burners. will also fit the 3&1/2 inch carriers found on some smaller burners. Main body is overall etched. With a 3 x repeated pattern of raised enamelled medallions and droppers in between. The thin green lines are in a very fine paint. Top frill is finished in a very pale' dusty' lime green finish with a slight irridescence to it, to simulate ancient roman glass that has been buried for 2,000 years. Beautiful leaded art glass shade features graduating size light caramel colored segments over a band of darker caramel rectangles, with an apron consisting of 2 rows of colorful turquoise and blended color segments separated by light caramel segments and connected by alternating jewel-like green and red tapered oval pieces. Glass is all original. No replaced pieces. The leading has a gold tone finish, some minor wear. Metal base has color, shape and design that compliments the shade nicely. Vintage 1920's Handmade Oriental Glazed Ginger Jar Lamp. The jar is in amazing condition with no chips or cracks present. All the original brass electrical hardware is still intact including the original finial. The wood base is also nice with a small split starting from the hole for the wire. Measures 9" tall(to the base of the light socket) the jar is about 8" diameter. Overall height is 21" to the top of the finial. Vintage Reproduction Arts& Crafts Art Nouveau Boudoir Table Lamp with Carmel/ Mint Green/ Cream Slag Glass Panels(6) and Bronze Metal Overlay Ornate lamp shows beautifully at any time of day. Brass lamp base has swirling lily pads and lilies. Shade measures approximately 9" tall and 18" diameter. Bradley& Hubbard Dual Socket Lamp Art Nouveau Style with Jewels Cabarchons This is a fantastic antique lamp from the early 1900's that does work! It comes with dual sockets. Globe bulbs, and has"Edision Patent" labeled on both light switches. Not sure of exact age but lamps with the same manufacturer stamp have dates of 1900-1915. It has a nice arts and crafts look with chunk jewel glass. Wiring looks to have been replaced around late 1950's early'60's(based on label on cord) Both globes are 60 watt bulbs. Brass in color. A magnet does not stick to it but it seems finish has a few small scratches so not sure exactly what metal it is- pictures do show the metal base from underneath. This has a wonderful inverted heart filigree design and a warm amber slag glass. It is ALL ORIGINAL and in very nice condition. The lamp is an excellent medium size. Perfect for any room. It measures 24" high, 12" per side, and the base is 5.5" across. It takes one normal size light bulb. There are a few minor condition issues that are only noticeable on close inspection. Once of the corners of the slag glass has a crack. But is mostly behind the filigree and can not really be seen. Also, on one side the filigree is slightly separated along the center seam. Finally this has the original wiring which works fine but the fabric is frayed on one section. Please see pictures for details of condition.

FOR YOUR ATTENTION& CONSIDERATION: THE MOST UNUSUAL PAIR OF ELECTRIC LAMPS. IN A FORM OF MONKEYS. THIS AMAZING PAIR WAS DISCOVERED THIS SUMMER. DURING MY HAWAIIAN TRIP. THEY WERE FOUND IN THE OLD BUILDING. THAT WAS A FORMER DANCE HALL AND GAME CLUB IN DOWNTOWN HONOLULU. ONCE I SAW THEM I WAS IMMEDIATELY STUNNED BY THEIR APPEARANCE AND STARTED TO GATHER AS MUCH INFO ON THEM AS I POSSIBLY COULD RIGHT THERE ON THE SPOT USING MY COMPUTER BEFORE EVEN MAKING AN OFFER I ALREADY KNEW THAT THEY WERE PROBABLY CHINESE. I ASKED THE CURATOR OF THE BUILDING FOR HIS PERMISSION TO DETACH ONE OF THEM FROM IT'S BASE TO LOOK FOR A POSSIBLE MAKERS MARK. BUT GOT A DEFINITE"NO" FROM HIM AND WAS ASKED TO COME UP WITH THE OFFER OR LEAVE. SO. AFTER THE FIERCE NEGOTIATION I WAS THE OWNER OF A VERY STRANGE LOOKING AND HEAVY LAMPS THAT WERE SO DIRTY ... moreTHAT I HAD TO WRAP THEM UP IN A PAIR OF BEACH TOWELS THAT WERE LATER PRONOUNCED UN WASHABLE BY THE HOTEL PERSONNEL WHERE I STAYED. IT TOOK ME A WHOLE DAY TO CLEAN THE LAMPS AND OF COURSE. DURING THIS PROCEDURE I DID FIND THE MANUFACTURERS MARKS AND CAN STATE NOW THAT THE PORCELAIN MONKEY FIGURINES WERE IN FACT MADE IN CHINA DURING THE LATE 20'S AND EARLY 30'S TOGETHER WITH THE SOFT WOOD BASES. THE SLAG GLASS SHADES AND ALL METAL HARDWARE AND WIRING WERE DONE IN THE US PRE WAR. WHICH WAS THE COMMON PRACTICE BACK IN THE DAY. THE LAMPS ARE IN A GREAT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS CRACKS OR REPAIRS TO PORCELAIN AND GLASS. ONLY SOME NORMAL WARE TO METAL. PAINT AND SOME MINOR MANUFACTURER IMPERFECTIONS IN PORCELAIN SUCH AS UNDER GLAZING AND VERY SMALL PITTING DURING THE MAKING PROCESS. OVERALL I WOULD RATE THEM AS 10 FOR ORIGINAL ANTIQUE CONDITION ON A 10 POINT SCALE. I ONLY REWIRED THEM WITH PERIOD ELECTRIC CORD AND WAS ABLE TO LEAVE THE OLD SOCKETS. PLUGS AND FITTINGS. SO THEY WORK GREAT AND LOOK ALMOST THE SAME WHEN THEY WERE INSTALLED IN A VERY POSH AND STYLISH HAWAIIAN NIGHT CLUB IN A CARD GAME ROOM WHICH. HERE IS THAT BASE you have been looking for! Antique Arts and Crafts. Rainaud#2 Lamp. Cast metal base with double pull chain sockets. Arts and Crafts Art Nouveau floral motif. Floral design molded into four panels surrounded by a hammered finish. Green matte paint. Lamp is heavy(8 pounds) and is stable enough for large heavy shades. It measures 7" in diameter and 24" tall. The lamps condition is very good. Has been re-wired at some time. WILL PACK WELL AND INSURE SAFE DELIVERY.
