And is blank on the reverse side. It has a slight bit of smudging in its blank margins, but is still in excellent, lovely condition, with the colors bright and sharp. Above the image it is labelled in small print“England— Plate 299. The credit line below the image reads: London. Chromolithographed& Published by Day& Son. Lithographers to the Queen. J.B. Waring, direx. The print will be accompanied by a large sheet of text related to the lithograph. Which is titled“THE QUEEN’S DESSERT-SERVICE. and describes the subject porcelain manufacturers in Worcester in detail. Saying in part: In the present case we have reproduced some of the principal pieces of the Queen’s dessert-service. Executed for her Majesty in the finest porcelain, the statuettes being excellently modelled in fictile ivory, a specialite of this firm. The base is brass colored metal with a detailed pattern of medallions and swags. The shade is approx. 18" in diameter x 7"h. Overall height is approx. 23" Condition: The glass panels are free of chips. Cracks or repairs and they're seated snugly with no broken tabs. Circa 1910.The base is stamped"223" One of the few early pieces with one-socket upright mount, fitter ring holder. Original socket and pull-chain. It is 22" high- top to bottom of the base, with shade is at 19" wide and 7" high. Beautiful light amber/caramel color shade, with the traces of the original metal color overlay made in red. This is for a Beautiful Ornate Antique 12 Panel Slag Glass Lamp. The lamp has been professionally restored and rewired. The cord is period cloth covered. The sockets are original Arrow Sockets and work well. The 12 original glass panels are all without chips. cracks or repairs. The side curved panels are a combination of tones from blue to lavender. The"tree trunk" type base appears to be spelter or a bronze/brass type metal. As a magnet will not stick anywhere. The unsigned base is numbered, without name, but looks just like several Miller bases I have had in the past. All tabs are present. The frame is solid without splits(there are some solid repairs to the frame) The ornate fillagree is all present. The porcelain dates to the early 1890s. Hand painted. The porcelain portion measures approximately 15 1/2" tall and about 9 1/4" wide. Total height as shown with base and harp is about 27 1/4" We took it apart to locate the Worcester mark and confirm the dating. In those photos you can see the edge of the hole. It is possible that this porcelain was originally a lamp rather than a drilled vase. Please see photos and judge for yourself. CONDITION: A few small losses. But nothing that takes away from the overall look and beauty of the lamp. There is a chip on the decorative band toward the bottom of the lamp as shown in photo. This Auction is for an Antique 1920s Matching Pair Of Art Nouveau German Austrian Possibly Unmarked Royal Bonn Hand Painted Porcelain Table Lamp's. They measure approximately 6 1/2" wide by 27 1/2" tall just the base without the shade harp and socket measures 15 3/4" tall- the two handled porcelain portion measures 13 1/4" tall- they are in very good condition with no chips. Antique Table Lamp Royal doulton Lamp center post
This is a wonderful old antique lamp. It has a metal base enameled in black. The post has a decorative pottery column with scene featuring two children on a see-saw. We were told at the estate that it was made by Royal Doulton though I cannot find any mark to verify this. The upper portion of the body of the lamp has a metal section and an etched glass flattened globe with a standard electrical outlet. The Harp is not removable. There are rub marks on the glass surface. Sadly it really is in need of rewiring. We did test it but happened to be holding the only part of the wire that would have enough damage to it where we became part of the electrical circuit and the condition of the flex is bad enough where it doesn't even look nice. For this reason we didn't show it lit up and we are selling it strictly on an AS IS Basis.
