Antique Bent Slag Glass Lamp Miller Bradley & Hubbard Pittsburgh, Handel, Empire
This is a beautiful nice sized bent slag glass lamp. The shade is a combination variegated deep carmel bent slag glass with a beautiful look to it. The filigree work is just wonderful and sets off the colors in the shade. The lamp is a combination of brass. Copper, bronze and pot metal with a great golden patinated finish near 100% The lamp stands 20 inches tall. The shade is 16 inches wide and about 6 1/2 inches tall. There are 2 vintage sockets working off of one pull chain. One pull turns on one light, second turns on the second light, third pull goes back to one light and fourth pull turns it all off, it all works well. The lamp has been rewired with correct wiring and works and looks just great. This beautiful lamp is unmarked except for a#1 on the base. It may well be a Miller lamp as I had a signed Miller lamp earlier with this same ... moreshade on it. It is just a wonderful looking lamp for you to enjoy in your home.

Antique Pittsburgh Reverse Painted Endless Wave Lamp
This is a Pittsburgh endless wave reverse painted shade. The lamp and shade are in great condition. There is one small imperfection in the paint on the inside that you can hardly see when lit. The wave scene goes around the whole shade. I see 4 birds painted in the shade as well. The base is a nice design with vines. Leaves and flowers throughout. 1925 is cast on the bottom. One socket looks different in color only. Acorns on the ends of the pull chains. Period cord and plug. It's around 23" tall and 16" at the widest point. There is a brass wave design piece attached to the inside and outside of the top of the shade. May be there for repair. I can't see any crack or chips. Works fine, nice lamp.

Up for your bidding pleasure is a very unusual lamp base. I have seen this base called Rookwood but this is definitely a Pittsburgh base. It is polished brass and etched glass. I have tried to show the etching the best that I can but I don't have the best camera. I have listed a picture. 11, of this base from Pittsburgh's#11 catalog that is the same base with green glass. This base is white glass and has the original Pittsburg ID label on the inside of the body, 1244 1/2. It has beautiful detail in the etchings of long leaves and scroll work and I could find no damage. The base is 18 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" in diameter at the bottom and the brass is in excellent condition. It has 2 pull chain sockets and has been rewired with a brown cloth period cord. This is an antique reverse painted Pittsburgh lamp"Call of the Wild" it is the darker rare shade and has an owl base with the original brown patina. This lamp is in very good condition with a very small chip underneath the lamp cap and finial and is not visible but had to be mentioned. There are 3 sockets with three pull chains. This is a wonderful Emeralite 8734 X Lamp by H.G. McFaddin Co of New York. It stands 14 1/2 inches tall on about a 7 inch round moulded base. The finish is a beautiful deep patinated Brass/Bronze finish and just looks great. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This is a little different than most of the Emeralite lamps. Rather than the wing nut adjustment apparatus for tilting the lamp shade. This lamp has the knob with a screw head in it and is spring loaded to keep the shade in place. To adjust it you can do a short partial turn with a screw driver and then adjust the shade where you want it and back the screw the short turn and then the shade will not move. First spring loaded one I have ran across. Very tight and interesting mechanism. But from the information I have read, this lamp was made by the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass& Glass Company. They were the makers of Success kerosene lamps. The lamp has the kerosene burner converted into an electric lamp. The kerosene reservoir was drilled for the fitting of the old gold cloth covered electrical cord. It was made sometime between Aug. 28, 1900- Mar. 21, 1916 It is a very beautiful brass lamp. With a clear chimney& a milk glass globe. Measurements are approx. Lamp with globe& chimney 21" tall. Vintage Antique 1920's Double Socket Lamp Base Miller? Pittsburgh? Parts Repair
This double socket lamp dates to the 1920's or thereabouts. Its either a Miller or a Pittsburgh. I've seen this same pattern that appears on the base of this lamp on other signed lamps. This one is marked on the base but is under the weight and I could not get the weight off nor can I see through the weight to see what it reads. Untested as the plug is missing but I see no reason why it wouldn't work as the pull chains snap crisply. The original paint on this one is in pretty nice condition but the vase shaped piece just above the base has 2 dents and the paint is scratched on that part. Up for auction is this wonderful. Antique, and rare oil Lamp marked"Success" and"P.L. B. G. Co. I tested it with a magnet and there was no attraction anywhere on the lamp which leads me to believe it is Brass, It is not steel or tinplate and too heavy for aluminum. P. L. B. G. Company was in business from 1900 to 1926. The famous"Success" burner was patented( 656891& 774602) between 1900 and 1916 and was the foundation of the company. P. L. B. G. Co was associated with the Railroad Industry. This is fresh from an estate. I suspect that it was used for illumination in a passenger coach. Or a commercial business such as an office or store, but I can't know for sure. It came with the glass lamp shade shown but I don't know it this clear shade is original. I have no way of testing the lamp's functionality ... morebut have taken a lot of pictures so you can make your own determination by looking at them. It is in as found condition and has not been cleaned, The lamp has a nice perforated base designed to be placed on a shelf or table. When cleaned it should be outstanding. The brass base measures about 6" in diameter and is about 8 1/2" tall. With shade height becomes about 16" The burner(circular wick)appears to be 1 1/4" in diameter and it weighs a hefty 1 1/4 lbs. An very nice antique. Circa 1920's, Pittsburgh table lamp. The white metal lamp base retains the original brushed olive paint finish, the matching shade cap and finial. The three brass socket cluster are old brass, but not original to the lamp. In working order with newer cord and plug. The lamp shade has a Pittsburgh paper label on the reverse, and is identified as by Pittsburgh in catalog(see photos. Lamp measures 22-1/2" tall by 7-1/2" diameter, the shade 7" tall by 16" diameter. The shade has six panels reverse decorated with snowy winter scenes, half with figures and animals, the exterior with applied gray enamel granuals as snow. It is without chips(usual grinding nicks to top rim) or cracks, decorations unworn. The lamp base has some flaking to the paint, white metal without dents ot breaks.

This is a beautiful Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp in great condition. The lamp stands 22 1/2 inches tall with a 7 1/2 inch base. The shade is 17 or 18 inches in diameter. Depending on where you measure it, and is 8 1/2 inches tall. The shade is marked in two places"Bradley& Hubbard Mfg. Co. and the only markings on the base are inside the novel area that holds the lamp sockets. It is marked"Pat. Dec. 7, 1920" I find no other markings on the base. The sculpted base and shade have well defined laurel leaves, flowers and ribbon garlands. The finish is a beautiful variegated antique gold and is about all there. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfect. The shade is complete with no cracks. There are a couple small missing pieces of filigree on the bottom of the shade that do not detract from the lamp. See ... morethe 2 pictures of the B& H markings on the shade. Up for sale are TWO MATCHING industrial? lamp shades. They are both Clearly signed PITTSBURG Looks like they are flashed glass with a very shiny almost mercury like interior and a ribbed exterior. They measure about 6" tall. And the base is 7.5" x 8" With a top opening of a little over 2" In very good condition. I had these marked in my shop at $125 each but will sell them n this site for $195 for the pair! Very very little paint loss! This beautiful lamp was found at an upstate NY Estate. The glass is white with caramel color streaks. Gorgeous ornate detail to both the base and shade. The metal on the shade and base is non-magnetic and gilded with gold leaf. I do not find a Makers Mark on the lamp so I won't venture a guess as to the maker. This is a large lamp with wonderful craftsmanship. As noted in detail below. One glass panel has a crack CONDITION The shade frame is beautiful with just a few spots where the gold finish has worn- non-obvious places like inside edges. The base has only a couple spots of wear on the finish. Two of the spots at the top- pretty much out of sight- and one tiny one ... moreon the side(see pictures) The cord has been replaced(with another antique cloth cord) but the inner wiring looks to be original The sockets are marked"Arrow" and appear to be original to lamp One glass panel has a large crack. Glass stays in frame but. It is in three pieces. A antique lamp shop should be able to repair or replace(I will tape this crack for shipping) Lamp is working fine. This is a beautiful signed Miller Co Lamp with a wonderful stained glass shade. The lamp stands 23 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial and sits on a 7 1/2 inch base. The shade is 17 inches in diameter and 6 1/2 inches tall. The base is well marked and probably has something to do with the special socket group. It is marked" CS-100. The Miller Co. This Victorian-era parlor lamp has the most pleasing decoration.clusters of green grapes with brown leaves on curly vines.perfect for the lover of white wine! The back side is also decorated with smaller clusters of grapes.the vines and leaves encircle the sides. Please pardon the white spots which are glare from my camera flash. Not damage. The SUCCESS-marked font and elaborate spill ring and base are indicative of Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass, Glass as the maker.dates c. 1905. The decal decoration has some light hand-painted enhancement on the grapes and leaves. The lamp measures 25" to the top of the 10" ball shade. The background coloring is deep and rich.dark chocolate brown around the top of both globes which fades in to a deep caramel tan. The overall condition is excellent with no damage or repairs to the glass. There are no flakes ... moreor chips around the fitter edge, other than some minor factory roughness. Please note the small black spots near the rear of the shade.they are factory flaws that happened during the firing.visible in the last photos and not distracting. The shade retains its original heat ring. The original font, as shown in the photos, was electrified at some point in the past. The tank/reservoir appears to be intact, however does not lift out due to the wiring. The metal fittings appear to have had an expensive re-plating in brass at some point in the past. The wiring appears to be newer.was most likely re-wired when the metal was re-plated. A switch was added to the base and works well.only the top lights. ANTIQUE Gone With The Wind Oil Lamp Red Satin Glass in the Artichoke Pattern Made by the Pittsburgh Lamp Co. 1895-1910 24" Tall w/Globe Diameter 10" I believe the parts are original. The tank may be a replacement but from the period. Has the heat ring on the top shade. The oil tank has a repair underneath as can be seen in an image it was soldered at some point& painted a matching brass/gold color. Description: Metal base has 4 paw feet w/ golden images of women above them. Above the base is the artichoke pattern red satin glass base shade. The collar that the oil tank fits into has a floral pattern on it. The oil tank is a traditional one and the flame spreader moves freely. Tank is marked"THE MILLER LAMP MADE IN U.S.A. The cap on the oil tank is marked"MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" The Flame spreader is ... morea B&H one. The Shade is a rich red matching the base glass in the artichoke pattern and fits on the ring. The Lamp is well balanced with no wobbling. Condition: Over-all Excellent. I am mentioning the following but it truly is insignificant! A few flea bites on the shade rim that fits on the shade ring nothing major& doesn't show when shade is on the ring. Two 1/32" rubs on the satin glass shade. Probably from being against a wall, both in the same area. Over-all the satin glass on the base and the shade is fantastic with no scratches or lines. Under the collar where the base attaches is a 1/4" nick of glass that I never noticed in the years I've had this, it can't be seen unless the lamp is turned upside down because the collar that holds the tank fits over it. I would suggest the new owner get a new shade ring for the shade as this one does not fit as tight as it should(these naturally wear out over time from being moved) As stated earlier the tank base was repaired at some point. This is a fantastic antique two-light Pittsburgh(PLB&G Co) table lamp with very unique pink and turquoise slag and stained glass shade with carnival glass reflector"jewels" I don't believe the shade is original to the lamp. But I believe it is from the same time period and fits the lamp and has a bold art deco style. In the photos, the shade is resting loosely on top of the lamp. To attach the shade securely, a screw will need to be threaded through the cap on top of the lamp and the hole in the top of the shade and held together with a finial. I do not have a screw and finial that will fit. The remainder of the lamp looks very good. The three arms that hold up the shade are adjustable with a little set screw on the side of each. One of the screws has been replaced with a screw that doesn't match the others. But it works. ... moreThe finish on the lamp is nearly 100% intact with some chips around the base, and it has acquired a rich dark aged patina. Where it has chipped off of the base, there is a little surface rust which is not very noticeable. The sockets are original. There is a pull chain that can turn one light, the other, or both on at once. The socket cover is a little loose because it is not snapped firmly over two little bumps on the bottom like it should be, but I am leaving it as-is because I don't want to break it, and it stays on the way it is. The cord looks new, but the plug looks original and in good condition. Under the perforated cast iron piece on the bottom of the lamp, the base is marked PLB&G Co. and numbered 2053, and the two original set screws on the lamp's arms are marked P/LABRASSCO. The shade is made of pieces of pink and turquoise slag and stained glass with cut out areas around hexagon shaped iridescent carnival glass jewels that have a texture on the inside surface that gives them the appearance of a reflector. HUGE Antique Pittsburgh PL&B Success Kerosene Oil GWTW Banquet Parlor Lamp pink
I have up for sale a simply wonderful vintage original circa very early 1900s PL&B Co Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass& Glass Company GWTW Gone With the Wind Style Kerosene/Oil burning Parlor Lamp. The lamp is drop dead Gorgeous and its massive,standing approx 27-1/2" tall- with the top ball shaped globe shade measuring approx 10-3/4" diameter. This lamp is just that much larger than most examples and that much more beautiful- its top of the line lamp,even better when seen first hand. This is about as good as it gets for Gone with the Wind lamp. I have had many GWTW lamps and none any more beautiful than this. The front of the lamp features absolutely gorgeous floral decorations of what I believe are Magnolia Flowers. No damages and wear is light. Pic#11 shows the front decoration of the shade. I photo shopped it giving a high resolution ... moreso any wear is magnified. It looks nicer when seen in person. Please view the pics and make your own condition assessments. The fount is the original SUCCESS Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass& Glass Co with original burner. The chimney is not included in the sale, the one that I have is damaged and it just adds to the difficulty of packaging. Overall the lamp is in Very Good to Excellent Original Condition! Any wear is most minor- no damages nor any repairs. Some very minor wear to the plating on the base but nothing of any significance. The wick appears to be somewhat stuck. May need some adjustment or cleaning where it fits into the burner. Maybe after its been burned, it will loosen and move more freely. I will package with utmost care- double box both the top globe and the base unit. Both parcels will be shipped via FedEx Ground or Home. Pittsburgh Reverse Painted Table Lamp. Domed shade with 6 reverse painted scenic panels with tall fir trees along a pond scene with swimming swans. Divided by obverse frosted textured vertical ribs with green highlights. Shade is in very good condition with a couple small chips and few surface chips under the fitter of the shade. Has 3 socket metal and brass base. Measures 8 1/2" wide, 24" high, shade 17" diameter divided in 6 sections.
