All metal base(brass?bronze? magnet sticks to the base but not the cupid or topper) Measures approximately 24" tall X 9" at the base. I believe the globe is original as it is bubbly and imperfect like old glass. I am unsure what parts of this are original. Condition: See photos- lamp works well. Pair original Antique leaded slag glass lamps ornate base victorian Art Nouveau
This is a beautiful pair of victorian table lamps They are very ornate and are original the leaded glass/stained glass shades are in great shape with no visible breaks. the bases retain 975 of the original paint. one lamp does have a replacement cord on it the other has an older one that is not frayed and is still in usable shape. check out the pictures and you will see what fine examples these two lamps really are. the lamps stand 15 inches tall. Offered is an antique glass jewel chunk art nouveau brass shade with high relief. This is not a flimsy thin shade. Very heavy and extremely well made. This is really a beautiful piece sold as is as found. The glass has a rare opalescent stone along with red green, etc. 4 different colors. The shade is solid and very heavy. This does show wear typical of age and use with a couple minor dings on edges, but as you can see it displays beautifully. Great old lamp shade. I am unsure if she is actually holding the world however this appears to be a metaphor for it. This lamp is made from some type of Metal. I am unsure of the exact type. It has a black color to it with some areas where there is a gold color coming through. There are Victorian Details throughout this Unusual Lamp. This lamp is in perfect working condition. It weighs 5.2 pounds and measures 4 and 1/2" wide by 5 and 1/2" deep by 13 and 1/2" tall up to the bottom of the light socket assembly. I am unsure if the light socket assembly is original. Magnificent antique victorian/art nouveau era bronzed cherub table lamp early 1900s* This magnificent bronzed brass antique cherub lamp stands 23 inches high to the top of the finial and is 8 inches wide at the base. The elaborately styled mid-section of this lamp features four cherubs on a naturalistic background. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a very fancy metal pull on the end of the chain. The gorgeous pierced brass floral shade ring is decorated with 34 strands of crystal lustres. I put new brass bow tie connector pins on the crystals. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. This listing is for a beautiful antique table lamp. The lady is cast in metal that a magnet doesn't stick to so I think she's brass or aluminum. Don't know for sure. She's painted with an olive green dress with a gold sash and she's holding an apple. The base is also metal and again the magnet doesn't stick to it. The arms of the lamp are ornately done in cast metal that a magnet does sick to, they are a beige color and there are 3 arms with small size sockets and crystal glass candle cups. Hanging from the candle cups are 5 large hanging glass crystals with small crystals at the top. The sockets are covered with candle covers that have dripping gold wax design. The shade is old and I believe original to the lamp and is 5 inches high and 4 1/2 inches wide at the open end. The fitter end is 3 1/4 inches wide. The shade has a ribbed texture. I thought for sure they were steel or cast iron however they are not magnetic so some sort of metal material with a heavy burnished bronze plating. There are some small/normal for age oxidation specks and some minor plating loss along the back edges but over all very nice condition. Antique Unusual Art Nouveau High Victorian Large Leaded Glass Lamp. Very Fine, Here is a an unusual Art Nouveau leaded glass lamp. This is a fine example of high Victorian. I have not seen this lamp before. And do not know which company created this. It is gorgeous if you admire the style. The highly ornate base has copper extensions that connect with the shade with screws. The lamp is large with the shade measuring 18 inches across and about 28 inches high. The condition is very good. There are just a couple of leaded pieces that show minor separation from the lead; this is pictured. There may be a piece or two of glass with the usual stress crack. The finial has amethyst glass crystals; the top amethyst crystal is in place but not tightly. I have not found a company mark on the shade or base. Please email with questions.
